AlcoDigital 3000

Bought this Breathalyzer a few weeks ago and it really is superb. Previously had an AlcoSense Elite but the readings seemed to vary all over the place - half the time it just gave "Hi" or "Lo" which wasn't much help. Only 60 quid, but a waste of time & money - in the end the sensor went after 13 months (just our of warranty of course) and it was "beyond economic repair" - so it went in the bin

The 3000 is in a totally different league. As an ex-copper I know what I'm talking about and I wouldn't rely on anything less than this; it seems to be just as accurate as our Police 6510 on which it's based and actually feels like this one will last. (and at least this time it's got a two year warranty, AND replaceable/serviceable parts)

There's no point in having a breathalyzer unless it's accurate & reliable and this is definitely the best out there. Yes, it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for - pay cheap, get cheap. And unlike the Elite, after a dinner with friends the night before I now feel I can totally rely on the 3000 before I leave for work. Thoroughly recommended.
