I Bougtht One Of These As A Frame Only Off An Auc

I bougtht one of these as a frame only off an auction site, and built it up with my own choice of stuff, 140 Marzocchi's TST forks, triple chain set, Deore/sram mix, full outer cables,(I ride all year)short 55mm stem , wide bars WTB tyres (2.25)and saddle, Avid Juicy 3's with 203 front and 180 rear. It goes up hills like a goat and down them like a stabbed rat! My mates on their £2000+ bikes struggle to keep up, going up and down.If you can still get one, absolute bargain- does everything it's supposed to do and more- tough, light and a blast to ride.Just as good as may more expensive bikes out there- and comfortable enough to ride all day.

hi i was interested to read this report. we have had the same experience. the crank repeatedly falling off or coming loose.even after a local agent lock tighted it back in place. you say "good bike, great components" it seems they just can not put them together!

I Have Had This Bike For A Year Know And I Don't R

I have had this bike for a year know and i don't regret a moment of buying it. the forks may be heavy however, after a while they become very supple . i have been using it for majoritively downhill so the front cranks came off single chainring on and chain guide. i have been thinking of getting/ trying out some marzocchi 66s to see if i can improve the handleing at speed but that is a long time coming and i certainly does not need to change soon.
