Branx Fitness Elite Runner

Purchased 3 products from branx, the elite treadmill, the x-fit cross trainer and a mat for the treadmill. During lockdown i didnt expect delivery obviously but they responded to all my questions on email and over the phone even on a sunday at 9am. When I eventually received my products (the cross trainer was a nightmare to assemble took me 2 hours) but everything was brilliant, the quality of the products to me is not far off that from a gym and the level of service i received from branx was at the highest level also. me and my family love all the equipment and have used it daily and we can all highly recommend branx fitness. X

Do not go near BRANX. Unfixable after 2 years and only used about 50 times. My treadmill stopped working during Christmas 2013 (bought Jan 2011), I unfortunately took a couple of weeks to contact Branx. Message is they dont have any parts, dont sell it anymore and have offered me a reconditioned machine for approx £500. This is after they asked me to write them a favourable review to speed up getting an engineer to look at the machine. Stupidly I did this review for them on Amazon. After sending photos in they told me the model is no longer supported. The problem seems to be electrical, power light on, emergency button in correct place but no response from treadmill. Its been used for light running about 50 times. Impossible to speak with anyone on the phone. A disastrous buy.

If anyone knows of anything which could help fix or has had a similar experience.

I purchased this treadmill based on its high quality and specification as well as long warranty provided. I have used it now for sometime and am very happy with my purchase. The customer services which I received from Branx Fitness was outstanding to say the least and I would openly recommend this company to friends, family and those wanting a great quality product with the after sales of John Lewis.

Received the Elite Pro treadmill within the time specified. On arrival we noticed the packaging had taken some battering, this concerned me as it would be another two weeks before I would unpack and set up the treadmill (within 14 days you can legally return item and receive full refund). I phoned Branx Fitness the next day, the manager Peter Jones assured me that if there were any problems they would resolve.

Two weeks later I finally set up the running machine, it was very easy to put together only a few screws, however the instructions are terrible to understand, it's as though they have been written by Manuel from Fawlty Towers.

After setting up the running machine I was disappointed to find that it would not work. I immediately sent an email and tried calling on several occasions the next day and kept being diverted to voicemail. On the fifth attempt I finally managed to get through and it was Mr Branx himself that answered, I told him that the machine was not working (error codes 01 and 04) he advised me that this sounds like a delicate part had been damaged in transit and that he would arrange for an engineer to visit us and correct the problem. Three days later true to there word Branx have fixed the problem and now the machine has been working perfectly for the past two days of use.

My first gripe is the failure to answer my email and call punctually, it can be unsettling when you have spent £800 and it doesn’t work, however I was immodestly put at ease when I finally got through and spoke to Mr Branx and they promptly fixed the machine

Second gripe are the instructions. However Mr Branx advised me that they are addressing this and there will be new instructions and videos on the website soon, this I think will be a great idea.

NB* Branx can I also suggest giving descriptions for each running program; this would be very useful as well.

Overall I’m very happy with the product and thinks its great and the service received is excellent and very reassuring. So much so I’m waiting off buying a rowing machine from another supplier until Branx release there’s onto the market in few months time (hope it’s not too long), in the meantime I can put the running machine through it paces to see it how it fares up.

For the reasons above I will give a four (I appreciate damage in transit can happen), otherwise it would have been a five.

I have had a new BRANX FITNESS GYM RUNNER PRO TREADMILL for over a month now and its EXCELLENT. I paid just over £2,000 for it and its worth every single penny, I cant recommend this treadmill enough, the programs are fun and gym like, 100 programs, amazing, the challenges etc never stop and its hard to get bored. The cooling fan actually helps keep you cool, the quality, well thats one of most impressive things about it. I now hope it serves me well, but so far so good, extremely impressed! I guess if I had to say something negative or the worst thing about it, well theres nothing negative to say about this treadmill, all I would say is that the delivery guys could have smiled a bit more : ) but they were polite enough considering this is a very heavy item and it was a rainy day and not to mention an early morning! Excellent company to deal with though. Overall I vote my whole experience 10 out of 10.

I would agree the manual is not much to talk about but you cant knock the treadmill, I had a £1500 treadmill before the branx fitness gym runner and its no where near as good. I would recommend the BRANX fitness GYM runner treadmill to anyone who wants excellent value for money and a treadmill that is high quality. I am a happy bunny. Maybe you had a faulty one can happen always, I recommend you contact branx fitness as there after sales is exceptional. HAPPY XMAS EVERYONE!!! time to get fit not fat this year : )

The reviewer who said the instruction manual was difficult to understand, was completely correct. The disclaimer on the back of the 'manual' reads

"Proofreading has been carefully done to the manual, if there are printing mistakes, please kindly understand. If pictures and the real product doesn' t [sic] match, please take the product as the final and correct one. If any improvement on function and specification, please kindly understand if you are not informed".

Highly ironic, since the manual is only slightly better than having no manual at all. Giving virtually no instruction in how to use the machine or its programs.

Okay, so the manual is typically of a rush-translation job from the Chinese I'm guessing. Not very impressive and quite a challenge to understand and make the necessary adjustments to get it working well.

In use it's noisy and the belt slips every few minutes (even after considerable readjustment), which means it's forever speeding up and slowing down.

I think for the money (the wrong side of £500), it really should perform better than this and I regret spending this much on something of such poor quality.

Hi all, came across this review site when googling branx fitness as I wanted to show a friend the branx fitness gym runner treadmill as I have one and she wants one : ) so thought I would share my experience.

The company are excellent, had a little prob and not only were they fast to resolve but also compensated me, how many companies do that these days, the treadmill is simply outstanding. So I would recommend the company and there products to anyone.

Had the Branx Fitness Gym Runner Treadmill for 7 Months, never imagined the quality could be as good as it is for so cheap. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic products, I have a branx fitness gym runner pro treadmill and I love it, I still go to the gym but when I cant make it I use this treadmill and its simply brilliant and the company are a pleasure to deal with. Thanks BRANX FITNESS, I will be recommending you without any doubts * * * * *
