Dissatisfied

Head championship tennis balls are ridiculously poor except for longevity. Does not respond to topspin, difficult to inject speed, and the bounce is too low even if they are not soft at all. They played on a difficult court.

Great Balls, Long Lasting

Im a decent player. Compared to cheap Wilson US Open these balls are way better. They are hard, and stay hard for a longer time. The bounce is higher, feel is heavy. This balls is intended for players that hit hard, they will last. Wilson US Open is more or less dead after 3 hours of play, I can play with these for 5 hours. The pros are durability, the cons, well almost twice as expensive as US Open. I have played with more or less every ball on the market (Babolat Team, RS Black Edition, Wilson US Open, Dunlops etc). These are the ones I will stick with, until something even better shows up.

World's Worst Ball

I agree with Rafa Nadal, who recently expressed a dislike of this ball. They have been used in the Leicestershire leagues since 2015 to & I believe average enjoyment levels have dropped considerably as a result. It is true they don't react to topspin. I haven't weighed them but they feel heavy on racket impact & fly off without the dip you expect from topspin. Along with many other people, I find them much livelier through the air than any other ball & the bounce too high & inconsistent. Furthermore, they are the only ball to cause me tenderness in the wrist, elbow & shoulder. I love to play tennis, I thoroughly enjoy matches, but I will not participate again as long as these balls are used.

Totally agree with you! Awful quality, awful tennis balls. The level of tennis, techniques, feeling of the ball, pleasure of playing tennis is simply destroyed. ! am amazed that federations and tournaments continue the use these awful balls.

Awful

Except for durability, Head Championship tennis balls are ridiculously bad. Doesn't react to top spin, hard to inject pace and even though they are not soft at all, the bounce is too low. Played on an hard court.

Totally disappointed and considering it is as expensive as Wilson balls, won't buy ever again.

Good Longevity On These Balls. I've Used Them In P

Good longevity on these balls. I've used them in place of Dunlop forts for around 6 months now. Nice feel, decent bounce and can be controlled pretty well. I'll be testing them on the grass this summer to see if they perform as well as they have on the indoor hard courts.

I Have To Disagree With Those Who Posted A Review

I have to disagree with those who posted a review of this ball. I have used this ball many times playing a friend who has a case, and this is my least favorite ball I have used. I find it plays quite dead, doesn't react to a heavy topspin groundstroke well, and doesn't reward a ball hit with pace. The ball really tames down the game, neutralizing explosiveness. The ball doesn;t bounce like other tennis balls, staying quite low. I really don;t enjoy playing with this ball, becasue i feel it doesn't reward players who hit heavy topspin groundstrokes, which are the hallmark of the modern game. Wilson US Open are a far superior ball to this. Durability of this ball is poor as well, the felt wears off after 2 hours of heavy hitting. Pass on this ball.

I agree with you that these are the worst balls ever. They dont even last 2 hours, as they are simply dead after only 4-5 games.

A Great Ball With True Bounce. Is Durable With Goo

A great ball with true bounce. Is durable with good weight and feel. I must say this is one of the best balls I have played with.
