Dont Use Them
Unable to contact them by phone, if you book and pay online be careful. Just turned up to a site in Kettering that was booked through ministry of paintball and no one was there. Spoke to staff by phone who run site and no knowledge of booking.Ministry of Paintball not booked there for over a year, how do you get your money back if you cant get in touch with them??
Booked A Month In Advance, Had No Contact Whatsove
Booked a month in advance, had no contact whatsover after making payment - tried calling, tried email and never got through/never got a reply. Had to guess at what the location was and when we got there our booking didn't exist and the site had never heard of ministry of paintball (nor anywhere else on the island that may have been affiliated with them). Having read other reviews here I realise (all too late in the day) I should never have touched them with a barge pole! Next stop, citizens advice bureau to find I there's anyway to rescue my wasted money.

Vip Passes Not Worth A Penny
We won a VIP pass that was donated by ministry of Paintball for a charity event that we attended last year. Due to its value (or supposed value of £25.00 per person up to 24 people) it was the first prize. However the voucher is worthless, in actual fact in the long run it costs more money than if you book direct with the local piantball centre. I spoke with ministry of paintball about this and was just fobbed off saying that the local centre must be doing a special offer! this is not the case as I checked this out also.
I just wnat people to be warned as to not fall for their tricks and do not be tempted to fall for their offers.

If I Could Rate This 0 Stars I Would!
where do I begin.. to be honest I should have known but having never done paintballing before I just expected it to be super expensive and when I heard £30 for 8 passes I was sold.
all the booking went through ok.. until I saw you had to pay for the first 100 paintballs each so that's now £110 I've paid on this whole day and I haven't even got there yet. seemed pretty legit though when I was ready the little leaflet id been given with all the different sites on
I chose the closest site to me (Nottingham) on my birthday; all fine then a few weeks later I was told that the site I chose was unavailable on that day and time now so I'd either have to move the day or change sites. eventually after deciding between 8 of us what to do we decided to change sites but when I tried to call back.. no answer
When I eventually got through to the arsey woman on the end of the phone she didn't really seem bothered or helpful in the slightest and just said she'd send me the new confirmation email.. This didn't happen until I phoned them up yet again and asked them to do so
I printed off the conformation email as it stated I wouldn't be able to play without it but I never even had to hand it in
Anyway after an amazing day paintballing we were then told by the paintballing marshals that we needn't have bothered booking through MOP and we didn't need these so called VIP passes, paintballing is completely free all you pay for is the paint! you get nothing extra using MOP it's all rubbish
So if someone offers you them tell them where to go literally just book through the paintballing site!
Seriously recommend rebel paintballing in Leicester though aha
Rant over ! :D

A Sizeable Pile Of Feculence
I don't know whether to feel worse for myself or my Mum, who bought vouchers from MoP as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, she wasted her pension money on something that should ordinarily have cost nothing.
First off, you can get into most paintballing sites for free in the UK, and you will have greater freedom to book a time convenient to you (no pointless expiry dates)
Second, you can get your paintballs for fewer pennies if you buy them on site rather than MoP.
Third, the paintballing place of your choice is bound to have far more information on its website than MoP does. For the site I chose, there was no indication of what the day would involve, how activities would be structured and it was not clear when we should turn up. For the site I chose, it simply stated that it would be OPEN 10am-dusk. Nowhere did it say that it was a full day activity, or that turning up for a few hours would be impossible.
Fourth - and this is very disingenuous of MoP - they do not list the address or phone number of the paintballing site of your choice on their website, and I believe this is to prevent you from cutting MoP out of the process and contacting the site directly. But of course, if you cannot find information about the site you want to play at on MoP's website, you end up with... no information!
Fifth - You need to buy 100 paintballs per person to confirm your booking. This isn't immediately obvious, and MoP sell these at a higher price than your local site. Also, on contacting my site, I was told that 100 paintballs is nowhere near enough for the whole day. It didn't say this on MoP (and if you're new to it like me, you probably wouldn't have known this).
Sixth - MoP have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have had the misfortune to endure. In spite of claiming to have phone lines open on a Saturday, each time I called I got through to a answer phone message, stating that the mailbox was full. I called again during a weekday - same message. And of course, the numbers aren't free-phone. So that cost me extra £££.
When I DID get through, I ended up speaking to the tersest woman in the history of customer service. She kept putting me on hold, her attitude was terrible, and she treated me like the excrement of a diarrhoetic pig. Instead of being helpful, she made me feel as if it were my fault that I did not know where the vouchers had been purchased (they were a present - how was I supposed to know?!). When I said I had not realised my booking was for a full day, she said it was clear on the website ( it is not - have a look for yourself - it just says OPEN Xam-Ypm). When I said I couldn't understand how it would be a full day's activity or what we'd be doing to fill 6 hours (newbie paintballer here), she made me feel like I was educationally subnormal for not knowing. She then tried to charge me money to change the date, and pressured me to give a new date then and there. I've never felt so worthless after a phone call with a customer rep, which is so disappointing when this is supposed to be about doing something fun.
Seriously, avoid these people like they have pus-filled buboes all over their faces.
If you want to do paintballing, contact your local site directly - mine are much nicer people!

Do Not Use Mop
Ministry of paintball is a disgrace. You have to pay to get the entry passes, that are totally redundant as you can enter for free at most sites, then you have to purchase paintballs which cost more from mop then it actually does at the paintball site!
Mop are just an agency that sell tickets to make cash for literally doing and providing nothing. I recently used VIP tickets to go on a day with friends. When I arrived the paintball site did not know that I was going to be there, mop should have told them, luckily they could fit us in. Then I realise we do not get the free lunch which is allegedly part of the deal with mop. I then looked online after the day and realise I could have got more paintballs and a free lunch for half the price if I had gone directly through the paintball company where mop sent me.
Very angry with the service, or lack of service.

Ministry Of Paintball
Yet again, a brilliant day out organised by Ministry of Paintball. They were so flexible with our changing requirements including providing info for the other parents. The booking team couldnt have been more accommodating, the fact that they were proactive and were contacting us to ensure that we had everything we needed was fantastic. It was nice that they take as much care with a childrens party as they did with the corporate party I last booked. I really am grateful for the help and kindness from the staff at Ministry of Paintball, my husband is getting a voucher for Christmas as is our son! I couldnt reccommend them enough and I am a stickler for customer service.

Best Day Ever
Ministry of Paintball organised the best ever team building day ever! They were great and so flexible, it was such a relief to know that everything was taken care of so professionally. Their staff have restored my faith in customer service, they really do care! Looking forward to our next day of paintball!

After Thinking I Got A Good Deal From Mop, Imagine
After thinking I got a good deal from mop, imagine my shock when I arrived at the paintball site to be told I had spent £50 on a worthless piece of card and the £66 I paid for each booking was a rip off! In fact the manager of the site told me that had I not bothered with mop and gone straight to them I would have almost 2000 paintballs as opposed to the paltry 100! I have reported mop to trading standards because they are tricking people into thinking they are buying something when in fact they are just ripping you off!
Mop is a disgrace, well done for reporting them!
