Value For Money
A Lot Of Money Has Been Spent Here In The Last Yea
A lot of money has been spent here in the last year, it is unrecognisable and looks like a new business. The climbing rotes in the centre seem to be changed often and offer a qide range of grades.
The new childrens climbing area is excelent and offers the best facilities for getting the little ones interested in climbing I have seen anywhere.
We used also had our sons birthday party here and I can't rave enought about the value for money I thought we got with all of the children wanting to do it again.

Found The Staff On The Desk Unhelpful And Very Un-
Found the staff on the desk unhelpful and very un-climber-like (if that makes sense!).
The bouldering section for the children is really good, but the adults' bouldering section isn't worth the entrance fee. Haven't had an opportunity myself to try the actual climbs, but my children have. There doesn't appear to be many lower-grade climbs.
Really doesn't have the right feel to it, this place. Gives the impression they just want to make money from putting on parties. Not a climbing wall for climbers, this.
I found this review not helpful because...
I totaly disagree
and also he says he did not climb himself, when we used the centre we found lots of routes for our children and ourselves and we dont climb hard grades.
the staff where very helpful and gave lots of advice.

Gloucester Climbing Centre Has A Variety Of Climbs
Gloucester Climbing Centre has a variety of climbs, offers junior clubs, excellent catering, access 2 mins from city centre. Although offering an excellent place to climb the warehouse staff does not seem to have the right attitude, you can wait up to 10 minutes whilst the instructors finish discussing their climbing experiences before getting round to you. If they want to run the clubs for the juniors etc they really need to get their act together to realise that this clientele is slightly different to the majority of their normal climbers. It maybe that this isn't their forte but in the economic situation I think the attempted diversification to appeal to a greater audience needs either to be adopted wholehearteldly or dropped and another tack taken.
I found the clubs lack structure, there does not seem to be any communication between the parents as to the goals which are to be achieved by the youngster. The "training" is spasmodic dependant on the individual taking the lesson and seemingly their mood.
I found this review very helpful. I personally find the student instructor ratio very low. Great climbing walls but like you say you are not sure what is going on or where they should be at. It is a bit hit and miss could so do better.
