Great Trucks, But The Only Problem I Had Was That

Great trucks, but the only problem I had was that the kingpin has broken about three times over 2 years and even using the best grade bolt o replace it it just snaps after a while-really good if you have a skinnier deck, like a 7.5 but if you like an 8 or 7.88 like I do, then these kingpins are gonna snap because they only have a 7.65 width-and that does make a huge difference-I don't ride them now, but when I get the smaller decks, I always use these trucks, if not I am using the venture v5 with a 8 wide set-up. Though they do not grind as well. Oh, and if you do snap the kingpin, its a pain to put a new one in the first time, mine had a permanent bolt-not sure if they still do that?

I Have Had A Pair Of Thunder Lows For About A Deca

I have had a pair of thunder lows for about a decade now (literally just one pair), and hands down, these have been the strongest truck that i have ever skated; and i have skated several different major brands of trucks. Like i said, they are super durable, but the kingpin is too high, and it does interfere with some grinds and it is especially noticeable when skating transition. Other than the kingpin, they are a little on the heavy side and my axles have also stripped out, but like i said, i have had them for about a decade, so i don't think that i can complain too much.in my opinion, they are the best truck i have skated for durability, they just need to focus on function a little bit more

Over All These Have Been Really Good Trucks, But J

Over all these have been really good trucks, but just super annoying because the kingpin is too high. i would recommend them for anyone who wants a truck that will last a LONG time.

On Other Trucks The Bushings Sort Of Cushion You T

On other trucks the bushings sort of cushion you they feel more like clay on thunders when you tune them they just feel like a limit to how much they turn.

The Thunder Lows Are 'okay' Trucks. They Do Everyt

The thunder lows are 'okay' trucks. They do everything you need them to, but for the same price, you can get Independent Trucks. These thunders turn bad, look bad, and are only good if you're really good. Even then, Independent Trucks will support you better. I never thought it was possible, but when you grind ledges and gutters, the kingpin grinds too! Which is crazy, and sometimes even stops your grind.

All in all; don't bother with these, buy better trucks. Buy Independent Trucks; buy the best! Independent Lows are out soon!
