Great For Learners
As I was going on my first ski holiday I needed to get some ski gear together but didn't want to spend loads on a jacket or ski pants. I searched online as there are not a lot of good ski shops nearby. Most ski pants or salopettes were far too pricey. I spotted these Surfanic Womens Piste Domino Pants at TKMaxx. At less than £30 and with time running out I ordered them.
I liked the colour and design of the pants. They are bright turquoise with a kinda star pattern, the material is really nice and thick and not shiny like many of the salopettes that I looked at. They have boot hooks, gaiters at the ankles plus vents and plenty of pockets although none large enough to hold a bottle of water or goggles.
As a learner I did bail several times as I panicked and I have to say that these ski pants really did a good job at keeping me warm and dry and also the thickness stopped me from being covered in bruises. They were comfortable to wear and looked good on the slopes. The vents came in handy when I needed to cool off a bit on a sunny day.
The one downside is the Velcro adjuster on the waist. I wanted to tighten it up a bit but as soon as I moved the Velcro came undone leaving me wishing I had bought a belt.
For the price they are really good value and I loved the colour.
