Do Not Book Through A 3rd Party Agent

Booked a cruise with Cruise 1st August 2020, for June 2021, cruises have been cancelled up to the 4th of June 21, cruise 1st want to charge an admin fee of £25.00 per person to change, but MSC do not charge! MSC & cruise 1st want to charge £100 per person to change the cruise if we want to sale after April 2022.

Not at all flexiable, unless we want to pay for a cruise in full, knowing this cruise is not going to go, and no return of our money for 180 days after the cruise has sailed!!!

Oh and if we cancel, Cruise 1st want to Charge £75.00 per cabin!!!

What a joke.

One piece of advise never book through a 3rd party it just complicates the issues.

All other cruises booked direct with Royal Caribbean/Celebrity & Disney, never had a problem, even with the fact of Royal Caribbean cancelling 2 of our cruises.

Not Booking With Cruise1st Australia Ever Again!

Not booking with Cruise1st Australia ever again. I know that they have definitively been refunded my deposit by the Cruise line. That happened in September 2020 but am yet to receive my refund from Cruise1st Australia as of today 17 December 2020 and still waiting! They just don't want to refund it and keep delaying with their excuses. DISGRACEFUL!! Over the years I have spent a lot of money through Cruise1st, but after this experience I will not place another booking through this organisation ever again. Plenty of companies out there that would be happy to accept my bookings!

Just Don't Expect Tickets Without A Struggle

First time booking with cruise 1st but not a repeatable experience,the booking staff very helpful but they would be wouldn' they wanting to take your money .We have a cruise with Royal Caribbean booked with them in October and eagerly anticipated we are supposed to travel on Sunday 6th May to Barcelona but despite calling customer services at least 5 times this week and asking for our tickets to be sent we are still waiting .I have also asked them to send them by e-mail still no tickets and its 3rd may tomorrow so going to try again tomorrow Thursday but still not knowing whether we will be going on a lovely cruise we have paid £3000 for so please think seriously about booking with this firm.

Sold Out Again

.We do not believe their TV channel, in our case when they advertise a real bargain it is never available. We will not be wasting anymore telephone calls.

We have had their advert on the TVs, their sales agent on the phone at the same time and they still tell us that we are mistaken,the only mistake we have made is telephoning them in the first place!

They Don't Give You The Onboard Credit They Promise You

We had a very bad experience 2 weeks ago with this cruise agence (Cruise 1st); We book a cruise on their website that included onboard credit, but they didn't say how much. Once onboard, we didn't receive any OBC and we tried to contact them by email many many times, but they didn't respond....Not a serious company at all !....We will never book with them again. ;

Not Good If Something Goes Wrong

Our cruise on Celebrity Millennium was cancelled 3 weeks before it was to start because of a problem with the ship. Cruise1st tried to get us on another cruise but they were all going to cost 50% more and some were shorter than the original so we asked for a refund. Celebrity Cruises said they would pay back the cost of the cruise plus extra for airfare re-booking costs. All good but they did not pay this for about 7 weeks and Cruise1st did not give any priority to getting the money earlier. It was left to a very nice employee who tried hard but was too busy at times to help and did not have the clout that the boss would have had. Then Cruise1st sat on it for 2 weeks. The biggest problem was they did not return phone calls or emails so we were left without any information about what was happening and increasing levels of stress. Celebrity Cruises were supposed to send us a voucher for 25% off another cruise but we have not seen or heard anything about this. We are not chasing this up because we do not intend to ever cruise with Celebrity. Phone calls to Cruise1st are at STD rates (no 1300 number) so it has cost a fair bit to get no information. They also did nothing to get the airfares refunded or even get a credit out of Virgin Airlines. The best they would do was open tickets which we could only use by going back to Cruise1st and we could only book flights of equal or higher value. Fortunately, the insurance company arranged for the tickets to be cancelled and the taxes refunded. But Virgin Airlines paid the money to Cruise1st who have sat on it for up to 3 weeks before paying it to us. Again, no phone or email information. After 10 weeks, the matter is nearly concluded. This has been neither fair nor pleasant - and don't forget I haven't had my holiday!
