Stay Away Or Kiss Goodbye To Your Money!
Booked accommodation & transfers with Alpha-rooms for August 2021 plus flights with EasyJet. EasyJet then pulled out of Newcastle so no flights but got our money transferred back. Cancelled accommodation & transfers with Alpha-rooms £800 deposit in Sept 2020. Nothing but fight with them since. Promised refund via a Sept email in 6-8 weeks but was then told it was for a credit note that I had to use against another booking with them or I'd have to wait till next August 2021 to request again for my money back. Stay clear because the way they've acted this year they'll be out of business next year. Customer support is rubbish - just keep telling you that's all there is so take it or leave it! If you book with these you might as well open your window & throw your money out into the street.
Dont Waste Your Time With Refund Contact Your Bank
Hotel room cancelled due to covid 19.
Asked for refund, contacted several times with no success. Told them if the refund was not processed we'd never book with them again.
No refund so I contacted my credit card provider to complete a section 75 claim.
The credit was back on my account within 10 days.
Well done Alpharooms, I will never book with you again.
Steer Clear Of This Company
Stay away from this companies alpharooms.com teletext holidays and truly travel all under the 1 umbrella. Due to Covid19 holiday cancelled refusing by law to refund deposits.stopped direct telephone line to contact them and 7 unanswered emails to customer relations. Hotel have confirmed by email that they have not received any payments off alpharooms
Wrong Rooms Which We Paid For
well were do I start I booked 7 days at cay beach princess in masplomasat the beginning of febuary and booked a superior room when I got there the hotel but us in a budget room and then tried to fob me of that this was a superior room. but they didn't now that I have stayed here before and then she told me they had overbooked the superior room and had none until Monday two days later.
I then phoned alharooms emergency number and they told me that they are very sorry and they will get onto the agent and get them to sent a voucher over within a hour to get this sorted 4 hour went passed now email after 4 more calls to the uk alpha rooms told me they were closed.
Monday morning came still now voucher after another three calls to aplharooms I was that fed up I put them on the phone and then was told by alpha rooms to pay the 200 euros out of my own money and they would pay me back.
I am still waiting on my compensation for the difference for the foirst two night and have not heard anything from them.
this is my third time with them and the last this situation was dealt with poorly.
Unsympathetic & Unhelpful
My husband booked a weekend stay in a hotel in Venice. I was then diagnosed with breast cancer and started treatment. Alpharooms refused to refund the booking (other companies were prepared to fully refund hotel and flight bookings under the circumstances despite T & C being non refundable). They advised us to wait until the date had passed and claim on our travel insurance as no show. No wonder travel insurance premiums are high! Customer services were a nightmare to contact and communicate with and my husband was told that people make up all sorts of things to get a refund, implying that this was what he was doing! I sincerely hope that none of them have to go through cancer treatment. It's a nightmare, not to mention loss of income, and to come across businesses with zero empathy makes it even harder.
Terrible Service
Terrible service. Booked two weeks all inclusive in a five star hotel by the coast and received all expected confirmation emails. Emailed me weeks later to inform that due to a technical issue they had reallocated me to a different hotel. This hotel was 4 star, lower rating on Trip Adviser, not on the coast and £250 cheaper than the hotel I had a confirmed booking with. As the hotel I had a confirmed booking with still has availability I expected them to sort the matter out and get me a room at the availably hotel at the price agreed. I can still purchase the same hotel for the same dates through their site as well as direct or with other companies. They have refused this instead suggesting I take a refund and pay the additional £250 to stay in the hotel I have a confirmed booking with. Buyer beware. .
Great Online Travel Agent
Alpha rooms was great for sorting us with everything from flights and accommodation to transfers to and from the airport. As this was our first time planning a holiday together, alpharooms made it run very smoothly.
Troublesome Website
I use alpharooms quite often but this time I nearly didn’t because every time I tried to go further than the ‘ choose room option ‘ it just buffered and kept returning to choose room option again and again, it took me half an hour to do a booking that should have only taken a few minutes
Easy Quick Bargain
Was my first time to book with this company after been Recommend by a friend. I found it so easy to use , plenty of places to Choose from and the price was really good after been shopping around on other Similar sites I found this website best Value for money . All Documents were sent to my email super fast after booking and all details are easy to follow and understand , if I could make one little Recommendation it would be to have a Option for hoilday insurance , other wise I can find no fault with this website and would Recommend to all my family and friends

My partner booked our holiday but has subsequently lost the itinerary number. How can we manage our account? Any attempt to contact alpha rooms by phone has a 35 min waiting time!
