Avoid! After contacting for some information on a hotel all I got was quotes with ZERO information, even on asking for further information on the hotel I got generated quotes from someone.I thought there would be a service element? A week later I got an email asking if I was going to take up one of the quotes and I responded asking for more information on the hotel ( as requested previously) and I haven't heard back - avoid! I booked elsewhere and am glad I did!
Nobody Bothers To Return Your Enquiry
Despite booking with them on two occasions before, I rang them three times this week and nobody has bothered contacting me back. I can only presume they don't want our business. No problem. Travel agents (even good ones -not Best at travel) are common as muck.
Please Read This Review Before Booking With This Company
This is the first time we have booked with BestAtTravel and the whole experience has been disappointing and stressful. We booked two family rooms at the Radisson Blu Azuri Resort and Spa for 1 week in December and paid upfront for it last Friday. On Monday we got a call back saying there was an "error" on their website and that the rooms were not available. The agent claimed that they sourced the rooms from an "external company" and they no longer had them. He offered us alternative at Preskil Beach Resort which is a four start resort and not a five star unlike Radisson for the same price! On further checking on their website they actually still had the Radisson Blu Azuri Resort and Spa advertised but at a higher price (£900 more for each room). When confronted the agent he changed the story to that they did have the rooms but this was now the price this "external company" was asking for!!! The travel agent who was dealing with our booking was arrogant and had unprofessional attitude from start to finish. Don't get me wrong we do understand things can go wrong with bookings however if a company was upfront, transparent and sympathetic I would not have been writing this review today. Due to the breakdown of trust we cancelled our booking from BestAtTravel and was told the refund won't be until 3 days after. I would recommend this company to consider changing their name as they certainly are not BEST AT TRAVEL!!!
Steer Clear Of Dharam Patel Who Is Head Of Sales
Booked a family trip to Vegas an Mexico. He did not book us any transfers in resort and did not book us any luggage allowance from vegas to Mexico. When we asked him about this he was rude and objectional. The man needs to go on some customer service workshops to know how he should speak to customers. He never resolved these issues and I had to book these things myself. This should not happen when booking a package!! Thank God I realised about the transfers before we left and could organise them. I would never book with this company again as long as this man worked there.
Appalling Service
I've called best at travel looking for a holiday to Sri Lanka, I've given them all the details and have heard nothing. Upon making my intital enquiry I was advised that she would call me back within 2 days. I hear nothing. So on day 3 I call her. She brings up my details and says I'll call you back in 5 mins. 5 hours and I'm still waiting! Guess you don't want my custom and that you really are not the best at travel so I'll go and take my custom elsewhere, to someone who really wants it!
Not Disappointed
I booked my son and daughter in laws honeymoon with Best at Travel and they never let me done. From my first phone call l have received great service and this continued.

Advertising 50% so I booked only to find out that it's not even 10% off !!

Booked this holiday for our family, total of 6 of us to celebrate a 60th birthday and 30th Wedding Anniversary. No problems before departure except that every hotel bar one that we chose was unavailable. PAID A LOT OF MONEY for one hotel for this reason. The minibus we had on the tour had insufficient working seat belts and it broke down. Nothing was done. Got a hotel change at the last minute in Agaba and when we said we were unhappy with the change, again nothing was done. This is more the fault of the company in Jordan, but having contacted Bestattravel during our stay and on my return I feel I am not getting satisfaction from the customer service person. It has now been 6 weeks since we got back and no progress has been made. Ultimately I believe nothing will be done which is down to Bestattravel
Poor After Sales - Holiday Did Not Include All The Extras
I had an ok honeymoon (not great) but a lot of the things promised in the hotel were not given. I wrote to them afterwards to let them know - I never got a response. I then filled out their survey and after it was published they said they would come back to me. Obviously they never did and every time I try to follow up I get no response. I tried private messaging and wall posting on FB but no response and no approval to my post. someone else said it - once they have your money, that's it!
Absolutely Fantastic!
The staff were really helpful. I am booking my honeymoon for next year, the person contacted the hotel to make special arrangements for us. From what I can tell from the people giving a poor review, I get the impression that you should be careful to make sure that you read the terms and conditions carefully before you book. They even contacted me to let me know that the flights were going to be slightly more expensive that originally stated before they went ahead with the booking. They are probably the best travel company I've dealt with (and I regularly travel around the world for work!)
