I have tried to use this company twice and both my buying the ticket had been accepted and twice they contacted me saying that after all they had other booked it and you need to pay another sum of money some of money so basically you think you're buying at the very good price it all goes through and oh dear dear get a phone call sorry it has been other booked you need to pay whatever amount it was I did go through for one but the second time I can so completely because you feel your being done. It is their way of saying we are the cheapest out of mamundo or skyscanners but at the end of the day when you get to choose them they increase it straight away

I thought I'd found an amazing deal on flights to Sydney, booked it online only to have an email saying declined. Hmm... alarm bells. I had read reviews and trust pilot etc mainly good.

Call customer service, oh let me contact the airline... oh we are sorry that price has now gone but we can offer you another for £200 more, tbey said all the seats are pretty much gone. Me thinking well if id paid £23 per seat the whole plane was avaliable. No thanks! AVOID.

We are arranging a family holiday to the USA to meet up with other family members. He helped us book flights so that we could travel with short duration and together to help with children and at a great price.

He has been very patient, polite, and very professional.

Booked on-line after redirecting from JetCost website. Crystal took money for flight. Then booking 'failed' and had to contact them. They then said price had increased due to 'taxes'.

The website offers a full refund for cancellation within the first 24 hours after booking and, so, could have backed out but, of course, it takes a few days for the money to credit. For some people that may be a problem if they want to book somewhere else. So, effectively you have little choice but to pay up.

However, I did pay the additional amount because the price was still competitive but it was a Faustian pact because I believe the firm offered me a false price knowing that their business practice meant there was a good chance I would not cancel.

(The same flight was still available on their website several hours later at the same (false) price.)

I think this practice is fairly common.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service is non existant. Cannot deal with or resolve complaints. Add on extra fees then when you complain they magically disappear. This company attempts to extort money anyway possible. Numerous promised callbacks never happened. Ignored emails.

I will never use this company again.

Asked me to pay £80 ontop of original payment for flights within the original terms and conditions... basically mis sold a product. Complained... Refund agreed.. 3 weeks later... emails and calls... no reply.. apparently there's a 'problem' with their bank! I'm hundreds of pounds out of pocket and having to dispute payment through my bank as crystal travel are unreliable and dishonest.  Avoid.

I called this company while my father was in the hospital as I needed to extend my stay. They supposedly credited me a refund for the ticket ($1558) but also charged me $200 cancellation fee.

When I called the airline they had no idea what I was talking about as the refund amount was much much lower than what crystal travels told me ($294)

I called crystal travels and the person I spoke to wasn’t in and they would let me speak to a manager directly saying that someone will call me back in 30 minutes. I called at 2:10pm they called me back at 3:22pm.

after asking me the same questions again the supervisor said he’ll call me back in 10 minutes.....3:54pm I’m calling back to see what’s happening and again was told the supervisor was on another call and will call me back (why is he on another call when he should be dealing with my issue). I tried again at 4:30pm when no one called me and was told the same thing but I refused and said I’ll wait on hold.

The supervisor comes back and says he can book the flight for me but he doesn’t have for what amount and asks for my last name again and wants to call me back in “2 minutes”

I’d had enough and told him how horrible this experience has been especially since my father passed away yesterday and I’ve had to deal with his incompetence and the airlines just to be able to go home.
