Edreams Is The Biggest Sham To Date, How They Are

eDreams is the biggest sham to date, how they are still operating is beyond me. They have been flagged for years on their horrible service, fake tickets and bad reputation for refusing to refund customers. I absolutely regret not verifying their reputation before booking. I wouldn't be shocked if they bought most of the reviews here. There's no way.

It's been over 8 months now for me since they left me high and dry. I'm stuck in a different country, got laid off my job in my country, suffered depression and life ruined because of eDreams.

Their system would not let me cancel my flight and for their convenience, they marked me as 'no show', when I asked what informs their decision to say I am no show I don't get sound answers. After blowing up their email, they kept asking me to wait for resolution, wait for refund that the flight is considering but it never happened. At this point I was slipping into depression & could no longer fight but I'm back & now they will pay for what I have suffered psychologically because of what this did to me.

I want my money eDreams & stop telling me about airlines. This has nothing to do with airlines but EVERYTHING to do with your web interface which would not let me cancel and get my refund! I won't stop until I get compensated. I won't stop spreading the word about your service, I will go on every review platform and social media page with links from other people too as proof!

Double Charge To My Credit Card

Warning ‼️ this is a bad ticketing platform ‼️ don’t be attracted by their low price, it’s only a beginning of the nightmare ‼️

I successfully bought an air ticket and everything seemed settled. After a month they used my credit card details and charge me the second time without my knowledge. I immediately reported to my credit card company to terminate the card and put this amount in dispute.

-Falsely advertise a price listed for their flights. I purchased a return flight for €25 as listed on their website only to be charged another €44.80 later by the airline.

- You can sign up to prime with the click of a button but to cancel you must call up and waste 20 minutes of your life talking to the desperate eastern sales teams trying to keep you on prime. Offering you the sun, moon and stars.

- Very incompetent outsourced staff who cant speak English will transfer you over and over to other incompetent staff who also don't know what they are doing.

- Don't bother making a real complaint with eDreams as you are sent the same company jargon copy and paste from a script. I sent two different complaints and received the same answers. They offered so solution, no refund, no explanation.

- They hide behind “terms and conditions” jargon because you as a customer are going to read 40 pages of literature when you are trying to buy what was advertised as a £25 flight.

Save yourself, time, money, heartache by going somewhere with a reputation and competent staff

*UPDATE*

I received email correspondence with an eDreams representative called Sumaiya. It was very clear that she reviewed my case extensively and understood all the errors that transpired. This agent sent me an email outlining everything i said above and then later defending her prime cancellation support team as their purpose is to "inform" me of deals when I in fact called the cancellation hotline services.

No resolution was offered, no refund, not even an apology. The comment below from eDreams that they "take this matter seriously" could not be further from the truth.

This email from eDreams has confirmed what I already know. The company has a cult like culture, focused on keeping the team protected rather than supporting customers, their staff are incompetent and most definitely outsourced, they only care about company image and not the customer.

You have been warned, stay away and save yourself all the hassle I have had to endure. Good luck!

I Booked My Flight Ticket In January To Tirana For

I booked my flight ticket in January to Tirana for the 7th March with Lufthansa.Lufthansa canceled the flights due to strike.I claimed my refund with Edreams as I booked with them,that was also what Lufthansa staff told ne.I filled out the forms,got reply and at the end of April someone will contact me.Its August now I tried to ring them,no answer.I can't email them again as the reference number doesn't exist anymore.

There is no way to contact them.

Please,do never book anything with them.

You will never get your money back that you are entitled to.They do everything to not contact them.

Absolutely horrible company that should beshout down.

Avoid. Please read the newspapers. Do not fall for this Company. You have ZERO PROTECTION!!!!! Took €2,120 from elderly couple almost 80 years old. My partners father had to cancel next day due to heart problem. We had paid insurance with them aswell. They literally took the lot!! Unreal. Incident occurred last year. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE NO EMPATHY AND THEY ARE 100% RUTHLESS!!! Now because of my negative review, they have just reached out for "More Information" EDreams did not want to know anything regarding this case prior to my negative review. I am prepared for more "STONEWALLING" by EDreams. Once THEY GET - YOUR MONEY, it's NEVER coming back!!!! I booked a ticket to fly in Aug Lisbon Geneva.last week TAP cancelled return abd offered an alternative at 06.05 which I refused Edreams told me if I didn't take they would cancel with no refund.

Terrible Customer Experience

I received an email from eDreams explaining saying that they had taken £89.99 from my bank for a VIP service that I apparently signed up for. I asked how did I know about the “free trial” I signed up for and the response was ‘because I selected the cheaper flights’ and that I would have known about it because they sent an email. The email in question was apparently sent alongside multiple other emails confirming my flights/itenary and various other things.

The customer journey is not good, it doesn’t explain properly what you are signing up for as whereas their customer service representative was polite, they are not helpful at all. They have now said I am signed up to them as a VIP, however the customer experience is far from it. They have offered a partial refund but “company policy” said they won’t refund me in full. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were unavailable for 2 hours

Booked A Return Flight To Toyko With Insurance Jus

Booked a return flight to Toyko with insurance just incase of a required change of flight time. Which we needed due to airline moving schedule. eDreams organised an alternative flight without much issue (albeit terrible communication) which you have to pay in full and reclaim via the insurance. "BUT" eDreams will not supply an invoice for you to make a claim with "THEIR" insurance. after dozens of requests and getting in touch with human via webchat (twice) who insisted it would be sorted and had escalated it to the highest level "NOTHING" so it looks like I will not get a refund. Please beware when booking with insurance.

I Bought A Flight Througj Edreams To Kenya For 158

I bought a flight througj edreams to Kenya for 1580 euros. Etihad cancelled the flight. Not Me. So I expected to get a full refund from edreams. No chance. They only gave me back 1100 euros and kept the rest. Through no fault of my own I have lost over 400 euros. I could understand it if it was me that cancelled. But no, it was the airline. What a shabby, greedy company edreams are. I so wish I had read the reviews before I gave them my money
