Took Unauthorised Payment

We were booking a Baltic cruise which was leaving from Copenhagen. We had made up our minds to take the cruise and were exploring flights to Copenhagen. The agent, Martin Owens, said he needed my credit card number to hold the reservation for the cruise but that no payment would be taken. Martin couldn't obtain the flights for the same price I found online and he was going to look further into to see if he could get the same flights. The next thing I knew he had charged my card for the cruise without asking or informing me. From that moment whenever I called him he would not answer - he obviously knew he had done wrong. Before that he would always answer my calls. He must have been afraid I was going to book the cruise elsewhere (which I wasn't) but that gives him no right to charge my card without permission. This was a couple of years ago now but it makes me so angry when I think about it that I had to put it in a review. The cruise was fantastic and the tickets and everything came through ok - just avoid the underhand sleazeball Martin Owens of World Pride Travel (Future Travel).

Future Travel Are Not A Company I Would Recommend

Future Travel are not a company I would recommend they are people working from home with very little knowledge.

It would appear Ramadam is only a local religious festival and should not affect anyones holiday and is not worth mentioning according to their customer service and agent called Jenny.

The agent read the wrong review about the hotel we were staying at, did not advise anyone regarding medical needs nor that most places would be closing early due to Ramadam.

It seems a spoilt holiday is worth very little in their eyes and neither is honesty.

lol did this person want to take the travel agent on holiday aswell in case there were anymore nasty little surprises?! In this day and age with the internet and so much info available who would book a holiday to muslim country without first doing at least a little research?! Same person is probably one that complains there is no english bacon and sausage on thier breakfast menu. If you dont like to respect different cultures or bother to research them before you choose to holiday in their country then best off staying in England

I Tried To Book A Holiday As A Single Traveller Wi

I tried to book a holiday as a single traveller with Future Holidays but although the price was £417 and said on the web page 'Price includes single occupancy supplements' when I tried to book, more costs were added including single occupance supplements bring the total cost up to £750!!! Can somebody confirm if this is false advertising?

So, I called their booking department and the girl was really abrupt. She said that everybody bases holidays on two persons staying and made me feel like I was an oddball for travelling alone. Then when I asked for her name she refused to give it to me and asked me what I wanted her name for. I said so that I could quote it but she refused to identify herself. I think she knew she would be in trouble if I reported her rudeness!!

Won't bother with these guys, and would not reccommend them to anyone else!!

I Have Booked A Couple Of Times Through Future Tra

I have booked a couple of times through Future Travel, with Clare Gregory, she was recommended by a friend who always books through her. I gave her the details of the sort of holiday i was looking for, and a budget. I couldnt have been found a better holiday. Clare was friendly yet professional at all times, and sent a welcome home card to check everything had been ok. So thank you Clare for a lovely holiday, will be intouch soon for another holiday.

Just Returned From A Week In Cavtat Croatia. Fligh

Just returned from a week in Cavtat Croatia. Flights with Easyjet from Liverpool and Dubrovnik both ways early. Due to end of season, on arrival upgraded to a 4 Star hotel, also given All Inclusive. Not bad for £240 pp.

This is the 5th holiday we have had with Future, agent KAREN MILSOM.

Last year went to Nerja, Spain, she got us a car for the same price as transfer cost £60 should have been a Corsa, ended up a brand new Focus and a free full tank.

Karen did us proud with a trip for 4 to Canada, Thomas Cook direct to Vancouver from Manchester. All hotels pre booked, tours to Victoria (on a luxury bus for 70 with only 9) and 2 days on the Rockey Mountaineer (all meals and 5 star hotel enroute included) to Banff, then up to Lake Louis and the Ice fields and return from Calgary. Everything went perfectly, on arrival a hotels rooms were ready for us, we felt like royalty.

Had a cruise 18 day cruise from Liverpool to Senegal and Cape Verde islands last march.

Just booked another cruise with them to the Baltic and St Petersburg, again from Liverpool, we are confident this will be without a hitch.

Went on a Caribbean cruise with one of the big companies, a disaster, they booked our flights with our wonderfull British Airways, yes! they left our bags behind, spent Christmas 06 with nothing to wear, could not go ashore or for meals (not dressed apropriatly) sat in our cabin for most of 2 weeks, they let us out for buffet meals on deck. Ship Office and Family tried to contact BA and failed. Bags came to our home 6 days after return. Made a claim against BA, reply "We do not compensate for spoilt holidays, if you take it further we will sue" Gave us 2 discount vouchers off next BA flight. NO WAY BA!

Our Advice: ALWAYS BOOK WITH FUTURE FOR THE PERFECT HOLIDAY.

Booked a holiday with Future Travel to the Royal Garden Turkey, the agent recommended the hotel as a hidden gem and they were completely correct. We knew exactly what had been booked for us and everything ran as clockwork, are looking to return later in the year and will only be calling our personal travel advisor at Future Travel.

I Called Teletext For A Holiday And Spoke To A Rep

I called teletext for a holiday and spoke to a representative from Future travel. She found me exactly what I wanted at the best price I had been quoted. She went out of her way to provide me with all the information I needed and even called the day before we were due to set off to wish us a good holiday. On our return she enquired to see if everything had gone smoothly which it had. She had found us a perfect hotel and she was right about the star rating not always reflecting the service and comfort of the hotels. Since then we have always called Future Travel in the first instance when we are looking for a holiday and they have always given us 5 star service, saves me the hassle of shopping around everywhere and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Future Travel, in fact several family and friends have also used it and been really impressed with the prices aswell as the service.

I Booked A Holiday To Turkey Requesting Flights Wi

I booked a holiday to Turkey requesting flights with Thomas Cook via Future Holidays. The holiday was advertised on Teletext. I spoke to a man called Tom Starr. I stated several times that I wanted a double room, to fly with Thomas Cook, in flight meals, baggage allowance and transfers. I was told I would receive a confirmation email. I did not receive an email. When I got a written confirmation it had no baggage allowance, no transfers and I was booked onto a turkish budget airline. I have phoned numerous times and received no help.

extremely rude staff told me they are looking into it following many calls and being left on hold for up to 20 mins at a time before being disconnected. Tom Starr said he booked via Thomas Cook, but Future say not. I was told calls were recorded and that these were being listened to however they now deny this ( I know I had booked Thomas Cook flights and had stated this).

Looked for a cruise with chap at Future Travel, Instant Cruises. Service was really poor, agent abrupt, was not listening and pushed overpriced offers I was not really interested in. Would not reccommend it.
