this seems to be a common problem, everyone complains about. and they just dont care. if you want to lose your money. use go to gate that i used through Rome2Rio.
when booking my flight through Rome2Rio that i have done for years, without a problem.
this time i thought I would use PayPal thinking it would be safer. when booking my first flight from London to Bangkok. every time i would go into there PayPal link, as i chose pay in three the full amount would come off. then the money come off my account . half an hour later it would reverse, this happened many times. clearly a glitch in there system. eventually i went on by paying the full amount and it went through. then i wanted to book a flight to Koh Samui. we were traveling with friends and were deciding which dates to fly i had two tabs open, waiting for us to decide which one. i was in one tab, i realised i was in the wrong date and the price had doubled and tried to go back. and the transaction went through, but it never reversed and tickets were issued. i contacted them immediately. explaining the situation. they then responded saying they were to investigate, but would take 4 months (good customer service) just a ploy to keep your money. i then booked another flight on the correct days, trusting this would be above board. i contacted them a few times and was told to wait to the 10th of April. nothing happened, I started calling every day, been told they have escalated it. nothing was happening i asked for why there is a delay. then all the stories started from they are busy with it and they would call me back in 24 hours, this never happened. then i was told they are waiting for a answer from Bangkok airlines, then i was told they cant refund me till they refund them. i then contacted Bangkok Airlines who knows nothing about it.4 and half months later they have done nothing to resolve the matter. then they told me to contact my bank, who told me the vendor must refund me, the same with Bangkok Airlines who told me only the vendor can refund me, the vendor must open a case with them, then they can do something about it. there is no intention from Go to Gate to refund me, i have paid for six return flight and i am only using two. because they have made no effort to resolve the matter, there intention was to defraud me. this must be allowed to happen hard working people to be shammed out of there money, DO NOT USE GO TO GATE they will take your money.
Avoid Gotogate Not Book Flight With Them
Be careful of this travel agency they are shammer they have hidden charges!!!! I have booked a flight tickites and after I did the payment the details of the flight been changed that will not suit to me and I didn’t been notified that the details and the time of the flight been changed. The duration of the flight that I booked and paid for was 9 hours from London Standsted airpots to Istanbul, after I processed the payment the duration of the flight been changed to 30 hours transit, which is absolutely horrible as I have a disabled son can not stay 30 hours in transit. When I have asked for the reasons and to cancel I have been charged £136 for that. They change the details to increase the price of the tickets after you been traded by them. booking number is Order 1009-326-997
Horrible Service
I tried to change the date of our return flight and was sent a payment link with no date on so I wrongly assumed it was for the date I had discussed with the agent but it was for a day earlier. I immediately contacted Go toGate via their chat service and received rude and unprofessional replies until eventually one agent investigated and agreed it had been a mistaken on their part and assured me it would be escalated and resolved within 24 hours. Instead I received a dismissive email from his manager to which I replied to three times and each time was ghosted. At the time we were on a remote trek in the Himalayas with limited internet service and actually had to cut our trip short in order to ensure we made the flight we didn’t want to be on. We were also booked on a 10 hour layer over even though I asked for the flight with a minimum stop over and this was also ignored. Thankfully the airline itself was able to change it at the terminal. I will never book with GotoGate again. Awful service after paying for an expensive flight, expensive flight change for the wrong date and no responsibility taken by the company.
Do Not Trust This Company. They Will Take Your Mon
Do not trust this company. They will take your money, not actually book your flight or your paid extra assigned seats, and you'll find a wonderful surprise at the airport that nothing was done. Communicating with the company they will say "human error, but cannot give refund because no refund policy". Please do not risk using them.
Do Not Use Gotogate
Please please do not use Gotogate for airline tickets, holidays - anything. They are awful. I have been trying to cancel my airline tickets for almost a month as the airline (Loganair) changed our outward flight, meaning I would have to pay for extra nights etc. GTG have been utterly appalling. Their system has STILL not updated any changes made. I have explained the situation to them so many times but they still do not acknowledge that there is an issue. They have told me I need to deal with the airline, so I have and they have agreed a full refund. But GTG have still not actioned this request. My flight is less than 2 weeks away and their system still shows the wrong dates. And still shows that I am flying. They have said they are dealing with it but the airline has categorically denied any discussion with them. So here I am £700 down, expected to accept a flight back from Norway when I can't get there in the first place.
I implore you do not use them. Don't believe them when they say they are 'dealing with it'. Appalling service. Terrible systems. Not responsive to requests for help. Repetitive with same answers although they have not done anything about it. Not willing to carry out their duties as an intermediary to airlines.
Not Fit For Purpose - Inflexible And Outdated
We booked a flight for a party of 8 with fast passes via GTG. However, before flying, we had to change one of the passenger names. GTG states this has to be done via the airline, which we did. However, the GTG app doesn't update to reflect the new passenger's name. Therefore, we were not able to use the fast pass I purchased as the name on the fast pass was still the old one.
We Bought Tickets From This Travel Agency Back In
We bought tickets from this travel agency back in June. Inadvertently we missed out the middle name of 2 passengers whilst booking the tickets. We called the advice the agent who confirmed that as the booking was done a few minutes Shai they were in a position to cancel the whole booking free of charge and we will get a full refund. Based on this suggestion we cancelled all five tickets. They deducted £175 and refunded the rest. We have been chasing them for over 2 months now. They have listened to the call and have agreed the agent is wrong. At one point they even agreed to reforge money. We’ve been calling every few days and all they say is give us 72 hours and someone will revert. To date nobody had ever called us back and they clearly have no intention of refunding the money. Pls pls pls don’t use them. Super dodgy
Booked A Flight From Chiangmai To Singapore And It
Booked a flight from Chiangmai to Singapore and it was a connecting flight.
First flight: 2UC8CS 13:05 - 14:25 had a delay big time and resulted me unable to catch on my second connecting flight - 47TJTX.
GoToGate's reply was they will help me get a refund and it's all just talk. They ignored me thereafter, replies to my emails were just as bad. All they claimed is the first flight's delay did not affect my second flight and hence no refund.
This is total sham and clearly a planned sham by GotoGate. Look it up alot more people are getting shammed by this Airline daily.
Don't Book With Them
Worst service ever. NEVER EVER BOOK THROUGH THEM. I bought a flight with a value of over +800 euros on Monday. On Tuesday afternoon (the flight was scheduled for Wednesday), I received an email stating that the flight was not confirmed and I needed to make the payments again...I checked, and my booking was never confirmed. I checked the flight cost, and the cost was + 400 euros higher for the same flight. I first called customer service via chat, but they could not even understand the problem; they said I needed to wait for a reimbursement. I called the call center in Italian, and they were not even able to help...indeed they told me that they couldn't do anything and it was almost not their problem. Then I called English customer service. They were nicer; they explained to me that apparently, the airline company had an issue but not clear if this was because the price in the meantime was higher .... and that this can happen and they can notify you up to 24 hours later. In short not able to support me....even if not my fault. But their problem managing the booking. Now I'm without a flight, and the only way to leave is to pay 1/3 more than the price I already paid. By the way, they couldn't even support me via phone with another booking since they don't have the service.

We live in UK and bought air tickets from GOTOGATE in May, everything was confirmed until the day before travel. They sent us a cancellation email on 08JUL just one day before travelling and now refusing to take responsibility. We contacted them several times but they are blaming airline and told us to contact Airline. We called the Airline many times and they asked us to contact the travel agent as we bought tickets from them. We contacted UK Citizens Advice consumer service reference number ZC17495967 but they referred us to European citizens advice bureau because GOTOGATE is governed by Swedish Law. We have contacted them and waiting for their reply.
We were supposed to fly on 09JUL from BHX but GOTOGATE sent us an email on 08JUL that the airline has cancelled the booking. We called them and the airline multiple times to give us alternative flights but no one helped us. GOTOGATE were blaming the airline and the airline said we need to contact GOTOGATE. We had to buy another oneway three tickets right away from another airline which was very costly (paid £3060) and sadly, we also missed our EID day!
At the time of return, we checked the airline's website for the return booking just to make sure if everything was okay but we came to know that there was no booking for KHI-IST-BHX on 06AUG. We again contacted GOTOGATE several times and they said Airline had cancelled our booking. We were in KHI at that time and we went to the Turkish airline office. They told us that GOTOGATE never paid them for this booking! They could not help us as this was purely the travel agent's mistake or negligence and no more seats were left!
Again We had to pay a hell of amount to buy oneway three tickets from another airline KHI-DXB-BHX 07AUG

We called the GOTOGATE call centre several times and all of them were unprofessional! They were not able to resolve the issue and kept blaming the airline only. We spent three hours in the Turkish airline office Karachi and they showed us everything, that they had done with our booking. Please do not buy ticket from gotogate as this company is not a member of ABTA and/or not associated with any other UK body. They have not refunded us anything at all!
