Hotels, itinerary and experiences were totally not as described by their specialist guide - we can only tell you that we would definitely not recommend the company as so many parts of the holiday of a life time were misrepresented in a multitude of aspects - we were not told the truth about length of journeys, best hotels to stay in or informing us of well known site seeing options on our doorstep even though they are meant to be specialists!

I'm not one to usually write reviews, as I assume that it is peoples job to give good service... That being said, I could not bring myself to not write a review as my wife and I had the best Honeymoon ever and it was all thanks to Imagine Travel / Imagine Africa but mostly to our sales consultant. 

Not only did she tailor our trip to fit in with all our whims (and there were a few) but she also managed to speak to both Safari camps (Saruni Samburu and Kilima Camp) as well as the Almanara Boutique Hotel and get us complimentary upgrades in each one!

Both the safari camps were amazing, each for different reasons:

Saruni Samburu was very nice and hot, had amazing rooms with gr4eat views, superbly knowledgeable guides (we saw a Leopard and her cub on the first afternoon), fantastic chefs (trained in Italy) and the most welcoming manager. All of this with hardly any other visitors made for a great stay...

Kilima camp was completely different, in a brilliant way! Tented camps a stones throw from the Mara (10 minutes from camp and you were already looking at Lions). Again the standard of food was fantastic, our guide (aka The Cat Man) could spot lions from 1km away, not to mention the rest of the camp staff who made us feel very much part of the family.

Finally Almanara, beach hotel heaven! Again, complimentary upgrade to a fantastic suite, hardy any other guests so the chef cooked whatever we wanted (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and you have to have the lobster thermidor - truly amazing! The beach was the whitest I have ever seen and the Indian ocean was basically warm all the time. We spent 7 days here, enjoying the food and lolling around by the beach or in the pool. Once again our stay was made that little bit nicer by our daily chats with the manageress and her recommendations of activities / foods!

Honeymoon over, but we will definitely be using Imagine Africa / Imagine Travel again and are already talking about booking the Almanara Boutique Hotel for some more Winter Sun

Imagine Africa did a great job organising a mostly safari type visit in April 2015 and a second visit all of September to South Africa. Two weeks in Namibia were superb especially the balloon ride over the dunes from the Sossusvlei Desert Lodge and the Hoanib Lodge from where we saw the stunning Skeleton Coast. Both visits we stayed at the very fine Cape Grace Hotel in Cape Town. Leopard Hills and sister Lodge at Madikwe had excellent safaris with great service. The second visit was to the the Strandloper Hotel at West Cape for the amazing vistas of wild flowers. Bushmans Kloof in the Cederberg gave us a wonderful time in stunning scenery. The Marine Hotel at Hermanus was luxurious with good whale viewing. The Plettenberg Hotel on the Garden Route allowed access to whale watching and delightful National Parks. Without exception all the hotels were a very high standard and we would gladly go back. Thank you Imagine Africa (Imagine Travel).

Me and my husband recently returned from our 2 1/2 week honeymoon to Tanzania and Zanzibar which we booked with Imagine Africa. Our trip was extremely well organised and exactly what we wanted thanks to Imagine Africa. They really listened to what we wanted and provided us with loads of advice. We spent 3 nights in Serena River lodge which was really lovely. Great food, delightful attentive staff and a really nice lodge. Our guide was excellent and we saw loads of animals. A particular highlight was fishing on the river which was part of our boat safari. We then went to Ruaha where we spent 3 nights at Mdonya Old River Camp which was a real bush experience (animals wondered around the camp). The food was delicious and the atmosphere in the camp was very welcoming and authentic. On Safari we saw a vast number of animals including leopards and cheetah which was amazing. The scenery was also beautiful. We ended our trip in Breezes in Zanzibar which was a beautiful relaxing hotel. I would highly recommend Imagine Africa and would definitely book with them again.

We have just come back from the most fantastic 2 weeks in Kenya where we stayed in the Samburu - at Saruni - which was breathtaking, Naibor Camp in the Masai Mara - camping at its absolute best and then Almanara Villas at Diani on the Indian ocean. Matt - our Imagine Africa representative - clearly listened to all our thoughts about the holiday and chose this itinerary for us that would give us a variety of landscapes and experiences. He was also very reassuring when we worried about safety before our trip. We didn't need to worry - the camps were so remote and the people everywhere were so friendly and welcoming. All our transfers went smoothly, the food was amazing - really top quality, the staff were always helpful and professional. We could not have been in better hands and, given that we really did have the most brilliant time, we would happily book with Imagine Travel again.

I travel 4/5 times a year to mainly out of the ordinary places with various companies. I have never used Imagine Travel before but they were the first company to respond to my initial query regarding a tailor made tour for three of us to Venezuela. Not only did they respond immediately with an excellent itinerary but they undercut the competition.

I was sceptical how they could do this tour for the price but not only was the trip expertly arranged, they also managed to do it using top quality guides, drivers and accommodation. The other point which impressed me that all queries were answered in a friendly and efficient manner As far as the three of us are concerned this is how a travel company should operate, friendly and efficient manner.

There is no doubt that I will use Imagine again, as will the friends I travelled with. We have all recommended in turn to other people will know and in my experience word of mouth is the best form advertising!

We booked part of our honeymoon with Imagine Travel and I can honestly say from the very first phone call to landing back in the UK everything was catered for. The team were responsive and listened to our requirements. The location and tour were spectacular. Guatemala is just superb, with a range of stays across this beautiful country we were able to gain an insight into the culture. All transport and guides spoke English and were able to provide us with the relevant information and answered all of our questions. Lake Atitilan was breathtaking and a must for anyone who wants to see and stay at one of the Worlds most spectacular lakes. Belize was everything we hoped it would be - crossing the border was interesting but did not take too long on foot! The Belize guides were excellent, providing useful insight into the mayan tribes and local traditions. We have been on tailor made tours with other companies, but I for one would recommend Imagine Travel and we are looking forward to booking our next adventure with this on the ball company.

Eight flights, three hotels, lots of excursions and "handoffs" to other guides and/or hotels--and it all went without a hitch! We would recommend Imagine Latin America--and likely use them again. From the Atacama desert to Santiago and then to Easter Island, we stayed in pretty terrific hotels, ate some pretty terrific food and saw magical and mystical and beautiful terrain and monuments/statues and culture, and more. Lots of hiking and biking and the outdoors that was just, well, amazing! Imagine Latin America did a great job, with lots of recommendations and suggestions. It kept in constant contact with us, leading up to the trip. We loved everything about the trip and about Chile!

My husband and I worked with a lady at Imagine Africa to plan our honeymoon. We changed our minds about 100 times and she was extremely patient and helpful in guiding us towards the best countries, accommodations and overall options. When we first started working together, she asked a few questions around our travel style and budget; and all of her recommendations were in line with exactly what I was looking for. I was impressed that she had been to most of the locations to which she was referring us and could personally speak to the best times to visit, weather, and other nuances that are difficult to understand simply through internet research. Ultimately, she arranged for us to go to Olakira in Serengeti and then Raz Nungwi in Zanzibar. Both were incredible! Olakira is the hands down best vacation accommodation I have ever had. The game drive guides were unbelievably knowledgeable and each day we had a customized drive to see exactly what we wanted. The nightly bonfires and excellent dinner with other travelers created a lovely ambiance. And Raz Nungwi was just as fantastic. One evening they even put together a special dinner for the two of us on the beach complete with flowers, candles and a singing / dancing performance. It was truly a very memorable and special vacation, and I am grateful to Imagine for all of their help in making it happen!

Initially, we planned to use American Express Platinum Travel for our entire journey around the tip of South America. It soon became clear that their agents had neither the understanding nor the time to customize the trip in a way that would make it truly memorable, for us.

Searching the internet for ideas, we contacted several travel agencies. It was a gamble, pinning the outcome of our vacation to a company that we didn't know; and one that was also relatively new to the industry. The good news....we chose Imagine Latin America.....and our gamble paid off.....big time! From the outset our experience with Imagine Latin America was positive. Every person we spoke to was professional, responsive and convivial. Follow up and travel information was right on point. We felt they had our interests at heart. Few companies have the impressive corporate culture evidenced by Imagine Latin America.

The trip wasn't absolutely perfect. I might have upgraded one or two hotels, not because they didn't reflect what we asked for, but because of personal preferences. All else was great, especially the guides, which was very important to us.

I am happy to give Imagine Latin America a five star rating..... I expect to use their services in the future....you should too!!
