Fleeced Us For £2000

After thomas cook went bust they fleeced us for £2000 for the exact same booking. Flights were safe as they were with easy jet so charged the extra for the hotel. The hotel confirmed in writing the price was the same as before so the added extra £2000 was just greed!

Do Not Use This Company!!

My husband and i recently booked with JLM 'The Flourish Wellness Resort where as stated rest and relaxation reigns supreme'.When we received conformation for our holiday it was for the Cooks Club where it states 'This hotel is designed for a fun lively holiday with an all day DJ'.

As my husband and i are both in our 70s and i am disabled this is not at all suitable.

To top it all the hotel is still Being Built !!

We have asked for the £400 deposit we paid to be refunded but JLM have refused.

Rude!!

Me and my boyfriend booked a holiday to corfu, we got told at the time of booking that all rooms did not have a balcony and air conditioning. But they could guarantee us this at an extra price of £75. So we paid it. On the holiday we realised all rooms did infact have a balcony and airconditioning , so I emailed them when we got back asking for a refund of the £75. No response!! I left a review on Feefo , they responded basically making me out to be an idiot , saying we got offered both options and we chose to pay with the 2nd option. Im slightly confused to why we there are two options to begin with as all rooms have air conditioning and a balcony. We even checked this with the owner of the hotel as we got very friendly with him. I can not respond to the reply on my review which has made me angry, so I rang them, they said they will respond to my email within 28 days. Funny how they don't take 28 days to take the money , no that's instant. Im so frustrated with this company as they will not speak to me I just have to wait and wait and wait. I will never use them again and I would advise any one else to stay away aswell, they have tried to make extra money for them selves and now they will not speak to me. Where has the customer service gone these days??? It seems JML TRAVEL don't know the meaning of the word, they are a disgrace!

Rang JLM two years ago for a holiday in Gambia as I had been recommended them by a friend. The two members of staff I spoke to offered a first class service, both of them had fantastic knowledge and had probably forgotten more about Gambia then any other agent I spoke too!

They give us a number of different choices offering both the pros and cons about each hotel and when I mentioned one that I had looked at they told me to stay well clear of it.... looking at review sites online I can now see why. They offered me a better deal at a better quality hotel and after consulting with my wife we booked.

We have been back to Gambia three times since and still speak to them for advice. We have also been to Cuba, Cape Verde and Mexico and cannot fault the first class service we have received from all the staff at JLM.

Highly recommended for a personal service and their prices are hard to beat too!

Be Very Carefull When Booking

phoned up about holiday to sunnybeach advertised on internet.holiday was £258pp for 14 nights spoke to one of there booking staff they said they were busy they would phone me back.1 hour passed no call so i phoned again told them i had phoned earlier he appoligised and asked what holiday it was and i told him.he then said there were 2 diffrent flights 1 stopped in paris the other was direct.as i have bad back and legs i said i would take the direct.he then said it would be £379pp that included baggage and transfers i spoke to my wife and she said just book itso i did.then i recieved paper work sent to my email and i noticed the had booked my hotel for 14 nights but flights were for 7 nights so i phoned them again 4 diffrent phone calls later i was told that the 14 nights were a human error and it was only 7 nights i had booked.they sent me a copy of the recording and i had only booked the 7 nights but when i listned to it he does say 27th and not the 5th as there was other stuff going on with him i dint notice it was only the 7 nights.i asked if they would change it to 14 nights as there was human error on both sides .they said they could give me 10 nights if i paid £248 extra and £335 for 14 nights.i can not afford that so i have to stick to 7 nights .be very careful and listen to every word they say.dont get caught out like i did.will never book with them again.

Great Booking Experience!

Checked out JLM Travel online. Looked at company history & reviews as we didn't know much about them apart from seeing their name come up on internet searches.

Wanted to query a couple of things so rang them. Didn't have to wait long before the call was answered in person, no queueing system or automated message. The lady we spoke to was bubbly, polite, helpful & most importantly said she would call us back which she did within about 5 mins! No waiting around thinking we had been forgotten!!!

The lady talked us through our queries in full. We then continued to book online but the payment froze so we called JLM again & was put through to the lady we had spoken to originally. She finished our booking off over the phone & said a confirmation email would be with us shortly, which it was.

At all times we had great customer service & felt our decision to go with JLM was 100% justified!

Apart from the fact they were the best price out there for what we wanted it was exactly the same holiday offered by other leading companies...just with a more personal edge! Thankyou.

Treatment Of People With Disabilities

At the time of booking my holiday I was asked if I had any special requirements.. As I have Parkinson's Disease I explained that I needed extra leg room on the plane as I have involuntary movements in my legs. This wasn't arranged and I wasn't notified. I had to endure two 5 and a half hour flights in extreme discomfort which resulted in me having problems walking for two days after each flight and discomfort for some time afterwards. JLM's attitude was it's not there problem. Disgusting my holiday was totally spoilt and they don't care. If you have any special needs go elsewhere!

Refund Nightmare

Due to the tragic events in Tunisia my holiday was cancelled. JLM travel offered a full refund and assured me that it would be in my bank account as soon as they received a nil cost invoice from justsunshine.com (the tour operator). I phoned justsunshine and was told that they had already provided jlm with this information. I still do not have a refund three weeks later and after several calls I am no further forward in discovering where my money is. The staff have been deliberately evasive on the phone and are only concerned with getting me off the phone as quickly as possible. It took them less than a day to take the money from my account so in my opinion this situation is totally unacceptable.

Would give them no stars if I could.

Excellent Service And Great Price!

Just back from a holiday with JLM travel, I originally rang up about a different hotel but spoke to Martin and he recommended that I change it as reviews were not great, he offered me a better hotel for £48 per person less. I am really glad we listened to him because we have just had a fantastic family holiday at the el moradi palm marina hotel in Tunisia.

Our kids loved it, we loved it and best of all it was cheaper than the one we wanted. I cannot fault the service we had from Martin and the girl in customer services who booked our car parking for us.

We will definitely use JLM again and already looking at next years brochures. Thank you JLM Travel for a great holiday :)
