I Booked Earlier In The Year And The Recently Got
I booked earlier in the year and the recently got a payment reminder. I checked the price of the holiday and it had reduced significantly. I rang and asked if they would honour the new price and they said no. So I said I would cancel and rebook as I would still be better off if I lost my initial deposit. they said this was not possible as the reduction in price was due to a new offer by the resort and if i cancelled and rebooked I would be black listed by the resort.
Both of these statements are lies. The reduction in the price is due to the USD/GBP rate changing so i contacted the resort directly and they have no policy to black list customers.
I asked for a call back from a manager that took 3 days and when I finally got the call I was told it was a misunderstanding not a lie. Well I have that misunderstanding in writing from Letsgo2 and I also have the correct understanding from the resort in writing.
I get that holidays change price and I was prepared to forfeit my deposit and still be better off but Letsgo2 just did not want to entertain it. In a time when money is tight and everyone is trying to save money I would expect a little compassion not flat out profiteering.
10% Surcharge To Holiday Price For "currency Fluctuations"
We booked a St. Lucia holiday in Feb 2022 for Dec 2022. Booked early to lock in price. Notified by email on 23 August 2022 that they were adding 10% to price of holiday due to "currency fluctuations".
When challenged they said it was within their terms and we could not have our deposit back. What protection do we have from further increases ? None.
In all my 40 years of booking holidays, I have never experienced this. No other company I have ever travelled with, or am booked to travel with, has done this.
Use them at your risk.
Building Works
Booked a holiday with Letsgo2 Travel in November 2017.
Advised in February that building works would be around our hotel cause a lot of noise and disruption in some pool and beach areas until April 2018. This was ok as our trip was in August 2018
Advised in April that building works would be around our hotel cause a lot of noise and disruption in some pool and beach areas until April 2018 and further down the beach throughout the year but with the boardwalk being completed in Sept 2018.
Still thought ok cause the major cause of noise would still be over in April 2018.

Contacted Letsgo2 travel and asked them what we could do as it would now affect our stay. They said can’t cancel cause to near to departure and if want to transfer would have to pay difference. All comparable hotels have now gone up by £1000. They say we were told in April that the works would be going on to September 2018, I said no you said that the works around the hotel would be finished in April 2018 and the boardwalk would be finished in Sept 2018. Still arguing, but the are just not interested. Just suck it up basically is their motto. Definitely won’t be using them again.
False Advertising
I have been receiving emails with offers that don't exist from this company. The particular offer I received was underpriced by 350£. And the upgrades didn't exist. Beware !!!
They are also almost impossible to contact.
Totally Unprofessional
At the time of booking i booked our seats and then found out two weeks before travel that the seat booking was cancelled and lets go 2 failed to notify me. Therefore we could not book what we had paid for, privacy seats by the window. So rude on the phone, did not even try to help or bother to apologise. Totally rubbish company that derserves to be struck off as they dont want to know when theres a problem.
Perfect From Start To Finish
First time I have used letstogo2 and certainly won't be the last. We had five different flights four hotels transfers etc and everything went super smoothly loved all the hotels transfers were all private in lovely cars. the agent was very helpful and knowledgable offering me advice on hotels etc. I would not hesitate to use this company again very professional offering an outstanding service.
Barbados Holiday
Booked my holiday with let's go 2 as we have always had great service and we where not disappointed. The staff are always friendly and helpful and informative we would not hesitate when traveling to book again with this company. This is our fourth holiday with them and they always give great customer service.
Atrocious Service From Agent
TrIed Letsgo2.com to book a holiday to Mauritius. It's not a cheap holiday so you would think any company would be interested in securing the business. The Agent couldn't be bothered answering a few questions and was really indifferent.
I wouldn't recommend Letsgo2.com to anybody.
Then I tried Kenwood Travel immediately afterwards and had a totally different experience
Had really great service and really helpful assistance from the agent who could not have done more to answer questions, make the arrangements and get me exactly what I wanted.
On this experience I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kenwood Travel to anybody
Letsgo2 Were Fantastic
Just returned from a short break to Dubai with Letsgo2 and cant praise their service enough. Unfortunately BA cancelled our flight to Dubai due to fog at Heathrow and we were put in a hotel overnight, before then put on a flight to Abu Dhabi.
As soon as Letsgo2 were made aware of this (and not by me) they contacted their staff in Dubai who rearranged our pick-up from Abu Dhabi at no extra cost. What a surprise it was to get of the plane in Abu Dhabi to find we were being look after and taken straight to our Hotel on the Palm.
As we missed our first day, we decided to stay one extra day and once again Letsgo2 came up with options for us that met our needs.
I find a lot of these reviews talk about the hotels and airlines and not enough about the Tour Operators who look after us. Thanks to the advisor in their customer services department, she took all the stress away from or short break.
Great Customer Service
I've booked with letsgo2 a few times now and they are always great, especially when it comes to customer services. Great job guys. They seem to want the get my holiday the way I want it rather than trying to sell me the most expensive hotel or holiday package.
Great website, easy, clean and simple.
