Reliable

Wonderful cruise operator, staff very friendly and helpful. Pity I cannot name staff. Been with Six Star and Cruise 118 for about 15years, says a lot I think.no problem in recommending them to friends and family.

Do Not Use

paid the money for my cruise they cancelled it the next day now they wont give me my money back even though they have all the money which i have confirmed with azamara its been 65 days now and they keep promising a refund yet they dont send the money back DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

My Crystal Cruise, booked through Sixstar last summer for a cruise in June of this year, was cancelled by Sixstar/Crystal in May due to Covid. After 133 days I have still not received a refund. This is despite the fact that I was initially told by Sixstar that I would be refunded in 90 days. I was then assured I would be refunded in 120 days.

Sixstar have three times promised to investigate with Crystal and ring me back. None of those calls have materialised and Sixstar have also blatantly failed to respond to any E-mails or letters, including E-Mails to their Customer Services address, which in previous negative reviews they recommend people write to!

Sixstar may provide a good service when booking a cruise but it is a very different story if you are trying to secure a refund.

It is clearly a difficult time for cruise companies, and their agents, but if they want to have a post covid future they need to treat their customers with much more respect than they are currently doing.

Sixstar sell expensive cruises but, from my experience, their service is one star.

Once You Book And Pay Money Service Deteriorates Completely

Having booked a few cruises through this company I would definitely not recommend them. The last two cruises they have made mistakes but they never take ownership of them. They come across as highly efficient until you confirm the booking and pay over your money and then the level of services completely drops, they are never able to sort any issues out and the attitude of the manager when matters were escalated to her was to try to catch me out and get one up on me! Horrendous is too good a word for them. They should be called NO STAR CRUISES!!!!

Getting It Wrong Twice

We had a really bad experience with them in 2018 where they got pretty much everything wrong and by the time it was resolved we had lost our chosen cabin. The cruise line actually helped to get it sorted. We tried them again recently and again they got it wrong and tried to increase a price they they had indicated was fixed in the quote and this time we have not gone ahead with the booking. My advice is do not use them as there are plenty of other agents out there who are much better.

Things Go Wrong, Your Problem!

Rome.Hotel had no reservation for us . 4 hours of frustrating calls to six star Cruises.They are charming and helpful in selling you the cruise but totally careless in looking after you if problems arise. Despite repeated reminders taxi to ship did not arrive.

We had to get our own.workig on trying to get refund now. It is always difficult to find responsible person , senior people avoid the customer, no one replies to emails and responsibility for problems are avoided by blaming their cut price subcontractors.

My Cruise with Six Star Cruises to the Far East ends in Hong Kong. At the time of booking I had not decided on whether a day room was required or not, so, I paid for a transfer from Cruise terminal to Airport (25 Kilometres). I was told these elements of the trip could be easily changed or added later.

Service to this point was great. Full payment including the transfers became due and this was paid.

After full payment a change took place, Responsive Service but with little or no help. I was now told the Day Room could not be booked by Six Star Cruises and that this would be down to me. So, I booked my own day room.

New transfers were required which effectively added one additional journey of 4 Kilometres to the overall requirement. This carried the price tag of £148.00, No further details were provided.

I was told the £148.00 with no detail of it’s make up, was the figure provided by the supplier and they were unable (or unwilling) to seek more information. No additional detail has been provided. However, Six Star Cruises don’t see the issue and continue to ask if I wish to proceed.

So, a Great Service Promise but quickly wash their hands at the first sign of trouble.

I am not aware of a Commercial Organisation who do not keep a very tight control over their Suppliers. This ensures the best service and competitive edge can be provided to its Customers. This is not the case with Six Star Cruises

Situation remains unresolved!

Getting hold of knowledgeable staff that can help with cruise choice that know about the cruises they are offering is a great bonus they make the booking process very simple and make sure you have all the information you need.

So Easy!

We have used Six Star and, apart from our last cruise when Trail Finders had no cc charges and good flight charges,had a better deal, we have used Six Star. again and been satisfied. The CC charges were the sticking point.
