What We Got Was Not What Was Advertised.

Snowtrek advertised beautiful, sunlight rooms and well furnished apartments at Les Arcs Premium Village. What we got, rooms in which we could bearly move, under the eves. The master bedroom double bed was pushed up under eves with 1 light at the foot of the bed (??) - half the double bed required a crawl from the foot of the bed to lie down! Second single bedroom with two twin beds gave no room to move and also under eves.

Living room - tired sofa with seat cushions sliding off, making it impossible to sit properly on the couch. Furniture completely tired and mismatched. Aweful to look at. Lighting from the 1940s we couldn't ever properly see!

Beautiful pools are advertised - including one with chandeliers and grotto walls - kids were so excited for that - but wait! That's not even part of the complex. It's a spa - quite a way away in the village that is paid for!

Snowtrek -  are not treating your customers fairly - I'm sure there must be rooms in the complex that are renovated to the standards you advertise, but we did not get those few rooms. You should advertise fairly or partially reimburse your customers for not getting what you sold to them.

From speaking to people in the village, I now know we paid handsomely for the rooms. I wouldn't mind if I got what I thought I had paid for. Sadly - this is not what happened.

PS - I've also sent an email to your customer service email : info-uk with my complaint and photos of what you advertised vs what I got - which I wish I could post that here.... Pictures do say it best.

Skiing In Vaujany, Staying At Les Valmonts

As ever, Snow Trex were very efficient and helpful with our holiday in Vaujany.

Vaujany is a beautiful resort, with a real Alpine village feel. Great restaurants and friendly people. Great links to Alpe de Huez too. Les Valmonts is a lovely residence, with a reception staffed by very friendly and helpful people. There is a bread delivery service for breakfast, and a relaxation room, with free Wifi that is available when the Reception is open.

The apartments are spacious, with their own balconies, and with underground parking, so that you do not need to be worried about your car getting snowed in.

The walk to the lift takes about 5 mins, and is reached by a combination of stairs and escalators. Once you understand how it works, it is absolutely fine, and well worth the few steps to stay in such a beautiful resort. There is also loads to do - the resort feels like a community, and activites are constantly being organised. There is also bowling, swimming, and ice-skating, as well a Sauna and wet room in Les Valmonts, and you can use either one of these for free once during your stay.

It is true that you cannot ski all the way back to Vaujany, but there is ablue down to a gondola, which runs until about 4.45, from where you get back to the resort within about 5 mins. The other way is via a very skiable black to the Rolls Royce of Gondolas, and a 3 minute ride. This lift runs until 4.50.

We really enjoyed this holiday; the village was so beautiful, and so relaxing. Thank you Snow Trex for another great holiday.

Do Not Book Anything With Snowtrex. Be Aware That

DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH SNOWTREX. Be aware that this company can not be trusted and have tottally messed up six peoples holiday in Austria this week. Sent us to a resort which is closed and had to go two hours to find lifts which are open to be told we dont have a lift pass which was included in our booking. All day on phone and emails and still no help and even have the cheek to blame us. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. In box me for further details before you send any money to them.

Best Holiday Agency

I've reserved 3 holidays with this agency, and they are the best. I was very satisfied with all hollidays.

Excellent Value

Friendly flexible approach: did just what it said it would do. Probably significant - we are a multiple-return re-booker with Snowtrex. Uncrowded resort, but with all the facilities we needed. Everything to hand. Happy to let an Englishman practise his French, but ready to help if some of the words and phrases got away. So now we look forward to another year with Snowtrex ...

Brilliant, Friendly And Understanding!

I can't thank Snowtrex enough for their help organising my trip. I went in a group of 6, with various different needs, vouchers from Groupon and requiements which can get confusing at the best of times! But the team at Snowtrex were always there to help, by phone or email, we're so patient when I had some delays in payment or completing the booking, offered me so mug advice as to what the cheapest and easiest options were, always stayed in touch with information and things I needed to do.

They were friendly, helpful, accomodating, informative, understanding and overall faultless.

Will definitely be using them in future and will look forward to it!

You Get What You Pay For

Very basic, usually dirty accommodation, lacking basic furniture and cooking implements. But great locations at a great price.

I have stayed in Chamrousse, Valmeiner, Vaujany and La Joue du Loup with Snowtrex and have found the accommodation to be similarly basic but in a good location in regards to the pistes and villages.

Great if you are going in a group of friends, or family and need something cheap. Maybe not so great for a romantic holiday.

Beware of trying to cancel as Snowtrex will charge you a large cancellation fee even months in advance. So be sure before you book anything despite the cheap price on the tin.

Find Another Agency

By booking the four stars apartements FeWo Haid in Schönau am Königsee we went into a week of harassment. The host had his secret rules wich we violated daily without knowing before bills were put on our doors for all to see our "crimes", which consisted of dishwasher used in the evening, bath before bedtime, making tea before bedtime etc etc. When we came home the host send us a bill of 1000 Euro telling us to pay for a new lock system. He claimed we threw the key away allthough he got it before departure!Snowtrex told us, the new the host makes troubles to guest he dislike but wouldn´t compensate us for a ruined vacation. DO NEVER USE SNOWTREX!

A Good Hotel With A Superb Spa, But Expensive For A 3*...

The hotel is nice, clean rooms(mine), a very good SPA(like 4*hotels) but the temperature of water could be 2-3 degrees more...

Because it is out of town it is a shuttle each morning and afternoon 5PM -very kind the owners!...If you would like to stay in town,(which is a dream one!)you have to use a taxi-and it is a little expensive...

The meals were repetitive, even the deserts looks like "last minute"...almost every day were ice-creme!!! but our last day when the hotel became almost full-the food was good, many dishes and choices...

What I didn't like it: No wireless signal in rooms ...only in lobby and bar! Guys, we are in 21 century!!!
