Avoid This Company!

I booked a holiday during the covid-19 pandemic as my mother passed away.

I was then unable to travel due to restrictions and was told I would receive my money back as I didn't take the flight.

I am still fighting for my money almost 3 years down the line.

Avoid At All Cost

AVOID AT ALL COST.

If your trip goes without a hitch and you don't need to change flights then all well and good. We used this company and were assured over the phone if flights needed to be changed we would incur a cost if the new flights were more expensive. That is totally acceptable . We knew this may be the case for us as my husband was donating a kidney in Australia and medically sometimes things don't go to plan. Unfortunately the worst happened and we had to change flights. This company charged us a massive £8000 after flights to and from Australia had to be re scheduled which they put down to "airport taxes". There is nothing on their terms and conditions or anywhere readable. If you try to complain they just put you back to the sales person who sold you the flights in the first place. We got a friend to go through the system to check flights and the cost had gone down. I cannot stress how awful this company are. No compassion given in our scenario. I have left it until we got home from the booked flights before submitting this. I emailed to complain to customer services months ago and still have had no response. As I said in the beginning BE WARNED . THIS COMPANY ARE UNETHICAL AND IMMORAL AND IT WILL COST YOU A LOT OF MONEY IF ANY OF YOUR PLANS NEED TO CHANGE.

Booked a flight from jamaica to london on the 10th of july.2 days later(12th july)my mom passed away..emailed them the death certificate and asked to change my flight to the 14th of August after the funeral..wanted to charge me £400 on top of the £587 i already paid for the one way flight..very poor customer service and dishonest people.

I booked a hoilday and then covud happened I have been trying to use my credit but they keep coming up with excuses and won't give me a refund!!! So many people ibhave spoken to there have left and no one seems to know where my £4100 is !!!!!

I will seek legal action now ridiculous

Incompetent, Dishonest And Plain Lazy

I would have preferred not to give even a single star. This company caused me unimaginable mental and physical distress!

I had to personally select the best flights even the first time round, but matters became impossible when I had to change my flights. I called the agent who was in charge of my case requesting him to find suitable flights. I explained the situation to him and he promised to find alternative flights but there was no call back. I followed it up with an email. Still no response or acknowledgement of email. I called the agent's personal desk no. He did not pick up or call back. I had to call up the team no and beg other agents to connect me to him. He was uncooperative, it was clear that he had forgotten about my request. When I persisted, he offered the most expensive weekend flights with the longest transit time even when I had repeatedly told him that I wanted to travel on week days and was looking to book 6 months in advance. I had to personally go back to the site to find appropriate flights, but as it was nearing the deadline for the change, he insisted on push selling the more expensive flights simply because he was too lazy to find anything cheaper. By that time, I was hospitalised for Covid and too ill to argue.

Frankly, this is nothing short of blackmail. It is obvious the company has a policy of waiting till the last minute and then forcing expensive flights on customers. They dont appear to be based in the UK.

My advice to other customers, please always go via the airlines' official site, cheaper sites turn out to be more pain than they are worth!

I have seen great flight prices with Virgin to Orlando next year for 3 weeks. I'm just a bit skeptical as the flights for my dates with Virgin are not released yet on their website. Also I've read of people booking flights only to be rang back up and told they've now gone up. How does the confirmation work? Does it come from Virgin instantly if you pay in full?

They will guarentee you a price for that day, if you do not take it, it may go up next day. Once you say yes, they send you an invoice and you reply to that, whilst at the same time, you give your card details. As they are not booking agents, they can sell flights 12 months in advance as they buy seats direct from Virgin. I said yes to my price on Thursday which was guarenteed just for that day as long as I replied to an email stating go ahead as soon as I had given card details.my confirmation with flight and ticket numbers came today, Monday. I asked them the same as you as I have gone through that experience after booking with others. I have checked with Virgin directly tonight and they have said as I only paid today, to leave it 48 hours and they should be able to confirm the booking. I will let you know. I will say that I delayed 3 days from the first quote and the price went up by £250 in that time as they are selling fast for August 2016. If I find things were not what was sold as, you will definitely see a fresh post here once Virgin confirm or not.
