Stay Away From Them.

I tried to book a flight with them after they were recommended by Google Travel. Avoid them at all costs. If there's a change even before they send you the e-ticket, they ask for more money and hang up on you if they are not satisfied with your answers. I called my bank while the transaction was still pending to reverse it, and my bank did so immediately. I notified them that I would no longer continue with the transaction, and I received WhatsApp messages with threats, saying I would only get my money back if I paid a £75 fee per person before 10 PM. I didn’t pay, and the next morning I found the money withdrawn without my consent. I contacted my bank, they are going to issue me a new debit card, and blocked them from making any further payments. I’m waiting to report them to the police. Now, I will report them to ATOL and ABTA. They use English names when interacting with you. Avoid this travel agency at all costs before they ruin your vacation and take your money.

Unethical Business

I received confirmation of my flight after paying a small holding deposit through Travelhouse UK.Their fare was not the cheapest and I used them before on a few occasions without any hassle. However, soon after I made the payment THIS TIME- a few days earlier as requested, and confirmation of my payment received was received- I was notified that the price would be double to what was quoted even after receiving the flight details. I am now struggling to get my refund paid back to me to see if I can get a flight home to visit my family.

Due to this unethical and operation oversight I had to cancel my plans which has put severely impacted me financially - and to add insult to injury I do not have a flight home and continuously been sent prices which are way beyond the actual flights and pricing initially quoted.

I would never use their services or recommend them to anyone.

Untrustworthy And Threatening

I tried booking in Qatar airways through Travelhouse UK ony because their fare was less than at the airlines website. However, soon after I tried making the booking, they contacted and told the fare ahd gone higher. I still went ahead with them. When after a few months when I wanted to cancel, I was informed that Qatar airways requirs me to pay a penalty of $1400 for cancellation and that I need to pay this upfront to receive my refund. However when I received the refund I realsied that it was the Travel Hosue that charged me for the $1400 penalty unlike the explanation I was given. 2 months after refund I got a call from them again claiming that Qatar airways refunded me more than what they were supposed to pay and asked me to pay that back. I asked them to produce me a document from Qatar airways saying so, but she refused. I think its another ploy from the Travel House to get more money from you under the pretense of the airlines and I refused. Then I was threatened verbally and in aggressive tones. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Excellent Service Delivery

I had a great experience dealing with Travel house UK. Their customer service is so excellent. She is an excellent and supportive staff who took time to attend to all my needs. This is the second time am dealing with her. She provided me a fantastic service and she was very patient and honest while dealing with me.

Never Use This Agent!

I don’t know where are these reviews came from as they’re not trust worth in my opinion. Made mistakes at customer’s costs! I will never use them again ever!!!!

Be Cautious.

BE CAUTIOUS. I booked with this agent because it appeared to offer the cheapest flights via Google Travel. Immediately after booking, I became concerned about the seat selection and requested cancellation even before receiving the ticket number. They assured me that I could select seats on the airline website right after receiving the ticket. However, I later discovered that my fare plan doesn't allow seat selection until check-in. This is a significant problem, especially since I'm traveling with a small toddler, and sitting apart is not ideal.

To add to the frustration, the amount I paid aligns with the upper-level class, and the discrepancy in fare plans, along with the additional +100 charge from the airline website.

Despite multiple calls expressing my concerns, they insist it's non-refundable. When I mentioned exploring the next steps, they promised to call me back but have yet to respond.

this company not only doesn't offer cheaper prices, but also operates by using deceptive methods to extract more money from customers and refusing refunds. BE CAUTIOUS!!

Diana, A Disappointment

I wanted to go to Capetown in December, contacted an agent who said I must pay £25 deposit for her to do my itinerary to present to the SA Embassy for visa processing. She told me that If I do not pay for the ticket within 4 days she would cancel the ticket and refund me £20. So before end of 4 days I called her canceling the deal as I was no longer going and told her to refund my deposit. Instead she told me that she was going to deduct from my next booking which I do not even know when that would be as I do not intend to travel. I felt shortchanged as I was only told of this policy when I asked for my refund. Funny enough, it didn't take her time to deduct the money from my account but to return it back, I am now being told of policies that I do not even know. This behaviour is similar to that of shammers to be honest. Why would such a big company have such a draconian policy? I am not going to recommend any of my friends or relatives to use Travel House Again.

I Bought Tickets To Zim With Them, Initially Paid

I bought tickets to Zim with them, initially paid a deposit I, they did not call me for the last instalment until I rand to say no one had contacted me to for this.

I was told not to worry that someone will call me at the beginning of Sep , our flight was 18 Sep. I received a call to pay and I did. Then the next text I received was to inform me that our flight was cancelled. I then called the agent to ask what my options were. She informed me that they can book later in the year as the next two months were not guaranteed. She went on further to say the airline Ethiopian airways are requesting a further £1400, as the prices have gone. Initially our 4 tickets were £840 each.

I told her that I did not cancel my flight, it is the responsibility of the airline to book me onto the next flight or give my money back. She now tried to explain that they will give back this £1400 back in vouchers. I found it absurd and o said I have no further money to pay. Anyway she claimed to have booked me again on to a flight in November but the dates were clashing with my son being out of the country with work. So I said I would like to change the dates, she then asked me to pay a further £570 for voluntary change of date, which I understand .

However, I then received a receipt saying I now owe £1900 outstanding. I called to say I paid for my tickets fully, that the receipt is misleading. She said not to worry, it’s fine. That if I pay the £1400 I will still get it back in vouchers which I can still use with them.

I now decided to contact the airline, was told that we had no tickets for September, that they can see the tickets for 7 Nov to 30 Nov that are now cancelled. They asked me if we still wanted to travel I said yes but at a later date in November . They asked me to pay the £633 for voluntary change of date. Which I did, received my tickets, reservation confirmation from the airline. Reassured that they will not be need to contact they agent that everything was sorted.

All hell broke loose when I tried to check in day before travel, Imy tickets could not be found. I than rand the airline, was asked if I bought the tickets through an agent I said yes. They said the agent had blocked my tickets that they said I did not pay. My option was to repurchase the tickets all over again when I get to the airport for us to travel. I just gave up. I rang the agent only to be told I owe them £1400. I have demanded my money back, I am yet to get my refund. So it has been a terrible experience first time to use an agent, I was referred to them by an acquaintance. Never again. I would strongly advise people to not use them.

Worst Service

I booked my ticket in October last year to Zimbabwe, was advised to use Qatar Airlines. On arrival at the airport I was told I was not flying to Zimbabwe only to doha, I showed my ticket.this was checked and I was told by the lady checking me in on arrival in doha I wpulc be issued with another ticket. I called Travelhouseuk and spoke to the person who sold me my ticket. He played dumb and made out like he was shocked. On arrival in doha I wasted two hours of my life trying to get my ticket sorted. My ticket issued to find I was now flying via South Africa instead of direct to Zimbabwe as originally planned. Before catching my connecting flight I was told to look out for luggage in South Africa and make sure it gets to Zimbabwe. On arrival in South Africa I went to check my luggage to make sure it had arrived only to hear my name being called as my flight was waiting. I ran from one end of the airport to the next On arrival in Zimbabwe no luggage. No suprise. It took 8 days before luggage was reunited with me. To add further insult I got an email 3 days before flying home informing me that my flight home was now cancelled.!!!. I immediately called up Travelhouseuk to ask why and was told oh dint worry we have booked yoh to fly out 3 days later I asked what about my accommodation who is going to pay for that. No their problem I was informed by the very unhelpful travel agent. He then proceeded to tell me to find my way to South Africa from Zimbabwe like its just hop step and jump away and then he would get me a flight back to the UK. This would be smother bill.!!!

I proceeded to look for alternative flights back and found one 200£ cheaper. I am still waiting for a refund for my flight back. They will not compensate for my lost luggage or even apolofor the rubbish service and have now blocked me on Facebook for complaining instead of calling me to try and sort things. Will not use them again.

I have been handled by Jamal Woods for about 14 months. During the pandemic I have changed, cancelled, rebooked and I have never got any negative response from the gent. I will use Travel House again and again if the ilk of staff are like Jamal.
