I Thought I Was In Good Hands Booking Through Them
I thought I was in good hands booking through them.NEVER AGAIN. First holiday they didn"t add my 20k luggage (although I pd the £70) and charged £64 to my bill,£7.each time myself and my friend boarded a plane and as I had booked the 2nd holiday I couldn"t cancel. The same happened there except I had to pay the airline another £60 for the 20k luggage and they wouldn"t send me a summary of what I paid for. No special assistance was provided even though they knew I needed it and I had it for the first holiday. Now trying to sue them but they don"t answer the phone and there is no correct address. STAY WELL CLEAR. It would have been nice to know IF this company was LIGIT BEFORE I HAD ANY DEALINGS WITH THEM.
I had all this with translate I am still trying to get my money back the worst company I have ever travelled with never again rude awful should not be in business I understand how you feel I am going to name and shame them
After many phone calls/e-mails and telephone calls I finally got back the £189 this company owed me plus another £27 they owed me from YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE THIS ,I DIDN"T AT FIRST,the £27 they took from my account 35 DAYS AFTER THEY HAD BEEN PAID IN FULL. If I had not asked for a print out of TRANSACTIONS made on my account I would not have found this out. BEWARE CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT from when you BOOKED YOUR HOLIDAY
Smoke And Mirrors
Our first rep was great to deal with , states no hidden costs , next day My wife phoned and booked our holiday , we later realised that Southend airport don't fly direct to turkey and in actual fact we were on indirect flight taking three times longer , we called back and changed to Stanstead at a cost of £120 total for 5 people, few days later I checked our bank records an additional £700 had been taken in separate transaction by easy jet , note I never gave my details to easy jet !!! I booked through late travel who took there £2500, to top it the confirmation they sent through didn't make sense with the agree prices we were given.
They have offered £440 back stating we were over charged , but state we accepted some product called AGS totalling £160 , what is AGS as it wasn't explained in lay mens terms , they state it's being investigated and listening back to the calls , I've sent a complaint as we won't let £160 slide , don't require this service that wasn't made clear behind smoke and mirror techniques. I've requested Subject Access Request under freedom of information act and pursue refund for this service.
Wait for response failing that omboundsmen and complaint to financial services and travel regulation ATOL.
Seriously dont bother go direct to travel governing body
Hi, Is it possible you can let me have the Managers direct phone number at Travelate.. I also have been lied to and overcharged a large sum of money, especially as I booked for 6 people. Another £38 per person on top of the 'Total' price = £228. Plus £75 for using a credit card even though I was told the final amount included this charge. This company are bad. Having complained long and hard I was offered £108 as a refund, to come via a cheque within 28 days. This was promised in late November. I have not received this, nor do I get any replies to my emails.
When they OVERCHARGED me by £64 each time I asked about this and they said ( this was after the agreed price and not told any different,only found that out when I rang them) it was what the AIRLINE CHARGED THEM EVERYTIME you BOARDED a FLIGHT. Never heard so much rubbishin all my life. But as Previously stated in my review I now have had all my money back. I went to ATOL but they couldn"t do anything about it as they don"t cover (even though travellate"s paper-work says it does) low cost holidays. You have to persevere. this is THE MANAGER,who at all times said he didn"t know anything about my complaints and the OVERCHARGING
Worst Customer Service!
We booked a holiday through you this company 5 days ago and we have had nothing but bother since then. We did not receive any confirmation of our booking and three days after booking we contacted travelate to be informed that our flight was not direct and had a 7 hour stop over. We were told we had to pay extra to change to a direct flight. By Friday we still had no confirmation and had a lot of phone calls to them, were we found them extremely rude and unhelpful. We then received another additional charge and through phone calls managed to get access to our flight details. Now we are with a completely different airline than we were quoted and the luggage allowance is now considerably less than when we booked the holiday. After all this we could t even cancel the holiday as we were informed it was non-refundable. If we had known about the additional charges and the luggage we would have not booked. We are very disappointed with the service we have received and would never book through this company again!

Customer Satisfaction Is Of No Interest To This Company!
How strange that that a Travelate representative is so prompt to respond to customer complaints in such a public forum, though I have to say that in every case, the response itself seems to be nothing but a string of excuses, delivered in a patronising tone! I lodged a complaint with this company a month ago and having prompted them a week later, received only a short text telling me that it is apparently still being investigated. I have no idea why this is proving to be so complicated as all telephone calls are supposedly recorded and I provided the company with dates,times and a name. My experience was similar to others on this site. Not only was the man who sold me my holiday very keen to take my credit card details, but he employed some very blatant distraction techniques whenever I asked about flight arrangements. Although he spoke to me on both my landline and my mobile, according to the salesman, every time that I asked about the flights, the lines supposedly went crackly. I am annoyed that I went against my gut feeling and booked, as I had promised my kids that I would do so that evening.The following day, I was called back and told that my flights were unsuitable as they were indirect (ludicrously long Amsterdam stopovers like other reviewers) and that cancelling at that point was "not an option". I was then offered various alternatives. When I agreed to one of these, I was assured that the cost would be exactly the same. I have however been charged over £130 pounds more than the agreed cost, for a holiday that I didn't choose in the first place! The holiday itself? I arrived at my hotel in Corfu at midnight, a single mother with two teenagers in tow, to be told that there was no room available at the hotel! We were put in what was supposed to be two nights' temporary accommodation (disruptive enough to our holiday) but which ended up being our home for the complete week. It was not in the quiet location we booked but on the main Corfu road. It did not provide the cooked breakfast which was part of our package but a continental one. We had to travel by taxi to eat the dinner for which we had paid. How can you seriously justify this degree of unethical business practice? Travelate clearly don't care about properly addressing customer complaints but just about attempting to cover their own backs with feeble excuses. From start to finish, the whole experience was a bad joke and only a complete fool would try to argue that any of this is acceptable!
Got all my over-payments back and the extra £27 they took from my ACCOUNT 35 DAYS AFTER I HAD PAID IN FULL. CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS.NEVER WILL I BOOK WITH THEM AGAIN and ANY-ONE after reading these REVIEWS should either. I have UPDATED this as 2018 bookings for holidays are coming up and I don"t want to hear of any-one being RIPPED OFF AGAIN BY THIS COMPANY
I to have been miss sold a holiday I am going to go ombudsman the customer service centre needs to go on a few course was told I was worse customer they dealt with this is worse travel agents I have dealt with sent money over for holiday and was advised was there sat by my bank told me that it did not arrive till Monday so holiday went up by 100 pound :/ worse company every

I was also asked to send proof that I was a genuine customer. If you provide this, they will certainly reinstate your review on this site. I suspect that Travelate/321 holidays are composing 5 star reviews to post about themselves at this very moment to cancel out mine!
I hope your review isn't removed. I had a similar dreadful experience with this company and have today have an email from this review centre to say my review has been removed pending more info from me!!
I have to provide my full name and address and an invoice to prove I was sold a holiday by this company!

Why have we been charged £18 each for cancellations when I already told them we had insurance, was told it was compulsory and had to pay it? Feel like someone pulling a fast one here.
I was told by the agent that by law I had to pay £18 pp each of flight to cover cancellation etc also a supplement as there is only 2 of us travelling, not 4 people. Can they charge us this extra costs? I feel we have been mis-sold a holiday with these extra costs required by law.
Thinking of booking with Travelate for the first time. Are they reliable?

Booked a holiday with Travelate using Ryanair. Was quoted £50 for one case in the hold of the aircraft (both flights). When I went to print my boarding pass on the Ryanair web page I noticed the charge for one case was £40. How come the discrepancy?
