Excellent holidays. Highly organised and beautiful locations. used them a few times but they don't take AMEX which is really bad.

Seemed enthusiastic to organise a holiday but never returned phone calls , despite promises to, quite bewildering to be ignored by a supposedly legitimate travel company. Still no word from them 3 weeks after initial phone call!

Went to Kuoni- had trip organised in 3 days, always contactable, so different!

Booking a honeymoon through these guys seemed great until they spelt the name of my partner incorrectly and we had to pay to rectify as it was our fault for not noticing the error. It's a shame as we know we called about it, bit can't remember the exact data or time so cant prove it. Given the overall cost of the honeymoon and wedding the cost to change the name was minimal and made no real difference cost wise, however the way we were treated and blamed for the issue left a very bad taste. If you do use these guys vs. all the other people out there offering similar services our advice would be to confirm every call in writing and not to trust them to do the right thing unless they have to.

We had a super holiday in Tahiti through Turquoise Holidays in April of 2010 with stays in Papeette, Moorea and Bora Bora. Sadly , this was where it ended. We were then stuck in Los Angeles for 6 nights on the way back to the UK due to the Icelandic volcano. Turquoise Holidays lifted one finger for us: they got a less than competent local agent to book one night in a rundown but expensive hotel in Venice Beach for 150 USD per night which I had to pay for. We then spent 5 more nights in the said dump where they decided to increase the rate to 250 per night and with everywhere being full, we had no option but to pay. In terms of organising my rescheduled flight, I had to spend hours on the phone myself to Air New Zealand to book our places on the first available flight at my own expense using the hotel phone. All in all, the delay added around 2,000 pounds to a 7,500 pound holiday from Turquoise. Had we booked with Kuoni, they would have looked after as as they have sufficient staff and resources to do so. This is the major pitfall of booking with a small independent and unhelpful travel agent.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Australia. We wanted a trip that would take in lots of different activities and allow us to spend a bit of time in Sydney and also some time in the bush. The guys at Turquoise weren't phased by this request at all and were able to make some brilliant suggestions on where we should go, what we should do and where we should stay!

I would certainly recommend Turquoise to anyone, particularly if you are looking to take a holiday with a bit of a difference as the team will spend lots of time working with you to choose the best experiences for you. We really did have a trip of a lifetime - thank you Turquoise!

We had the most amazing honeymoon at Rasananda! It is amazing - especially in one of the rooms on the beach. Just loved it!! Anyway Turquoise were great from beginning to end - really helpful. We wouldn't have even known about Rasananda if it hadn't been for them recommending it, base don our budget and the time of year. Lara, who we dealt with, had been there and really sold it to us. She also told us about the amazing honeymoon package Turquoise had arranged with the hotel- which was perfect as it meant we could have some extra things included in advance like the amazing spa treatment we had and the most romantic dinner. It was perfect from beginning to end. Can't thank Turquoise enough.

My girlfriend and I had been obsessing over a trip to Vietnam for some time after being inspired by countless cooking programmes featuring the delights of street eating in Hanoi, as well as reading many rousing articles on the amazing cultural experiences that people have had since visiting the beautiful country.

I contacted Turquoise after hearing many good things in the press and from close friends, although it was some special offers that were shown in the Times that finally pushed me to make the call. Polly recommended me an itinerary that sounded so good I didn't even bother to go away and think about it, I ran through to the kitchen to double check the provisional dates we had were workable and told Polly to book us in.

Up until the trip Turquoise were fantastic and kept ringing us giving us any information we needed to know and offering us upgrades and extras that we might not have considered. Even our tickets arrived in a wax sealed scroll which although a small gesture, really did make us excited for our upcoming adventure.

The actual holiday was fantastic and I can't possibly do it justice in this small review space here, but highlights were taking in the sites of Ho Chi Minh city, the fabulous food in Hanoi and the breathtaking views at Halong Bay.

Upon returning Turquoise were keen to get our feedback and really did take the time to ensure the holiday was everything that had promised it would be. The little touches they made to the trip and the fantastic service at every level has assured they now have me as a customer for life, and I would highly recommend to anyone else looking to take their next holiday to give them a try as well.

After the horrible weather that we witnessed last winter, my husband and I decided that we deserved a holiday. We have already been to Thailand, New Zealand, South America and Italy so we decided on Tahiti. We knew that we wanted a tropical location, with beautiful surroundings, plenty to do along with time to sit back and relax. I saw that a few of my trustworthy friends were fans of Turquoise Holidays on Facebook so I contacted them after many recommendations. We got in contact with Johanna at Turquoise who listened to exactly what we wanted from our holiday and created an outstanding holiday for us.

When we arrived on Tahiti we were amazed that Johanna had found us the perfect destination that covered all of our requirements. The resort was set on a beautiful lagoon and our overwater bungalow was a little personal touch that Turquoise had surprised us with. It was completely out of this world. We witnessed the most breathtaking sunsets over the lagoon, dined at the fantastic restaurants in the resort and even took a 4wd safari to discover the beautiful valleys and waterfalls that Tahiti has to offer. While there was plenty to do on Tahiti, there was also lots of opportunity to relax in our overwater bungalow and take in the views in peace.

I would definitely recommend Turquoise Holidays for those seeking pure luxury. We told them our requirements and they more than exceeded them so we were very happy. The only downside was that we had to come home to England! I look forwards to booking our next adventure with Turquoise Holidays.

I travelled to tahiti on my honeymoon and booked through turquoise. My husband and I absolutely loved our time at the four seasons bora bora. It was such a luxurious place that we felt we could completely relax. Perfect after our wedding. The flight was a bit long but the destination more than made up for it with beautiful warm weather and amazing oceans. Thanks ever so much to the lovely Sarah for recommending it!

We have just returned from New Zealans saying in some beautiful beach houses in the North and South Island's we loved it all. Petra at Turquoise was charming and really knew her stuff she is a Kiwi living in the UK so you can't get better advice than that.

The premium economy flights were a good option and although we were not sure abour LA. The whole trip was fantastic and we are busy going through the beautiful brochure planning our next trip to Australia or South Africa well done Turquoise we will be recomending you to all our friends
