Villa Del Conde Tenerife
I’d advise anyone booking with Villa plus to think again. I’m just back from Villa del conde in Tenerife and I tell you now the pictures are major misleading. The pictures I have on my phone to what they actually show is horrendous , everything was broken had an ant infestation the pool shutter was broke which we also have proof of we had to ask if it was broken and they’re reply was ohh sorry we forgot to leave a note we are waiting on the part. They had empty water gallon bottles collecting overflow aswell as empty 10 lite plant pots , doors were broken , the showers were so cold for a villa that sleeps 8 after 2 hot showers there wouldn’t be any more hot water for the rest of the evening. Please think again when booking with Villa plus overpriced and definitely nothing like the photos on they’re site if I could upload pictures I would so the world could see but they’re smart they don’t let you do this. Don’t use them.
Terrible Experience
I wish I had read the reviews on the review websites before I booked a villa with villa plus. Like so many before me I am advising you not to book a villa with this company. The photographs on their website are totally misleading. In February 2024 we stayed at Villa Salinas, Lanzarote and it was an absolute disgrace, a villa which Villa Plus should be ashamed to market. They have a responsibility to ensure their villas meet the description as advertised and they failed to do this. We were mis-sold this holiday. We asked to be moved but they said they did not have any other accommodation available. There were so many problems I couldn’t possibly list them all. I cannot understand how they get a Trust Pilot 4 star rating. Here are some of our complaints:
The villa hadn’t been cleaned properly. We had to go to the shops and buy cleaning products.
There was mould on the inside of the fridge.
Plates and cutlery were dirty
The oven was dated and the electric kept tripping every time we tried to use the oven.
Cockroach infestation to the lower ground floor
Bedding smelt fusty, pillows and mattress were dirty, stained
The covers on the pool loungers were filthy
The cushions on the outdoor table chairs were filthy and smelt
The cushions on the bedroom veranda were ripped and the foam was spilling out
There was only enough seating in the lounge for 4 people (there were six of us), 2 x 2-seater sofas and a broken Ikea chair
Photos show pool table and tennis table which we thought would be great for the children but both were in such poor condition they were unusable
The heated pool was significantly smaller than 8m x 4m as advertised and the pool heating was not functioning.
The advert said that off road parking was available but the electric gate would not open.
Security issues with external doors not being securely lockable
One of reps from Villa Plus agreed to rectify as much as he could which was only a quick clean, fresh linen, and new cushions for the sunbeds. We didn’t notice the stained mattress until the day we were leaving but the cleaners who changed the beds will have noticed and didn’t say anything. Sorting out the complaint took the whole of our second day in the Villa making the first 2 days of our holiday stay miserable and full of stress and the rest of the unresolved complaints continued to ruin the rest of our holiday. We have complained to villa plus and was offered an insulting £150 compensation which we have not yet received.
Unacceptable Noise From Next Doors Villa
3 days of ear damaging noise from next doors property in Villa Orzola in Lanzarote . Reps unable to find suitable alternative accommodation. Also said they were talking to builders have to press them for a response and sometimes nothing at all. Worst holiday I’ve ever had in my life would not recommend villa plus to anyone !
Bad Customer Service From Villa Plus No Reply To My Emails

I’m currently staying at Villa Vista Faro Lanzarote from January 10 to Sunday 21 January.
I have to say I’m very disappointed with the villa
For Example .
The dining chairs outside are not able to be used as in a bad state of repair.
The dishwasher door is unable to open fully as the kitchen hasn’t enough space to enable this .
Outside storage near pool has door hanging off unsafe for children with an assortment of broken toys,which should be binned.
One of the sun lounges is missing a cushion
Curtains in lounge are not hung properly
Bedroom blind in upstairs bedroom to short and chain to raise or lower broken
The sliding door to outside requires maintenance
Only one outside light at front entrance of house works as the other one is damaged
To sum things up the villa is in need of some up grade.

This villa is nothing like pictures. I sugest you need new people to vet these villas
No Refunds And No Replies!
I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with Villa Plus. Despite providing a substantial seven months' notice due to unforeseen health issues, they refused a refund and showed a complete lack of sympathy. Their unresponsiveness, taking over two weeks to reply to a single email, further added to the frustration.
Villa Plus appears more focused on taking money than on customer care. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking with them, as their unsympathetic service has left me thoroughly dissatisfied.
Villa Tienda, Alcudia Nightmare
Villa Tienda in Alcudia was booked with Villa Plus September 2023-October 2023.on arrival we found the villa inside and outside bore no resemblance to the actual images on the Villa Plus website. Our first impressions on arrival was the overpowering stench of dampness and mould inside the property. Opening windows and doors made no difference. Parts of the ceiling plaster in the lounge area were falling down onto the furniture underneath. The walls in almost all rooms showed cracks, some running from one side to the other. All furniture old, dated and well past it’s sell by date. Couches in the lounge covered in throws and I dread to think what was underneath. We had to sleep the first 2 nights with our sheets covering our noses as the stench was so bad. The outside barbecue has an asbestos roof on it and we found a couple of small loose pieces of asbestos sitting on top of it. This ASBESTOS ROOF SHOULD NOT BE THERE as it was clearly very old and asbestos breaks down with age and becomes dangerous when it breaks down! Outside of villa showing visible signs of a damp and mould problem, with broken sills in places inside and out, broken and missing fixtures everywhere, broken/missing tiles round the pool, filthy looking render on outside bearing no resemblance to the images on the website. We both have lung conditions and after one night breathing and smelling the overpowering smell of mould we knew we couldn’t stay any longer or we’d be risking our health. 12 years of hiring villas and this is the first one we’ve had that’s been what we’d call a s******e. We are not habitual complainers! I cannot believe Villa Plus are still advertising this villa in 2024! Luckily our rep moved us to alternative villas in a different resort after 2 days for the remainder of our stay in Majorca. Apparently we were the only ones to complain! I’m sorry to say that either that wasn’t the truth or other people have very low expectations…????***AVOID VILLA TIENDA ALUDIA AT ALL COST!***
Discusting In Every Way Bad Company
I had to cancel my villa giving over 8 months notice, the actually kept my £500 are you having a laugh,
The villa will be booked again so you loose nothing , admin foes not cist £500
You are despicable money grabbing company who should be ashamed of yourselves,
Any other travel company take the admin cost of up to 120 but oh no not you £500 do you do book it in gold

Villa Casa Gardenia (new Villa In Gale, Albufeira) £5000pw
Please do not book a villa what so ever with this irresponsible company. We booked a 'new' 2 floor villa, so you expect some expertise being emphasised in the details of a property, especially when there are 4 villas that have been built 'WRONG' disability access and safety of a property was not assessed what so ever. Discrimination became evident, a possible manslaughter case could have happened. Possible health issue could have become apparent. In essence, we booked a 4 en-suite bedroom villa for our family of 10. We questioned the outlay of the villa and explained our needs for our disabled personnel. We were asked to fill their disabled needs form in, they returned with the villa was accessible. Guess what, the bath with shower over was on the ground floor! That was our first complaint on arrival - they had no other villas for us. We are (retired) and had to carry our 17stone son into the bath. 2.The swimming pool had no signs anywhere of a incline of a quick 2ft- I nearly drowned with my grandson due to the quick sheer drop and disorientation - If I didnt have my family there to save us this could have been a fatality on their hands. 3. The bins were 1/2 a mile away, so we had to walk everyday with our refuge to avoid flies and an health issue - This is a £5k villa and no maintenance to bins at the front of the property! 4. The water on arrival was cold, we found that out with a cold shower - maintenance arrived and said the owners had put the boiler temp down! he put it up for us. 5. No condiments left of coffee, tea, sugar, salt , pepper etc etc - we had to buy all and leave what we didnt use. I complaint on return, 11 wks later and they reply with they are not responsible and it is written in their details, I looked at their details, and sure enough they have changed them and the pictures - Lucky for me I kept the original and using as evidence! Just do not use them!
What A Shower They Are
What a shower they are. They cancel your holiday and refund the money with out any consideration of what you have paid in terms of Car hire Transfers and flights. All you hear from them is "It's our policy" which is of no help whatsoever. The alternative Villas they suggested were more than twice the price of what we paid. No help towards the cost of this was offered as it's their policy just to refund. So we are hung out to dry by Villa Plus. When speaking, she constantly interrupted and wouldn't listen. The standard of the Villas has dropped over the years and I thought that given the pandemic situation they would have tried really hard to get as many positive reviews as they could. For instance earlier this year when in one of their villas in Portugal they wouldn't even provide bin bags. How many people take bin bags on holiday. All the small things that used to be provided are no longer available unless you buy a seriously overpriced welcome pack. Cutting corners is one thing but obliterating the services that were previously available is totally wrong. All in the name of profit and not having any duty of care for the client. Perhaps they should rename themselves as Villa Minus. My husband is waiting for a phone call who I hope will have discussed our situation with her manager.
The Pictures Shown Of Villas Are Not Up To Date.
Lovely pictures of villa. In reality that is not we arrived to. There were work men there trying to fix electrics/broken door handle that was hanging off on the patio door. Air conditioning broke. Swimming pool you could see through as there was so much green slime in it. That was after it had been cleaned. The place hadn’t been cleaned as it had large dead cockroaches on the floor in the bedroom. It was supposed to be a luxury Villa, we would have got nicer in Blackpool in a 2 star. The whole place needed gutted. Rep said it was tired!!!!It hasn’t been touched in 10 years at least.
