Checked In, Checked Out
We arrived at church Farm excited but as we got through the gate we thought where is everything?..we got our keys to our deluxe caravan and it was ok ish. Its was clean and looked reasonably new, although almost all of the net curtains were ripped and the mattresses were cheaper than cheap. The telly turnt off when you moved it.
We unpacked straight away and set off to explore. We found our way to the "complex" and discovered the swimming pool which is no more than a paddling pool. Feeling disheartened we set off for the park and that monstrosity is what sent us straight to reception for a refund and drive back home disappointed. We did stop at the bar for dinner before we left. The food is over priced and terrible. SORT IT OUT!!!

Disgusting Ripoff Lies !!!
From the moment we pulled up outside our 'prestige' £700 4 night caravan I knew it didn't look good and I was right ! The inside was worse , the big fridge wasn't working ( we weren't notified ! ) and a small pathetic replacement thing was placed in the caravan . The picture on wall was hanging off , burns on sofa , lavish interior what a joke . We went and complained at reception and there was nothing they could do ! Then we got into our bed , the cheapest nastiest mattress I have ever experienced !!! The park entertainment in appalling and poor , swimming pool ? Where ? I see nothing bigger than a paddling pool , I have photographed everything and will be taking it further , I'm not interested in a full or any refund , I want people to know !! Do not go to church farm haven !! Or waste your money on this company !!

Great
i have recently just got back from church farm haven, it was my 1st time going there so wasn't to sure what to expect but it is a nice holiday camp. there are a few activities you can do such as swimming, bike kart hire, archery, water sports, arcade and some other activities. all the staff were polite and friendly and helpful at all times. there are 2 shops on site (one is inside the club house), caravan was very clean. we went to the club house a few evenings but we didn't really like the entertainment as it's more for children than adults. there is a restaurant / bar you can eat at and also a take away place but can be a bit expensive. we didn't go off site so not to sure how far the camp is from nearest town

We Visited This Site In October 2010, But It Is Li
We visited this site in October 2010, but it is living on past successes. We were greeted with a pile of dog mess outside our caravan, and the caravan hadn't been cleaned. This was put right after complaining, but the swimming pool changing rooms were absolutely filthy, and staff were simply disinterested. In fact the reception staff - well they need retraining.
Having stayed at Littlesea, and Caister without problem, all I can say is avoid Church Farm. It is dirty and unsafe for children!
Just for your information we as a family have never used the Haven mobile homes - we have always hired the privately owned mobile homes and we found they put their own personal touches into them. I am going with my little boy this weekend for a week in a privately owned van which cost us £200 for the week instead of over £600 for the week. We have to pay for the entertainment passes but they're only £31 for an adult and £15 I think for a child..It's Well worth looking into...The website is called ukcaravans4hire and it brings the areas you want to go to etc...

Took Family To Church Farm For The Haloween Weeken
Took family to Church Farm for the haloween weekend. Entertainment was very limited. Great if you liked singers as that was all that was on offer. They also decided to allow all the owners to enter the entertainment lounge one hour before anyone else so when you did get in there were no seats left for the Haloween party. Those who booked the weekend via Haven were in fact second class citizens. Been to many other commercial sites and have never had this situation before. Would advise anyone booking a Haven Holiday special weekend to check if this is happening on your selected site and if so kick up a fuss as you do infact pay more pro rata per night than the owners do.

Just Come Back From A Week At Haven Church Farm. W
Just come back from a week at Haven Church Farm. Was abit worried about the park as the reviews on it have not been too good. However we were pleasantly surprised. Our caravan was very clean apart from the bed sheets that had dried blood on them, luckly i aways bring my own sheet. We also discovered that the dvd player was broke so called reception for it to be fixed, was told someone will come round to have a look but never did. So had to call again and we were given a new dvd player. The caravan was about a 5 minute walk to the main complex. The staff in the mash and barrel bar/lounge were very friendly as were the kids entertainers(the fun stars). The kids entertainment was good my three year old enjoyed it.The staff in the shop on the camp site were very friendly however there was not much stock in the shop and what there is was very over priced. So we ended up going to the local supermarket instead. In all we had a very nice holiday at church farm would recommend it to a friend.

I Have Just Had A 4 Night Stay At Church Farm With
I have just had a 4 night stay at Church Farm with my son. The standard accomodation was more than adequate although the gas fire was difficult to ignite on a cold autumn evening or morning. As expected with a lot of burden on the hot water system at peak times the hot water for showers etc didn't stay hot for long but I was ready for this and we showered 'off peak'!!! The staff were all wonderful and couldn't do enough be it in the entertainment complex or the swimming pool etc. The breakfasts were fantastic and value for money as was the dinner menu!! Shame about the weather. In all, the holiday was truly enjoyable and we left with good memories of Church Farm. Would defo recommend to others!!!

Just Came Back From There, Booked Through Sun News
Just came back from there, booked through sun newspaper as we refused to pay the extortionate prices! this was advertised as a 5 star park, I would class it was a 3 star, the grounds were well amintained, so lovely if Youa into walking etc. But as for the accomodation, well I would give it a 2 star! the caravan we stayed in was a standard so I didnt expect luxury, just bog standard in which it was, but it was quite clammy and dirty. We didnt complain cos We just wanted to use it as a base and couldnt be bothered! our 2 year old daughter was with us, and sleeps in the travel cot, We had to put a single bed on top of another in order to get her cot in the room. The facilities were pretty useless to be honest! the local Spar shop shut at 6pm, so we had to go to the local Tescos Express just down the road, The fish and chip shop on site was closed all throughout our stay so we had no choice but to eat at the mash n barrel (a Wetherspoons type of pub) which served up nice food if You like it microwaved! the entertainment was repetitive, same thing EVERY night, it more more aimed at the over 7s as opposed to all ages. Although between 6-7pm was more suited for toddlers. We left shortly after it finished as my daughter kept getting knocked down by the older kids when they were playing the games. so alot more thought is needed. The swimming pool is alot smaller than what it looks like in the picture advertised. it states in the information guide the receptionist gives you when you check in that the pool is open from 9am, but that in fact is to the caravan owners, not for the likes of us!- We was alloed in att 9.45am so beware of that! I have to say that the staff was fabulous, polite and always smiling.
The park is good to use as a base if you are planning on loads of trips, but certainly not as a holiday type based site.
