Haven Holidays, Weymouth Bay

Location very good easy walk to the beach .

The caravan we stayed in was clean not amazing.

I think the campsite is to big for the facilities so unable to cope with booking system.

I recommend to down load the app as soon as you can and book your slots before you go to avoid disappointment.

Didn't eat at the campsite so can't comment.

The staff were great very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately due to the booking of the facilities we won't be going again .

Reception staff unhelpful, non compassionate, rude and unprofessional

Left after 18 hours due to safety circumstances

Was supposed to be getting credit note as agreed with reception and it hasn't been received. Also didn't check us out when we left first thing Tuesday morning even though keys were returned to security Monday night.

Nice park but Reception in need of training and to follow through with agreements

Our stay at Weymouth Bay was dreadful from start to finish, we'll actually we didn't get to finish our holiday it was that bad we left 2 days early.

When we arrived at our caravan it said it had been cleaned...NO it had not! It was filthy!! Dirty floors, dust, dirty toilet, hair all in the shower tray, poo on the toilet wall, the kitchen side had food crumbs on it, cup marks all over the table, food and hair left on the floor, the toaster had seen better days, the bedding had stains oh it. When we went to reception to ask for the van to he cleaned again we didn't exactly get a warm welcome, staff seamed rude and not really bothered about the state we found our caravan to be in.

The clubhouse wasn't much better empty pizza boxes and dirty glasses left piled up on empty tables, bar staff miserable as hell and the entertainment was dreadful! Half the staff looked like they didn't even want to be there.

The food was rubbish and overpriced.

The pool was cold and had little flys floating around.

The toilets in the arcade area had overflowing bins and smelt of wee.

I will never go back it was the worst haven holiday iv ever been too.

Where do i start, worst Haven site i have ever been on. We was told if the blue sticker is on the door we can go into our van that it has been cleaned and ready to go in. It really hadn't been cleaned it was disgusting. The cleaners seriously need to go on a cleaning course if that's what they say is clean. Went into the van floors was dirty hadn't been hovered or mopped, nothing had been cleaned down from the previous people that had been in there, still had a black bag outside the door full of rubbish that was still there when we left hadn't even been cleaned up and i definitely wasn't moving it, i don't go on holiday to clean up other people's rubbish, the shower screen looked like it hadn't ever been cleaned, none of the beds had been made in both rooms, pubic hairs in the shower round the toilets, stains on the duvets and mattresses no covers on them, cup marks on the kitchen work surface. Mold up the corners in all rooms, stained carpets in the bedrooms and stains on the sofa, cobwebs anywhere you looked in all rooms. Kitchen appliances dirty hadn't been cleaned. The van really had a bad smell to it. Went to reception to tell them didn't seem bothered said someone will come over within the next 2 hours so we went out 3 hours later came back for it still to be the same went back to reception to be told still waiting for a cleaner i told them this shouldn't even be happening it should of been cleaned before our arrival, so the receptionist went to speak to the cleaning manager she told me he will come over to the van to speak to me i went back waited for 2 kids to knock the door i said are you the manager the lad said no but he's sent me to deal with it showed him what was wrong he said we can do a deep clean now for you so i said okay we went back out to leave them to it, came back i don't know what he meant by a deep clean but it definitely wasn't a deep clean. It did smell a bit better but didn't last very long all that was done they made the beds and mopped the floor. I ended up cleaning the kitchen myself i wiped the work surface with some dettol wipes they was disgusting it clearly had been done in a very long time. To be honest it wasn't a very good start to the holiday and i didn't want to be there, it just felt dirty and not clean and cosy how it should do. Went to the pool cold and not very clean either. As for the staff all rude no people skills what so ever and all moody. Security  guards very aggressive and intimidating with attitudes think their jobs have gone to their heads (really). It's like they don't want us there don't know why its how they came across if it wasn't for us they wouldn't have jobs. As for Weymouth very disappointed not what i thought, don't know if its how the site has been that has made me feel like that not what i thought it would be like at all won't be going back nothing really to do got bored. Its just not a resort for families. Had food in the mash and barrel not very good cold and over cooked didn't go back in there to eat again. Seriously need to sort their cleaning situation out how they are still open i just don't know. Also they have got underage staff working behind the bar i won't say her name but she is only 16 serving alcohol. I would keep away from the place not good family environment.

We visited weymouth bay for a weekend break as we had been years before and enjoyed it. This was not the case this time. Caravan was not cleaned properly, curtains hanging off where track was broken. Fire and Bluetooth speaker did not work. All this was reported to reception on first day. The only thing rectified was the cleaning issue. Entertainment was awful. Restaurant and bar overpriced and food was awful. We only used onsite restaurant once. Staff were rude, too busy chatting. Papa John's was good but prices were greatly inflated. The mini market was very expensive, luckily a spa outside to buy bread milk etc. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

Before you think of puchassing a van at this site please do your homework and have an I dependant survey done on the van.

The van we purchased was previously owned by an eighty year old woman who paid around £44000 for it and Haven seriously damaged the van while siting it for her including twisted chassis, dropped windows and doors, holes in the interior walls. She was promised another van of the same quality but they never came up with that and she spent the next few seasons trying to get it repaired properly which was never done.

She relied on having to rent out the van in order to be able to stay there but after four years they then told her the van was not suitable to rent anymore and she had no choice but to sell it back to them and they informed her the van would only be used for their entertainments people and gave her £8000 back for it------ she was heartbroken.

Three weeks later they sold it to us for around £22000 and encouraged us to rent it but never informed us the van had previously been seriously damaged by them. We started to get serious water ingress in the van damaging wall boards,carpets and curtains and asked for a full refund which was refused by the site manager.

We engaged a solicitor and produced all the emails from the previous owners and photographs clearly showing the damaged caused by Haven and were eventually offered a refund for the van but not the site fees even though we had not been able to use one of the bedrooms at all.

The site manager clearly lied to us saying that he had no knowledge of the van being damaged but we had all the previous correspodance and his name was always involved.

How Haven treated the previous owners and then tried to do the same to us is absolutely disgusting and the site manager there has no morals as does not care about how he treat OAPS

we booked this Easter break for our son and his family, cost us over £600 for a week. The place they stayed in was freezing , they told reception who said they would fix it . They have a five year old and a five month old baby and from their second day they all had to sleep in the lounge to stay warm. We are appalled by the way they have been treated . We would never reccomend this to anyone and will not stay there again . What should have been a nice relaxing break for them turned into a nightmare. The money you charge you would at least expect the heating to be good . You should be ashamed .

Site overall good, but as you are allocated on arrival, you need to be aware that in Ascot you are near a church where the bells chime every 15 mins throughout the night, so no sleep !! They should advise you of the site number when booking as other sites do, so you can avoid

Staff very friendly and helpful, busy at check in as they will only allow you to book in 10 mins before 4pm even if you arrive early.

2 pubs and 2 chip shops on the main road 5 mins from main entrance

had good holiday but disappointed toddler pool not open due to heater broken. could use Sea view site but long walk to it. first morning had good breakfast fresh fruit & yogurt next morning same order came with tin fruit after commenting on this it was replaced with fresh fruit did wonder if standards were being maintained .staff very helpful and friendly which made up for the short Cummings.
