Spent A Week At Sandford September 2010 And Had A

Spent a week at Sandford September 2010 and had a lovely time. From the time of arriving we felt very welcome and the only problem we had was put right immediately. My daughter and her family of 11 month old boy and a 2 1/2 year old girl and her partner also had a caravan there at the same time.

The children were very well catered for by a team of staff with activities every day. The caravan and the whole camp was very clean. The bus stop was at the gate so we did not have to use the car to visit Poole and surrounding area.

I would recommend this camp to anyone.

This Was Our First Park Dean Holiday And I Am Very

This was our first Park Dean holiday and i am very pleased to say that we would definitley book again. The staff were fantastic and the caraven was very clean and tidy. We spent most evenings in the main hall with the park troopers, we have two children one 6yrs and one 2yrs, both our children enjoyed all the games and singing. They catered very well for both of them.

I felt i wanted to write a review as prior to this trip all the reviews I had seen was giving a very negative feeling I would like to say that for us this was NOT the case.

Well done to all the staff and especially the PARK DEAN TROOPERS!!

Sandford Weststar Holiday Park Has Gone Down Hill

Sandford Weststar Holiday Park has gone down hill this year. we have been many times but noticed a big difference in the cleaniness and overall appearance of the park.none of the staff abide by the one-way system or the 10mph speed limit.they are the worst offenders!

No security walking around park as previous years.

The only thing that hasnt changed were the fabulous troopers who work so hard and are great entertainers for all ages. well done guys.

Need to improve to get our money next year.

We Have Just Returned From 4 Nights Camping At Wes

We have just returned from 4 nights camping at Weststar Holiday Parks. First, the toilet facilities are shocking! Filthy is an understatement. the facilities were appauling. No hot water. Very low pressure, we all felt dirty the whole time we were there. No toilet paper!

No soap. No locks on doors! No one was checking the facilities. The childrens play area amounts to a "boat". What a waste of time. We were packed in like sardines, lots of drunk adults swearing late at night! Security was none existant! didn,t get any apololgies or anything positive, lots of excuses. The "entertainment" was so loud and awful we declined to go, an insult to our intelligence!

It is like camping on a motorway, traffic at fast speed everywhere, very noisey, bin collection and lots of other noise. We ordered coffee from Costa, no spoons they had ran out. NEVER AGAIN...discraceful!

Parkdean Holidays, Sandford Park, Nr Poole. We Ha

PARKDEAN HOLIDAYS, Sandford Park, Nr Poole. We have recently returned from Sandford Park having loved going as children. The site has no rules cars drive around the site at all times of night which resulted in the car of one of our group being damage by someone returning to their pitch in the early hours of the morning. Luckily the car was parked across the tent so noone was hurt but the culprit didn't stop and the lack of CCTV prevented us finding them. We were pitched next to the stables which sounds idilic but the stable house a huge skip brimming over with waste which resulted in a daily infestation of wasps and beetles at night, not just one or two but hundreds so the floor was literally crawling, shower and toilet facilities were filthy dirty and not frequently chceked security were largely ineffective not doing anything about frequently speeding drivers or the camper who felt it fine to swear in the worst way 2 feet from my 4 and 6 year old neice and nephew. Food was fine first night but on my last night I was served rotten cauliflower and when I complained the chef refused to listen and instead kept shouting it baked I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning to the site. All in all a disaster

Booked A Sun Offer Holiday At Parkdean Sandford, A

Booked a Sun offer holiday at Parkdean Sandford, as we did not pay much we did not expect much. However we were pleasently surprised, Got large caravan, not the latest model but it was clean and well equipped and everything worked ok (unlike the expensive "prestige" one we booked last year from another company it was a filthy dump) we also found the site clean and tidy with lots of trees and bushes, not just rows and rows of caravans. we did not go to all the entertainment but what we saw was good. There is also a bus stop at the gate with a service to Poole and Swanage

We Have Just Come Back From A 4 Night Break At Wes

we have just come back from a 4 night break at Weststar parkdean sandford and were very impressed. we have a child of 7 and of 2 years old and there was plenty for them to do. They both went to the free kids clubs and were allowed to go to both totstars and freelanders together even though thet were different ages. Great value for money and better than some Haven parks we have been to.

This Was Our 5th Holiday With Parkdean Formerly We

This was our 5th holiday with Parkdean formerly West-star, we had been to Sandford twice before, before it got modernised. Was impressed with what they had done to the site moving the outdoor pool, new restaurant etc, accomodation was a big let down, we have been to Parkdean/Weststar Mullion and their accommodation is spotless and well presented. On entering our caravan, it smelt like someone had been storing seaweed in it, it had obviously not been used for the majority of the summer and was damp, this was confirmed as we found all the room heaters on in a attempt to dry out the rooms, the kitchen worktops had crumbs and dust on. We didn't pay as much as we usually do for our holiday and this was reflected in the state of the accommodation, my advice is pay a bit more for a newer model, if your expecting some sort of 5* caravan experience look elsewhere!
