Early Christmas And Nye Party

We have just returned from RS and have had a fantastic time!

On arrival the person I dealt with greeted us with her usual warm, friendly welcome!

Our caravan was perfect, we’d paid for an extra wide and this suited us.

Our accommodation was clean and well equipped.

Tamworth and his team were amazing as usual - we really hope RS manages to keep Tam as he has transformed the entertainment at this park and he is a true asset!

The Christmas and NYE party was a great success in our opinion - our party of 21 were all impressed and had great fun!

The only thing that slightly lost us on the night was the kids ‘elf’ entertainment did drag on - we’d have preferred it to be half the time with disco instead but that’s just our preference!

The food was good and the bar/restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.

The lifeguard manager and her team were very accommodating and even swapped some activities round so that our kids didn’t miss out (due to the England match!)

The only gripe (the same for every visit) we had were the unruly kids onsite (please can security do more patrols?) and just the general inconsideration of other people with regards to loud booming (hideous) music, shouting at 3am and screaming kids at 7am!

We manage to not affect others whilst being there, just don’t understand people’s selfish mentalities inflicting their unnecessary noise but hey ho..... the treatment we receive from the staff truly makes the holiday for us - we’ll definitely be back!

Gone To This Place Twice This Year Using My Clubca

Gone to this place twice this year using my clubcard vouchers will return to this place every year. The gold caravans that i have booked seem to mostly be privately owned so they may have double glazing a veranda etc all the extra tocuhes that you wouldn't get say at a Havens or other caravan sites. Nice and quiet at night which is a positive. Not much to do at the beach but a 5mins drive away is Dymchurch beach which has arcades, funfair cafes and shops. Also at Dymchurch beach they done donkey rides on the beach for young children. This place is very low key and is not really geared towards 18-30s or teenagers. Perfect for young families and older people. They have childrens entertainment and for adults in the eve. A arcade small shop selling papers and small outdoor play area for children. Indoor pool. I have also stayed in a silver caravan which was privately owned that had booked with Park Resorts was also nice.

I Worked For Withernsea Park Resorts And Know How

I worked for Withernsea Park Resorts and know how the place is run. There is no authority as most of the staff members employ friends so the jobs are not done to a satisfactory standard.Very bad attittudes.Very ignorant!!! And whom i wouldnt personally allow to clean my toilet. (there is a minoroty of people there who do have standards and do a very good job.)Whilst i was there on many occasions they left the bedding on after the first caravaners had stayed to keep the costs down!(which i never allowed to happen!!!) The cleaners are not given the oppropraite cleaning time, so cutlery may be left unclean. The entertainment is not always on, and the pictures in the brochures are NOT as they seem. There is not much of a park to be honest, a zip wire and that is all. There is no renting of any kind, from go karts to bikes. And the pool is big enought for all of about 10 people!!! I am expressing these opinions as i feel it is unfare of how misleading the web site and brochure are, and feel there are many more places couples and familys would enjoy for a LOT less in price!and recieve better hospitality and respect as a holiday is ment to be care free.

Park Resorts, Romney Sands Is Clean And Very Tidy

Park Resorts, Romney Sands is clean and very tidy and has 24 hour security. For a small site it has quite good facilities a modern small clubhouse with entertainment most evenings a clean swimming pool indoors and a seperate large childrens pool. There is not much to do in the area but for a relaxing holiday we thought it was really good. The miniture steam railway stops at this site and will take you to New Romney and Hythe where there are a few shops to look around. This site is good for small children but maybe not for teenagers.
