Summerfields Holiday Village, Norfolk

We holidayed at Summerfields 6-10 October.

Although out of season, we were still looked after and entertained.

In the morning we were greeted by the lovely lady, always smiling, who took our breakfast order.

Cooked to perfection I might add.

The bar in the evening was always cheerful and has a great sense of humour.

The entertainers were great.

He has an excess of energy, that is contagious,he is so happy all the time and always on the go.

If you are lucky enough to meet this lady, you are in for a treat. The voice on that woman is phenomenal.

Her Soul night was amazing.

Accommodation was great, clean and contained all we needed.

Plenty of car parking.

Will definitely be going back again, will try in season next time.

Excellent staff and park ,great food reasonable price ,great entertainment, would definitely recommend a holiday at Summerfields. Been to the park last three years keep coming back great value for money.

We stayed in August 2010 - two adults, 1 child aged 9 and 1 child aged 10 months. We booked a two bedroomed chalet. There was no where to put our travel cot in either of the bedrooms so our youngest had to sleep in the living room. The chalet we were allocated was directly behind the main entertainment bar which went on beyond midnight on most nights. We could hear everything making it very difficult to get our baby to sleep. What should have been a relaxing week away left us feeling more tired than if we were at home. We chose this site because it had a pool and kids club. These were the only positive features.

We will definitely be returning again as we've been here three times already and always found it excellent,we enjoy the entertainment very much the accomodation is basic but very clean and comfortable the food in bobbys diner is top rate and delicious overall brillant and the best we've been on would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in a Caravan on the Summerfields site for a week, the first time we had ever done this! and had a really enjoyable experience. The facilities were excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. As a family we enjoyed our visits to the swimming pool and the childrens entertainment in the showbar in the evening. We would not hesitate to recommend this park to anyone.

Have been going to Summerfields for many years now, the evening ents is mainly based on children, in the early evening then it has the normal talent, miss summerfields. and the blue coats

The entertaiment team has change in the last few years as I must say is not as good, but they all work very hard, must be difficult to keep everyone happy all of the time.

Bobby's diner is the food option on site, give it a miss, not the best. go off site about a 3 min walk you hve a fish & chip shop, moments restuarant and Abigails all of which we have tried and all very good food and value for money.

The swimming pool is great for the whole family with a spa (free) and saunas (fee)

The accomadation is very basic, but it copes for all your needs, electric is by card meter. (one of the cheapest places to stay near Great yarmouth) great if you are using as a base.

the staff are all very friendly and if there are any maintance issues they are resloved very quickly.

The beach is only a 5 min walk, very clean 7 child friendly.

Over all this is a cheap BASE to stay, dont expect the Ritz.... you wont get that.

The price makes it seem like a good deal but I would really recommend you pay more to stay somewhere else. Far from enjoying my Summerfields Holiday Village holiday we found the whole experience unpleasant as the accommodation was that poor and our dealings with the staff there eventually became quite upsetting.

Month later I'm still waiting for a reply from head office regarding written complaint, wouldn't knowingly use this company again or recommend Summerfields Holiday Village.
