Simply The Best
A wonderful site. We visit time after time. The owners are exceptionally friendly and polite. Those who want to complain because they are quite rightly told to be quiet due to talking after 11 pm are being totally selfish and unfair. Others do not want noise after that time. The setting is stunning and the site offers freedom, beauty and spectacular views. Ideal for both adults and children.

A Very Special Place!
I cannot believe the reviews given here. There must be another place of the same name because we have stayed at Nant-y-Big now for the last three years and do not have a bad word to say about them. From the first phone call to the meet and greet too the daily joke and chat there is nothing more the owners and staff could do to make our stay any better really! They always seem to have time to stop and have a chat if we want or just a wave in the morning is lovely too. So informative and helpful. The rules they have are to the benefit of good like minded people that want a clean, calming relaxing break. It is not for late parties and nightlife so just do not go there. We don't want you ither! Cannot wait to go back again next year. Thank you to The Jones Family for allowing my family and friends to come and stay.

Absolute Pillock Of A Site Owner!
Now, as a welsh man, I am proud to support welsh businesses and tourism in our beautiful country! And Cilan headland is indeed a beautiful place, but take my advice as someone who has stayed at nant y big campsite on numerous occasions over the past 5 years, with different parties, and I can honestly say the owners of this site are unfortunately welsh nationalists. People like this are ruining our reputation and making us appear as 'country bumpkins', stupid and arrogant. I am making a formal complaint to Discover Gwynedd, the official Gwynedd Tourism Office, so that new people to the area are warned about little plebs like this! You know who you are! You should be ashamed of yourself. Im happy to boycott you.
Best advice, take your tent down onto porth ceiriad beach, you'll have a peaceful, undisturbed party and unhassled nights sleep!
So glad to come across this review. We stayed one night but I lost it by the end to my own demise. What a creep this owner is. He seems to victimise anyone in his stupid path. Sad thing is, people seem to pander to his rules. No wonder the world is a mess. Concentration camp in a field.

Very Aggressive Owner
In a similar encounter to the previous review, we too experienced a very aggressive site owner. Where we were sat up in our tents chatting at just after 11pm x2 couples with sleeping children, we suddenly had a torch glared in through the tent window and shouted at 'to go to bed, and I will be back in 5 minutes to check you are all in bed!!'. This made 4 grown up adults feel like little naughty school children and completely ruined our evening and made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. We were doing absolutely nothing wrong, the owners patrol the site like vultures looking to pounce on a paying guest for doing anything they might not allow. You are made to feel you are doing these people a favor by staying on their campsite.
The toilets and facilities are also very bog standard and for the cost of the camping a rip off.
The owners also restrict access to one of Wales's most beautiful beaches and have a very high level system to heavily fine anyone who waits to decide whether to park or not.
It is such a shame as it is such a beautiful and stunning part of the country, if the site was managed in a correct way and facilities improved the site would be unreal. But the sad fact is the owners here are rude and aggressive and seem like anyone who stays and pays them money is then subject to very controlled unrelaxed rules, something which does not mix well when you want a relaxing holiday away from the stresses of life.
I will not be returning to this campsite that's for sure!
Very Aggressive Owner Who In His Own Words 'did No
Very aggressive owner who in his own words 'did not want to run this business' and made our stay very unpleasant. He showed both rude and threatening behaviour towards our group (two couples) and made it clear we were a huge inconvenience to his weekend! You will not get a nice welcome from these people, they dont want to run this business (their words not mine!) and so i am baffled as to why they allowed us on to their land.
Nant-y-big Park Is A Wonderful Spot Right Near A B
Nant-y-big Park is a wonderful spot right near a beach which is a short walk away. There are 3 fields you can camp in, one of which is on the edge of a cliff. The views are spectactular. Facilitoes are basic but clean. A great place if you want to get away from it all. You pay 8 pound a person per night to camp which is reasonable. A tip- dont camp on the edge of the cliff if you know the weather is going to bad, as you will be too exposed. One night we had torrential rain and galeforce winds which was not fun!
Nant-y-big Park Abersoch Is A Lovely Site Been Goi
Nant-y-big Park Abersoch is a lovely site been going for years. we usually camp up on the top field which is great with spectacular views of the sea and the kids love going body-boarding on the huge waves, plus great caves to explore on sealine and sometimes been known to see dolphins. lovely shady beach with a very steep set of steps to get back up fom the beach but who cares for the steps when you see the great veiws. Love this site and would recommend to anyone who likes camping. the toilets are very basic but just they do their job well. the people who own this campsite are very friendly and pleasant and help with any issues established.......
Great Campsite... Magnificent Views And Right By T
Great campsite... Magnificent views and right by the beach. Exposed to wind and with poor facilities. Great campsite with magnificent views and only a 5 minute walk from the beach. Truly beautiful campsite!

Good Points Of Nant-y-big Park, Location To The Be
Good points of Nant-y-big Park, location to the beach. Bad points poor facilities. Despite charges per night the facilities provided are very basic to say the least.
