Porthclais Farm Campsite,Porthclais, St Davids

Just come back from a fabulous week at Porthclais Farm Camp site. This is a most picturesque camp site. The views over most of the fields are of St Brides Bay and beyond and can only be described as breathtaking. Easy access albeit a gentle stroll to St Davids taking about 15mins and only seconds from the coastal path. One word of advise would be to make sure your tent is well positioned as the winds definitely test the tent poles. All amenities are good with showers and toilets cleaned regularly, however, there is no laundry facilities. All in all a definite visit for everyone.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday in June this year at Porthclais Farm near St Davids in Pembroksshire. We had ample space to ourselves on a level well mown field adjacent to the coastal path and Porthclais harbour.

There are sandy beaches only a short distance away at Caerfai and Whitesands. Our chidren enjoyed many local activities and we hired bikes and toured the area.

We walked to St Davids on a footpath across the farm. St Davids is a village city with shops (including a supermarket), pubs and restaurants.

We launched our small dinghy in the harbour and our children spent many happy hours crabbing.

Altogether an excellent camping site for a marvellous family holiday
