We Had An Awful Time On This Boat. We Had Booked A

We had an awful time on this boat. We had booked a 3 day cruise from Luxor to Aswan. This trip was sold to us by Osheen tours in Hurghada as 5 star but elsewhere we see it is 4 star. Either way, if you are european or from the US, dont be fooled by this. This is egyptian 4/5 star and not european 4/5 star. There is a big difference!

The rooms were dirty, towels were grey, decor was low grade.

Staff were rude and generally unhelpful(particularly kitchen staff).

Swimming Pool water was cloudy so we avoided the pool.

There were no exchange facilities for money,& do not accept credit cards for payment, you must handover the correct money or they have no change.

You are contstantly pestered by massage staff to spend £$' for a massage and hassled by the shop staff selling the usual fake tat that you see on the streets as you go up or down the central stairs.

The lunch time buffet was passable but the evening meal was a set meal and not of particularly high quality. Breakfast buffet was also poor with cold tea/coffee and stale bread rolls.

No water with meals unless you pay for it. No tea or coffee offered after meals (except breakfast), staff hurried everyone out within 30 minutes of sitting down often taking your plate away before you had barely finished your last bite.

We witnessed on two occasions kitchen staff on the lower deck throwing rubbish overboard into the river ,bottles ,cans and food waste.

Television operated with a broken remote control and we had a grainy polish channel one evening and an arabic channel on another. When we asked for more channels nothing was done about it.

The boat was mainly filled with polish passengers and there were a few younger australian backpackers onboard.

This boat in no way caters for international passengers and i am shocked at the poor standard this boat operates to.

I would never set foot on this boat again and i would urge others not to. Don't be lured by a cheap price you'll be disappointed.Thankgoodness the view of the Nile and the visits to temples helped take our mind off it, there are better conditions and service on an english channel car ferry.
