NCL, Norwegian Dawn

We travelled as a family of 6, it was our 2nd cruise. NCL Freestyle cruising is for us as we like to relax and dress informally. Both cabins were clean and room staff were great, creating towel animals each evening in the balcony cabin which my daughter loved!

Porthole cabin was on 4th floor and was rather noisy and cramped for 4 people. Balcony cabin was quite spacious but only really big enough for 2.

Food was good with a wide choice, especially breakfast, we only used the inclusive restaurant so did not pay extra for food. Soft drinks/smoothies

etc were pricey. Mini bar was extremely expensive and confusing we were charged for drinks we couldnt prove we hadnt had, so beware!

Trips were very good and well organised on the whole, however they were quite pricey, but enabled you to relax especially with children.

Children's club was good especially for younger children and could be used even when in port for a charge.

Plenty of room around pool, in theatre and restaurants to sit down. Lots to do, shows were good but only 2 in a week, one a night would have been better, other entertainment was average.

Sun deck could have done with more shaded areas, so balcony was very useful.

Hand hygiene was excellent and taken very seriously.

Over all had a great holiday, caribbean beautiful, would recommend!
