Don’t Trust

Memory card from dash cam missing

Car dropped back to arrivals at night

So had a quick look around car all seemed ok

Drove home didn’t take any notice of dash cam until a couple of days later it came up with insert memory card

Checked hole for card to discover it missing so rang to ask what happened, was told they would get back to me , rang again a week later to be told that didn’t have it and that have no reason to take it out but it’s gone missing between dropping off and when I picked it up, then I was told they disconnect them because of laws and regulations , so was my car parked somewhere it shouldn’t have been as it was dropped off and picked up in the exit lane terminal 3.

So not interested in what I’m saying

Why would I take it out and say it’s them

Have used lots of companies at different London airports never had a problem before

So it’s your choice if you use this company

Avoid This Company, Untrustworthy

Avoid this company, very unprofessional and unreliable. When we dropped the car off they confused the date and were not there to pick the car up, even though we confirmed 20mins before we arrived as specified . When we picked the car up after 11 hour flight they were not there and then they told us to meet them at Fkight Departures drop . They were over 40mins late.

The car had MacDonalds rubbish in it and empty drink bottle.

They had gone through all our storage areas in the car.

Untrustworthy and unreliable, poor service, drop off and collect points not as expected.

Do Not Use!

Absolutely shocking service! We arrived at the airport, and after making several phone calls, an man approached us saying he was to take our car. He had no documentation on him, no uniform and the only form of identification we could obtain was his driver's licence. The company kept calling us on HIS mobile to say he was legitimate, but for all we knew it could have been a mate of his. When we tried to call the company, it just rang and rang and rang!! They promised us that they would be able to get the documentation to us, but it would take half an hour! We wuld have been in danger of missing our flight, so we took photos of the driver and his driver's licence and reluctantly handed over our keys! Luckily, our car was there when we arrived back, but half a tank of petrol had been used, the sunroof opened (and consequently jammed) and the car smelling of damp since the sunroof had been left open! We will NEVER use this company again.

Absolutly Useless

On first take this company seems ok . . . believe me they are not!

I have used the several times and every time they are late when it comes to bringing your car back. This IS NOT a meet and greet service but a meet and wait ages for your car service!

Its quicker and less stressful to use the bus to one of the main car parks.

It Is What It Is...

Got to Terminal, car was collected 5 minutes late but that's okay, got back and rang from the baggage area and they said they where running late (but didnt lie about it or make excuses which is fine) then I got my car at the arrivals gate. Saved £60 on Purple and their bay was next to this one. Will use again.

Horrible

The worst service I've ever had. I followed the correct procedure of meet and greet by ringing twenty mins before i got there so they could meet me.

I kept ringing but in essence they were over 1 hour late and they said it was my fault somehow!

A Cautionary Tale: On The Day Of Arriva

A cautionary tale:

On the day of arrival we found traffic was lighter than we had anticipated and we were due to arrive at Heathrow slightly earlier than the booking. We rang Happy Days 15 minutes before our arrival and were told that they would probably not be able to have someone there to meet us at our actual arrival time but that they would try to get someone out by 6.20pm.

We arrived at Heathrow at 6.10pm and when the driver had not turned up at the original booking time of 6.30pm we rang Happy Days to get an update. We were told that the driver had been waiting for us at Terminal 3 and that he would have to walk over to Terminal 1 which would take him 5mins. At this point we decided that my wife should go in and check her bag in order to save some time but that as she could not manage everything that I would take our ski bag with me once the driver arrived. At 6.35pm I rang again and was told that he was on his way and would be there very shortly. When I pointed out that I only had 15 mins before our check in was due to close I was told by an extremely rude operator that there was nothing he could do and I'd just have to wait and he then hung up on me. I rang back a couple of minutes later and asked for the driver's number so that I could find out how far away he was. I then rang the driver who informed me that he'd not left Terminal 3 and would be at least 10 mins. As this would mean that I would miss check-in I phoned the main number again and asked what they were going to do at which point a different but equally rude operator told me that there was nothing that they could do and if I missed my flight I'd just have to claim it on my insurance!! After several more calls back an forth the driver eventually turned up at just gone 6.50pm (20mins after the original booking time and 50mins after our actual arrival at the airport).

By the time I got to the departures building the check-in for my flight had closed. After much pleading with a supervisor the airline agreed to check my ski bag in and let me board. They escorted me through security checks and I then had to run to the opposite end of the airport where the flight had closed but was being held for me. Unfortunately, due to the very late check in my ski bag did not make it to Geneva and we eventually got them back 2 days later.

The airline have confirmed that our ski bag was the only bag on that flight not to be loaded and did not make it on as a direct result of my late check in due to the failure of the happy Days driver not to turn up. In addition, when the driver did turn up he informed us that the reason that he was late was not because he had been dropped off at the wrong terminal but in fact because they did not have enough drivers and he had been waiting for another client to arrive and pick up their car.

I have used numerous meet and greet services in the past and this is my some considerable margin by far the worst I have ever encountered, not just because of the poor service but also due to the rudeness of the staff and the blatant lying.

I complained directly to FHR on our return but they simply passed my email on to Happy Days who then took over a week to reply. When they did reply they blatantly lied to FHR claiming that the lifts in Terminal 3 were not working which is why they had been delayed. I have subsequently rung BAA and they have confirmed that there was no issues with the lifts that day.

So in summary, there is a reason this outfit are the cheapest meet and greet service. I've learnt my lesson and will be paying a little bit more for one of the more reputable services in future - Purple Parking had a rep there all the time I was waiting and I didn't see a single one of their customers have to wait for a driver. You may chose to ignore my advice but if you do, don't be surprised to find yourself pleading to be allowed on to a closed flight!

I Received Confirmation Of My Booking By Email And

I received confirmation of my booking by email and read all the small print (I'm always paranoid about missing flights...). I called them 15 minutes before I arrived at the airport to be told that my booking was cancelled. I did not receive any notification of this by email or telephone and was left to drive around trying to find a car park in the early hours. Thanks to their incompetence and apalling customer service I almost missed my flight. DO NOT USE THEM!

What An Awful Experience! The Staff Were Dirty And

What an awful experience! The staff were dirty and grubby. The person that came to collect the car was later than they said and when we phone (about 3 times) we kept being given contradictory reasons. A day after collecting the car it was established that a theft had occurred whilst the car was in their posession. Still not had a call after 2 weeks even though they say it is under investigation. After repeated emails, this is still not resolved. I will NEVER EVER used these cowboys again and I urge you not to use them either!

We Booked Three Cars For Two Weeks, And Emailed To

We booked three cars for two weeks, and emailed to confirm that the company could cope with three cars at once. The arrival went well and the three cars were received within 5 minutes. The return was a nightmare. It took 1 hour 20 minutes to deliver the three cars to the airport. The first car that arrived had a flat battrey by the time we had the luggage and children loaded, and the third car had to be used to ferry a jump unit. When we came to leave the airport, we found that the car park tickets had expired, and it took a lot of persuasion to renew them. Otherwise we would have had to pay 2 hours parking. The satff were all fed up with the complaints that that had to deal with every weekend. They told us that management refused to put on enough staff to cope with weekend or night customers. I would not recommend happy days parking to anyone.
