Do Not Use - Rip Off Merchants! Despite

DO NOT USE - RIP OFF MERCHANTS!

Despite paying extra for insurance, when our flight was cancelled due to bad weather, did not receive a penny back.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THESE RIP OFF MERCHANTS

After Collecting The Car I Discovered That The Clu

After collecting the car I discovered that the clutch had been badly abused, burned out and required replacement. Also one rear tyre had a flat spot suggesting that somebody had been doing wheelspins. The car was immaculate when left with Q Park. Now requires several hunderd pounds of work to put things right. I am awaiting a response from Q Park (Purple Parking) customer relations.

I Used To Enjoy Using Q-park As It Was Efficient A

I used to enjoy using Q-Park as it was efficient and cost effective. However this year they seem to have made all their desk staff redundant and changed the booking in/checking out system. Credit to the staff (actually, the driver who does everything) as they were helpful and friendly but I was rushed to get on to the bus when I arrived and as a result forgot to bring my ticket. A quick radio call confirmed my authenticity and that of one other passengers who had left his ticket in the last terminal, and we were on our way.

I realise that in the current climate, costs have to be saved. But I found the service stressful and not what I had paid for. Next time I'll pay a little extra and park at T5 long term parking where I won't have to wait around for a bus, search for my ticket. And by the way, it was sheer luck I got on to the bus within 10-15 minutes of walking out of arrivals. I tried looking up the number via a directoy enquiry service. Impossible. Number had changed. Dialled the new number. Office was closed.

When We Arrived At The Airport The Staff Could Not

When we arrived at the airport the staff could not have been more helpful. Q-Park and Flyaway appeared very efficient. On return you are asked to call once you have your bags and have cleared customs. We did that and were told someone eas on the way to pick us up. We had to wait for 50 minutes! While waiting we tried several times to call but no one picked up. Eventually there were about 20 people waiting. In the time we were waiting the minibuses for other companies passed us by at least twice. When I finally got through on the phone I was told the traffic was bad! Do not use this service if you have young children as the wait is too long.

Used Q-park And Flyaway To Leave My Car For 5 Days

Used Q-Park and Flyaway to leave my car for 5 days to travel to NY.

Returned home to find that my car had been damaged. Reported it to employee who didnt seem too bothered about it,filled in a complaints form and was told that i would be contacted via telephone in the next couple of days.

I was contacted by them to confirm that they had received the complaint but was told that they would investigate further before they could comment. After a week they contacted me to inform me that the damage had been caused by them and that in order to claim from them they needed two quotes,I have had one quote for a few pounds under a thousand and i have been told by another firm that the charge for an estimate would be £35.00 and if their quote was successful i would get the £35.00 refunded. I contacted Q-Park and Flyaway and was told that they would not pay for the estimate or supply a replacement vehicle while mine was being repaired. All i wanted was my car put back to the same condition as it was left nothing more...At time of writing this they are refusing to negotiate any further until they get two estimates.

Do Not Believe All The Quality Control Bull You Re

Do not believe all the quality control bull you read about Q-Park and Flyaway. We flew to Berlin for a trip between xmas and new year. Took us over an hour to park up and get paperwork. Got to airport almost 2 hours after we entered car park.

On return, waited 30 mintes for bus and they could not find where car was parked, we waited for over 2 hours and car arrived with over 50 miles on clock they told us cars often parked a "good" distance away however from getting off plabe to driving away it took 3 hrs.

AVOID at all costs.

The Most Dreadful And Seemingly Unprofessional Car

The most dreadful and seemingly unprofessional car park facility we have ever used. We had to wait around an hour to be picked up, getting told that 'the driver is on the way' and they would promise to ring me back and never did, if they had an update on the driver and time of arrival. When the driver eventually came he picked people up at the wrong stop, so there may have been people there who were amazingly waiting only a few minutes. I had to argue with a few to get a seat. The driver did not accept any responsibility and when we eventually got off at the depot we were met by a team leader who could have passed as Basil Fawlty, who stressed to us that the car park is undermanned and not set up to cope with large volumes of customers. He did not offer any apology and if we hadn't had asked for a complaints procedure he would have happily just given us our keys and pushed us on our way despite knowing who we were and that we'd phoned several times. He came across with a seemingly non caring attitude apparently putting a point across that it isn't really worth our while complaining and if we'd had paid for a taxi to get to the car park there is no way his company or even himself would have paid us back.... nothing set up to do so. I felt there was a total breakdown of logistics at that centre. For us, it is a big never again.

The Q-park And Flyaway On-demand Pick Up Didn't Ex

The Q-Park and Flyaway on-demand pick up didn't exist in our case. When getting to the bus stop found that around 30 people were already waiting for the mini bus and had been for some time. It was at least another 40 minutes before 3 buses turned up together. Needless to say there was not enough room for all the passengers and my partner was left behind with the cases. On return to the depot staff tried telling me my partner was wearing a totally different coloured t-shirt and was in the bus behind. Needless to say, whatever coloured shirt he was wearing he was not on the bus behind. In fact it took another wait of 15 minutes before he turned up, he was in the fifth bus to turn up and the return journey involved a trip to via terminal 2.

When we got to the exit barrier I found out that I needed a ticket to open the barrier, one had not been supplied to me, involving a drive back round to the office.

We will not be using this car park again. For those interested I rang Q park to advise them of our arrival at Terminal 1 at 17:30 on 8th October 2007, it was 18:43 before we finally drove away from the car park.

We will be going back to Purple Parking in future, they have always been efficient and courteous in the past.

They Never Told Me They Would Take My Car Keys, I

They never told me they would take my car keys, I thought I would park up and that would be it. The car would stay there until I got back from Canada in 2 weeks.

They Damaged both sides of the bumper nearly ripping off the lower rubberised trim, Also they ran along something like a wall with the wind mirror and scratched it on the offside edge.

When I returned from holiday I was jet lagged and didn't look too close as it was a dusky evening but the car looked OK at first. When I got home and woke the next day to wash it I saw the damage they had caused. The car was immaculate when I bought it only a few weeks earlier.

When they came to collect me when returning to Car Park from Air terminal, they drove straight past me in a daze so I had to wait an extra 20 minutes.

Take A Taxi To Heathrow Airport, As Q-park And Fly

Take a taxi to Heathrow airport, as Q-Park and Flyaway airport parking isn't very good. My vehicle came back with the badge missing off the bonnet. My vehicle also came back covered in dirt on all panels. The vehicle had only been washed a couple of hours before I left it with Q-Park, so I am not sure how it got so filthy in 15 days!!
