Fast And Efficient
Excellent service at the Gatwick North Terminal, prompt response on arrival and a speedy handover. Phoned after picking bags up on return and car and Rash', the driver were waiting by the time we walked to the collection point. Help-me-Park provided a very hassle free and speedy service.
Do Not Use This Firm!
DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! Left car with them at Gatwick and they returned with a 20.5" (52cm) crack down the driver's side of the windscreen.
Their response:
I am sorry to hear that your windscreen has developed a crack and we can fully understand your frustration. We obviously cannot say for certain how this occurred but would imagine, as with most cracks, this resulted from a stone chip which could have occurred at any time and is an adverse consequence of driving on public highways.
Unfortunately we cannot be held liable for damage to glass including windscreens. Please refer to our terms and conditions which are available at our website.
terms-and-conditions Which states:

HMP will not accept any liability for any damage to the paintwork or bodywork of the vehicle, damage to any glass or wheels caused by road conditions or debris or punctures caused as a result of driving on the public highway during normal use for the purposes of conducting the parking contract except when proven to be as a result of the negligence, wilful act or breach of statutory duty of HMP, its servants or agents.

I recently used this company's meet-and-greet service at Gatwick airport. I had just had the car washed before dropping it off and went on vacation for 10 days.
When I returned to collect my car it was covered in huge splotches of birds’ faeces. I took photographs of the worst affected areas and shared these with the company. It was so bad that marks remained even after the car was washed again.
This was the response of the customer complaints department:
We are sorry that your vehicle was returned to you with bird mess on the rear.
We have a system in place that should any driver notice a vehicle that is dirty, they should ensure that it is cleaned before returning it to our customers. This obviously was not done and resulted in your vehicle being returned dirty, and for this we are truly sorry.
We do not offer any undercover parking and all of our secure car parks are open to the elements. We also do not offer a valeting service. Your vehicle was parked with us for 12 days inclusive. All of our customer’s vehicles are parked in rows and do become dirty.

Unfortunately, this is an everyday hazard when parking in any open car park.

Initially when we came to drop our car off the guy was very nice and friendly. We gave him our car and felt it was in good hands.
We came back from holiday a day later than we booked. My mother called them and explained and they were happy to keep it for another day and just to pay £10 when we pick the car up. Fab!
We turned up to collect our car and was told they will be about 10 minutes as they need to collect it and bring it to us.our flight came in earlier than expected. We waited for around half an hour to which the guy said I'm really sorry but we had to change the drivers because we couldn't get a 6 foot 4 driver into your car.
The weather was extremely Icy and was Infact -8. When my partner went to get into the drivers side he couldn't open the door from the outside I hoped into the passengers side and opened it from the inside. We just assumed that because it was so cold that it had iced up a bit. We drove down the road about an hour and parked to go to the shop. When we came back to the car my partner tried to open the drivers side door. It was at this point we realised that it was Infact broken and couldn't be opened from the outside. I immediately called the office and they said that I would have to wait until the office opened and gave me a time. I called the office at the time they stayed and they said no were wrong call back on this time. After trying a further time I spoke to a lady and again explained the situation she said for me to email over everything. I did what they asked and waited for a reply. Still waiting I emailed them again and again and again. I called twice and finally spoke to someone who said they will have to do an investigation. I then heard nothing so I contacted them again and the guy on the phone would not allow me to speak. He spoke over me and just kept saying that it's a mechanical fault but they will investigate. After me trying to speak and him not allowing me I put the phone down. I then heard nothing again for a few days and called them back, it was the same guy he apologised for speaking over me and then tried to listen to what I had to say. He said that can I get an estimate and send it to them about the damage and find what the cause was to then see who is liable. I went to many garages to find the cheapest price and found a quote. I asked the garage what could have caused this and they said it has been from sheer force trying to open the door that has snapped the bracket off inside this was not a mechanical fault. I then explained my situation and they gave me all the details for them to contact them and launch their investigation. I called the company back up and explained he asked me to send it over. I sent it over and heard nothing for a week. I called and they said that the guy that deals with it isn't in but he'll let him know. I explained that this really isn't on and his reply was he will be in touch Monday. It's now Tuesday after the Monday and after having to send yet another email asking they have replied saying they have asked the drivers they have all said no so they won't do anything about it because they presume it's a mechanical fault. Of course the drivers are going to say they haven't done anything! They haven't contacted the garage or anything. I am not in the process of court proceedings. A company like this Should not get away with acting like this. First of all breaking my car then the bad customer service to now not even taking responsibility! I am so angry as this car was bought for me as a Christmas present and they have broken it!
Since posting reviews and even more emails back and forth with them
not taking responsibility, i stated I would be getting a report from the
garage for them and to go to a small claims court as they hadn't even
phoned the garage. After many emails I then received a phone call
firstly apologising for the customer service and stating that he Infact
had read everything between me and the guy dealing with it and took it
upon himself to contact the garage. They will now take responsibility
and pay for the damage caused. Finally!!! I emailed them my bank details
and the money for the car was in my bank account before the end of the
day.
Yes I received my money but what I had to go through to get it and
the sheer inconvenience it caused was ridiculous. I am happy that
justice was served in the end after battling with them for so long. I
would still never use their service again and still recommend to not use
them.

Please accept our apologies for the poor level of customer service you received. I have no excuses apart from poor communication at our end.
However, we did need to carry out and investigation and we have responded and resolved your case within our promised timescales.
We have learned some lessons and will be implementing those immediately

Really great service at Gatwick. Phone calls always answered promptly; staff polite, friendly, and efficient. Drop off and pickup were both perfect. Really pleased we went with this service.

Used this company in the early hours of the morning on 16 August 2014. Quick response to our call from motorway to say we would be arriving in 10 mins. After waiting for 5 mins, we rang and were told a staff member was on their way. Within mins our collection was complete. Staff member was friendly and efficient. On our return journey, on Wednesday 27th, around 1pm, again, our phone call was promptly answered, and directions to hotel parking bay, were good. Our car was waiting for us, with a friendly greeting from the female staff member. We would definitely recommend this company and use again.

Totally trustworthy, reliable service. They arrived when they said they would to collect the car and delivered the car back exactly on time. The car was not used or abused in any way. It just traveled 4 miles to the parking and back. All communication was professional. We will definately recommend and use again

Very good parking service, was greeted with a smile each time and had no trouble meeting someone to take the car and bring it back. Car milage was as expected when I got the car back, and overall made the beginning and end to our holiday nice and easy.

Best Parking Supplier
I used another Gatwick company called Diamond, who were pretty good .. or so I thought, just found out that help-me-park have taken over the Diamond business and things have improved immeasurably.
Clearly I had underestimated just how good a valet parking company could be. phone process much smoother , very clear instructions and our driver was waiting for us at arrival and our car was waiting for us on our return.
All very smooth and hassle free and happily no price increase, good to see an OK company get better when taken over as that has not always been my experience

After using Help-me-park for many years I felt obliged to publish a good review about them as I have seen that some other companies do not supply the same high level of customer care that these guys do.
They really are very reliable and amongst the most polite and friendly bunch of guys you are likely to meet. So if you are looking for what most likely is the best valet meet and greet supplier at Gatwick then I would suggest Help-me-park.
My son in law who opted for what appeared to be a cheaper supplier was left stranded waiting for his car for some 40 minutes. Thankfully my wife & I did not have to wait for him.
