Incompetent and deeply unprofessional fim. THey will do everything to make this the worst experience for you.

1. They can not communicate in english, french or german language.

2. The staff will not mentien old dammages, and let yoy pay for them when you return with the car.

They gave a very low price of 3 euro a day in high season while all other venders charge at least 12 euro. The windscreen was dirty when I took the car and they refused to wash it. When I returned the car the lady went straight to the windscreen and showed me a tiny scratch the size of a needle pin and charged me 580 euro. They hid it from me and they will never replace this windscreen. The staff is very rude!!

I have rented a car from Noleggio Breve Termine. I have taken over the rented card on 06/07/27, paid a deposit of 1.000 EUR, they charged it on my Credit.

I received a detailed list of existing damages at handing over. I took back the car out of business hours on 14.07.2024 to Bergamo, and - after checking the car - I was convinced that the car had not more damages than at the handover.

Some days later the rental company sent me an email with an invoice, telling me that they found a major damage around the trunk door. I am sure I did not cause that damage but they took away the amount of EUR 875 from my deposit, and I cannot do anything. The 875 EUR included 107 EUR of different fees!!! I called them and ensured them that I did not do the damage, but they insisted that I have to pay. When I asked them to prove the damage, they sent me a photo without any identification number about a damage that could be on any other car.

I read several reviews about this company, and many of them compLain about the same issue.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL, BEWARE OF THEM, CHOOSE ANOTHER RENT-A-CAR PROVIDER!!!!!

WARNING WHEN YOU WANT TO RENT A CAR FROM TARGETRENT NAPLES.

This company promises all kinds of things but doesn't deliver. Just make yourself wait for almost an hour to be picked up so you can go to their company to pick up your rental car. Once there, they try all kinds of things to sell extra insurance, even if you have already taken out full insurance in advance.

For your rented car you can buy a wash there for 12 euros because your car has to be returned clean and washed. I don't know of any other rental company that does this.If the car is not clean and that is soon according to them, you will be fined 50 euros.

In addition, they also try to recover existing damages from you. It is wise to take pictures of the entire car before you start using the car and don't forget to put the company in the background because they try all kinds of things.

We had not taken a wash because we only had the car for 4 days and only in in the city and on the main road. And so we were penalized for 50 euros because the car had a rain shower and had left dirt. They could not recover an existing damage from us because we had taken photos and made a video for the company. SO DON'T RENT A CAR FROM TARGETRENT NAPLESTHIS COMPANY PREFERS TO PAY A LITTLE MORE FOR SERVICE WITHOUT A PROBLEM

Horrible company and horrible staff. No manners whatsoever and huge English barrier.

We were told by the broker that we could buy extra insurance and didn’t need a credit card (OR a deposit).. However when we got there they said that they could only accept the debit card if we agreed to pay 1,500€ in full for a deposit - FOR A GOLF CAR - AND extra for insurance.

Huge joke and the rudeness we experienced was a major downfall.

We went back to Bergamo airport and got a car for €350!!

beside the fine to the municipality the target rent a car company charge my credite an Extra 66 euros for administration - above all other companies which charge about 25Euro.

The company give you low price for the rent but then charging extra expenses like cleaning and administration.

Charged extra 40 euros due to my flight into Sicily being delayed by 2 hours, they informed me that I could claim the fine back of the airline which was totally false.

Just to share the bad experience we had with Targetrent / Target rent at Palermo. We booked a car with them via the RyanAir website, arrived safely in Palermo and followed the Targetrent instructions, which were:

Call their office number to organize a shuttle service

Wait under the Exit car valet sign

- which we did. After a couple of calls which they didn't pick up, we got through to someone who said a shuttle was on their way. So we waited. And waited. No shuttle. Rang again, no pickup for several calls, then eventually got through and were told the shuttle should be there. It wasn't. They said to wait for the shuttle. So we waited. And waited. No shuttle. Tried ringing again, no reply or pickup whatsoever. As it was getting late (10pm), we ended up hiring a car from Hertz from the airport.

Got to our apartment, had an Italian friend ring them the next day. Targetrent / Target rent said that they had sent the shuttle and that as we weren't there for pickup, we were a "no show" and therefore there would be no refund.

Not a great start to what was otherwise a great holiday.

The moral of this story: do NOT use Targetrent / Target rent from Palermo. Stick with the brand names, even if they are more expensive.

We rented two cars, or actually one, in June '17, but we'll get to that.

We arrived in the airport in Olbia, Sicily late at night and spend half an hour to locate the office. Its located 1 km outside the airport so its you have to call the transfer. No real problem except he didn't speak English. Fair enough. When we arrived at the "office", there were no problems with the first car, but when we came to the second they wouldn't accept our card. It said "Debit" on it and even though there was a credit limit for 5x the amount they required, it wasn't good enough. To be fair it did say something similar on our booking note, but the translation was no way need debit/credit card. We tried everything like using the card just excepted or cash, but nothing was good enough. Oh, that is until they offered that we could put in a cash deposit for 300euros and the pay 210euros of them on return for their own full coverage insurance, even though we already had a full one from home. That is an addition for twice(!) the cost of the car for the rental week. No other thing was possible. It was 11 pm and they couldn't be talked to reason and was prepared to leave us on the curve.

A couple of gentlemen then came for their car, and they did the exact same thing with them! When I confronted Target Rent, she just grinned scornfully and kept their claim. Its all one big way of making money for them and all the call to the "boss" and looking in their system was just for the show. They knew exactly what they wanted from us. Funny thing is, even though we knew it was possible with the declined card, because of the "deal" we could make and be permitted, I later found out my own card, the one, we used to get the first car was also a debit card! And they didn't even noticed because the letters was with a dark writing on a dark surface. Its all about getting a much money from you as possible. We ended up leaving with one car, but paid for them both off cause, and made very sure to take pictures of every inch of the cars scratches. So IF, I recommend not to, but IF you want to rent from Target Rent make sure you:

- Call them on arrival.

- Bring all papers of reservation.

- Bring drivers license and passport

- Bring a CREDIT card, NOT debit, with enough for the deposit.

- TAKE PICTURES of the car, inside and out, and make sure the scratches are marked correctly.

But again, try to avoid this company at all cost.

I booked my vehicle (a Renault Clio economy class) few weeks before since I saw that the price was good.

The day of the pickup when I arrived in Olbia Airport it was difficult to find the place, I called the phone number of target rent and they assisted me saying that a free ride was included for the customer. Nice I said and they came to pick me up in 20 minutes. The location was very weird, isolated, even if 1km close to the airport and in an old building. When I got in the office, the front desk woman asked me for the voucher of the reservation. Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to print it so I asked kindly if she could print it for me (paying for the cost of the print). She told me it was impossible since it was my fault if I didn't read carefully all the requirements of the rent (including printing the voucher). I asked to her if it was possible to have a transfer back to the airport to find a place to print the voucher (there wasn't anything around the location). And she told me that it could be possible but the transfer back to the rent location will not be included (I was supposed to walk for one km with my luggages, ok I love walking but the situation was still weird). So I walk out the office finding some place in the middle of nowhere to print my voucher. Fortunately I found a place close to my location. Finally I came back in the TargetRent office with my voucher (2 copies to be sure). The front desk woman asked me for my credit card. I gave it to her. Unfortunately the locking of the deposit was not working so I asked why since the deposit from the voucher was 2000 euros plus taxes (isn't too much for a Renault Clio?). In any case I had more than 2300 euro on my credit card but the requested deposit was 2500 euros. With patience I asked if there was a way to decrease a bit the deposit since I though 2300 euros weren't a big deal for them. She told me that she will never change the amount of the deposit since it was written on the voucher (false since it was 2000 plus taxes). I asked her to talk with the manager of the office and she told me there wasn't any manager! Ok after 45 minutes of my time wasted talking with this very rude woman I decided to leave the office.

I rented cars in any part of the world including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Vancouver and many other places and I never had an experience like this. I won't make this error anymore with TargetRent.
