Hi hired a car from this company for two days. Thought they were brilliant as they delivered the car to our apartment, not so good when trying to get the €200 deposit back been 10 days now and they will not answer emails or WhatsApp’s. As I am a Spanish resident will be looking at maybe doing a denuncia maybe then they will answer such a shame as they seemed really good and had good reviews

Hello.So this was my First time renting a car. After hours and hours loking around reading Bad reviews all over the Internet I settled on EDI since i read nothing but good good thing about them. And they didn't dissapoint. I got the car i wanted. Looked and smelled brand new. No Problems there. If i had question i called or wrote them and got a answer everytime. So I can 100% recommend them to anybody. I know if I had back to the Area I will call them first

It's only taken me a year to write a review however, as I'm currently comparing car hire firms in the Malaga area, I was reminded of our trip to Alicante last year when we hired with EDi for the first time.

From start to finish, the service provided by EDi was absolutely top notch. Booking was easy and the all-inclusive package is very reasonable and avoids the insurance hard-sell applied by other companies at pick-up. The EDi rep was waiting for us at the airport, despite the fact our flight was delayed over an hour. Less than 10 mins after being taken to our car, which was immaculate, we were on our way.

We made several phone calls to the office over the 2 weeks and the ladies were always very helpful and courteous. When travelling back to the airport for our return flight, we missed refueling the car (i.e., to return the car with a full tank) however this was no problem to the team. EDI sorted all that out on collection of the car and didn't charge anything other than the cost of the fuel, even sending proof of purchase to my phone within an hour of us leaving the car at the airport.

I would thoroughly recommend hiring with EDi. We won't be in the Alicante area on our next trip, so unfortunately won't be able to hire with them on this occasion, but we will no doubt hire from them again in future.

Now this is how to run a car hire company ,book it on the website ,turn up at the airport ,be met by a very pleasant employee ,shown to your chosen car ,sign the paperwork,pay what was quoted ,and off you go on holiday,return the car full of fuel ,back to the same spot you picked the car up ,leave the keys ,and go home, in the knowledge your credit card isn't going to be hit while you're in the air. If I could i would give this company 12 out of 10 ,OK they maybe slightly more expensive ,but remember in this life you only get what you paid for ,in this case no que ,no hassle, no bull from someone trying to sell you the best package for insurance,wheel insurance,windscreen insurance ,they are like RONSEAL ,they do exactly as they say .

We have used EDI for many visits to the Alicante area. The family run business is always exceptionally helpful. Their pricing is honest - no extras on the day, what they quote is what you pay. No long wait at the airport in queues to collect keys and fill out forms, just a quick and efficient handover at the airport public parking area. Recommended to many of our holiday home renters too, and everyone always happy with the service they received.

I would recommend Edi to anyone, particularly if you've been ripped off by other car rental cos or stood in long queues waiting for your car or had to travel miles from the airport to pick it up, or been constantly worried you may have missed a scratch when you picked it up that will cost you when you return it.

These people are very very good, honest, helpful and reliable.

You pick up your car in the airport car park, sign for it and in 5 minutes you're on your way. Brilliant!

I have used this company several times now and will continue to do so when in Alicante.

Their honest, simple and straightforward (no hidden extras) policy is refreshing from the cartels that are prevalent at the airport.

No queues, greeted by very pleasant staff, good cars and you are soon on your way. Easy drop off later.

We rent a car for a week in October. The car was spotless, in very good condition, the service was fantastic. The price, absolutely the best on market. Easy to book, easy to go. No deposit required.
