Ignoring Complaints

I had issues with their website and the wrong information was inputted when making a reservation. I contacted them immediatelly and they advised that it was ok and the changes will be updated at the port, that was wrong advice. I was not allowed to board the ferry and the ferry company forced me to purchase a new ticket worth £170. I spoke and emailed them several times requesting a refund as it was their fault but they are ignoring my calls and correspondence. DO NOT TRUST THEM, book directly with the ferry company.

They Did Not Do Amendment

We rang aferry to amend a booking. No problem they said, they charged the £25.00 amendment fee. When we arrived at Calais our amendment had not been done! We were told by the ferry company to contact aferry on our return home although we had to pay the full daily rate to the ferry company to sail as it was their policy on daily rates. We could have got a cheaper ticket by booking in advance and not trusting aferry to do it. On contacting aferry.com on several occasions they admitted they had not done the amendment and after complaining they offered a full refund on the amendment fee! They would not refund either the cancelled original booked crossing nor reimburse the full cost we had to pay to return. In effect we paid twice to get back. We intend to take this matter further, they were paid for a service they did not provide.

They Lied To Us

we booked a ferry ticket through them to and from Majorca on the car ferry. There was a problem and we needed to change it but they said the ticket we had was non-changeable and non-refundable and we'd have to buy a whole new ticket (at around £300). We contacted the ferry company directly and we only had to pay twenty euros to change the ticket. We also could have bought the ticket cheaper by going direct in the first place. The Spanish ferry company had agents who speak fluent English and it was very easy.

Easy To Use And Cheap!

I wasn’t sure of the ferry times from Liverpool to Belfast, so a quick online search and I found the information on aferry. I saw some good deals while I was on the website so I decided to book it there and then, making a good saving on what I’d heard I would have to pay.

I had a reasonably quick and painless journey as the weather was nice enough for a calm sea. My family was surprised to hear how much I had paid for my trip!
