No Pain Killers Or First Aid
I was on my way back from Belfast recently and had unfortunately contracted an infection. I had asked if there were somewhere I could buy painkillers but the answer was no. I also asked if they has any painkillers in their "first aid kit" but again the answer was no. I found this astonishing.
Just a word of warning to any potential travellers - go very well prepared and don't expect any first aid.

Brilliant First Trip
Very good impression and beautiful experience for myself, my husband and our “ baby “ American Akita.
Very clean, tidy and nice environment. The room was very clean as well and the staff were immaculate.
We had the please to chat with some of the guys at the restaurant, that made us feel much more comfortable considering it was our first time and the food was amazing as well, large portions and freshly cooked, good for everyone’s taste.
We will more than likely come back with Stena Line.

Deadly Sea, Delightful Service!
I don't normally leave a review but I feel I need to commend the fantastic service and skill of the staff on the Stena Nordica Ferry.
It was a very rough day to sail but we made it from Holyhead to Dublin comfortably and that's all down to the members of staff that went above and beyond to support us. We have a 2 month old baby girl and a 3 year old son. My son became very sea sick at the seating area with my partner and I was struggling to walk back from the toilet with my newborn at the same time.
A lady working at the food city restaurant and another young female member of staff came to our aid immediately. They supported us to remove all of our belongings: buggy, jackets, bags etc. to a safer part of the ship while also cleaning/helping our little boy to feel better. They did all of this with a high standard of professionalism and a good sense of humour.
The OSS manager approached us only a few moments later and offered us a free cabin as they had one available. She also escorted us to the reception area where another nice gentleman helped us to the room.
The teamwork, excellent communication, professionalism and kindness of all the staff mentioned above was absolutely outstanding. Hospitality at its finest! I am only sorry I did not catch all of their names to thank them individually.

Do Not Take Your Dog
These " people" if that's what you could call the staff are uneducated when it comes to transporting pets on their disgusting ferry.
My dog barked at someone who approached me while sleeping.
They rang animal control. Got my dog taken off me. Stena threatened to put her down for " biting". Later after it all came out that it was just a BARK. They still denied they did anything wrong. They put my dog and I through hell over nothing!! I booked a kennel but none was available!! The vile customer service living thing shall we say and whoever are the two most atrocious staff I have ever dealt with. The CEO doesn't care. I have the animal control reports. My dog was returned to me. Which states she is not agressive and didn't bite. But the hot head STUPID staff flew off the handle. I hope their ships ROT to the bottom of the sea. And now they complain about my reviews. You started the war Stena.

Fantastic Experience
Travelled from Liverpool to Belfast on Stenna Plus once overnight and once daytime. On both occasions the service was first class like a mini cruise. Clean and spotless comfortable, choice of complimentary food and drinks and hot food fabulous. Staff couldn't be more helpful making it a pleasure to sail with them also with a car extremely well organised both at Birkenhead and Belfast. Well done Stenna

Seating
Seats are very uncomfortable for an 8 hour trip, on outbound booked hugge lounge, advertised as reclining, they don't recline fully, no foot rest,
Seats on return not suitable, it's obvious they want you to book a cabin, but with a capity of 900+ and only 100+ cabins.
Dangerous
Do not go on this ferry. They treat animals horrifically. Abused my dog. The staff are agressive.

Chaotic And Unprofessional.
The disembarkment process was grossly unprofessional. Staff shouting at passengers as though we were children, it was terrible. We had to wait for more half an hour in our car before being able to drive off the ferry. Then we again had to wait more than half an hour at the customs barrier. The whole organisation was amateurish and badly organized. I would not recommend Stena line to anyone.

I Booked One Double Cabin, And Was Charged For Two
I booked one double cabin, and was charged for two cabins instead. The customer service was contradicting what I was told on the ferry (that thee will be an easy refund), and have been utterly irresponsive, and dismissive. It was a terribly humiliating experience.

Discrimination
I recently travelled with stena line ferry
On the 26th at 10.30 pm from Liverpool to Belfast
Firstly I’d like to Exspress how distraught I am after the experience I endured by their staff, I’ve never felt more unfairly mistreated then I did on the 26th of November, I book the ferry for myself my vehicle wife & caravan now I book the caravan as 4 meteres on the side of my caravan it’s say it’s is 3.95 m but when I pulled up at the docks there was about 30 gypsy/travelers there with their caravans and clearly cause I pulled up with the caravan they classed me as the same, now that is discrimination at first class they looked at me and saw I also had a caravan not knowing that I am a caravan dealer my business name is Curragh caravans you can look that up to verify, so when it was my turn the women spoke to me with the most rudest attitude she got out and measured my caravan to hitch n said it was 4.25 meters and she told me I could not get on the ferry I had to go back n rebook so when I went to rebook the extra amount of £40 they refused to take card only wanted cash payment now clearly this was for their own pocket as they did not update my ticket to state that I had payed the extra £40 they also done this with all the gyspy traveller ppl so Clearly they have pocket all this money for their own gain, then they went on to lock us all in a compound for over 35 minutes they only done this with the gyspy/travelling ppl and myself, and that’s not the worst part ! When we got on the ferry they closed all the bars at 11pm because of travelling community and classing me as the same the staff onboard spoke to me and my wife in the most rudest manor talking down on us like they were better then us I’ve never witnessed anything in my life like it I am a gold membership and frequently travel with stenaline and have never been so unfairly treated , I also book a cabin and since I was not welcome around the ship I went to go get sleep but due to children running up and down I was awake for the full night long.”! But I can’t Exspress enough about how horrible staff on the 26th of November it’s is appalling how we were treated. I’ve tried to email stena line since Monday but no body had even the decency to respond to my emails. I certainly would not recommend them as clearly they do not care when they haven’t responded
