Days Inn M5 Services Strensham Tewkesbury

Was greeted by a very pleasant lasdy at reception. It went downhill from there! It was like stepping into the 1980's torn net curtain, ripped chair and badly worn sofa bed threadbare! Place looked like it was dirty but the colour scheme did not help and the term drab is best applied. I could not bring myself to have breakfast after so little sleep on the hardest bed i've ever laid on!? Book at your peril.

Overall Motel Service

Reservations were made online because I kept getting referred to to a reservation service. I could not get the Motel Desk on the line. Check in was without issue but I was told to speak to the manager pertaining to a Military Discount. I am a Wyndam Member and had just stayed at the George Washington in Winchester Va shortly before this. I left the next morning and returned in the evening to find my room not cleaned or serviced. I was tired and Just went to bed. The next morning on checkout I spoke with the Manager. He informed me that I had a do not disturb placard on the door and that was why my room was not serviced. The Placard had been removed at 9 am when we went down for breakfast. I asked for a receipt for my stay and was told that since I had booked on line I would have to get me receipt on line. I will be very careful about ever staying in another Days Inn. I will make sure my associates know never to stay at the one in Westminster.

Brilliant Really Good Stay, Food Was Awful!!!

Me and my partner stayed at the days inn in Liverpool for 3 nights, we originally booked 2 but were really happy with the location and the hotel itself we requested another night. There was no parking for the hotel so when we arrive we had to drive around looking for the nearest car park, we ended up paying £4o for parking for 4 days. The first night we stayed we had dinner in the hotels restaurant and to be honest it was appalling, there was 1 member of staff for the whole restaurant, the restaurant was freezing we had to leave our coats on. I ordered the chicken korma, and my partner had a chicken burger. When the food came it looked really bad! The chicken burger was tiny, about the size of the palm of my hand and for saying we paid £8.95 for it it was shocking! Then my korma looked like a tesco microwaveable meal! It was awful, the chicken was hard and the korma sauce was watery, To top it off my partner ended up having food poisoning for the whole stay! We were really unhappy with that! But overall, the location of the hotel was brilliant, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Albert docks, it on the same street as Liverpool one shopping centre which was handy, there was a tesco pretty much opposite which again was really handy! The room was very clean, the bed was very comfy and the shower was really nice! Really happy with the stay will be visiting again but will not be going back to the restaurant

Terrible Experience

my family and i stayed at the day's inn in mt vernon, ky and it was a terrible experience. we had asked for non smoking but our room was smoking, the clerk was rude and said there were no non smoking rooms at the hotel. we were charged for a pet we didn't have, the wi-fi didn't work and there was no coffee or juice at breakfast. i will not stay at a days inn for a while after this experience.

Outstanding

I really could not fault it. The room was lovely. The bathroom was actually clean with clean towels. The Staff day and night was just hilarious and so accommodating. It is easy enough to get to from the motorway or from Leicester city center you are only about 15/20 mins from highcross shopping center. At the hotel you have the choice of breakfast there or a short 2 min walk to whsmith, kfc, burger king, papa johns and much much more. we ended up staying an extra 3 nights for the sake of it purely on these points. they also have things to do like amusements. We was put on the ground floor right on the turning part of the car park and still managed to get a good night sleep. Would more than highly recommend. No charge for parking just make sure you register you plates. Friendly.

Days Inn Milton Keynes

I stay here a while back and wasn't impressed. The bath looked dirty, there was make-up on the pillow and the walls where very thin resulting in a bad nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning consisted of very cheap, salty and gristley sausages that made me want to vomit.

I thought I would give the place benefit of the doubt and returned for my 2nd stay at £65.95p for the night (politely declining the breakfast this time). My room seemed a little cleaner than last time but once again the walls are so thin I was kept awake by what sounded like a gypsy couple arguing in one of the other rooms, I waited half hour hoping they would quieten down before getting dressed to go ask reception for a new room. The staff where helpful and gave me a new room, but due to the thin walls and slamming doors in the corridor, I'm afraid it was another bad nights sleep so I won't be returning for a third time.

Signs Of Previous Occupants

We used this establishment prior to an early morning flight, and following an early arrival return, home being a long way away. The place seems pretty run down in parts on the outside. Garden view from rooms is of wasteland.

On first occasion room was largely clean and we had a reasonable few hours sleep before we were off. Short on towels though. For some reason the fire alarm in our room went off of it's own accord-checked elsewhere and concluded that it may have been oversensitive to room temp.

On return, dog-tired after a long trip and arriving as arranged in small hours we were sent to a room a few doors away from that occupied previously. A used towel was in the bathroom, the waste bin full of sandwich wrappers and other material, no tea, two coffee packets, no milk, no TV control, used cups. toilet seat busted, floor and furniture not cleaned. Thank goodness the bed seemed to have fresh sheets and duvet cover or we would have walked despite our exhausted state. Bed mattress was most uncomfortable.

I got the impression that this room was double booked, during the day/eve for one set of guests who left before our arrival at 02.30- and that a minimal change over took place. Not acceptable, will not use this Days Inn again.

On the plus side, no aircraft noise though occasional train heard.

Days Inn In Mount Pleasant South Carolina Was A Disappointme

My husband and I were traveling so when we arrived to the hotel we were extremely tired. We have stayed in a Days Inn before and were satisfied. So we decided to stay in this one. What a mistake. There were holes in the bathroom ceiling and water was dripping through, so they changed our room and then when we got to the next room, there was dried up food on the floor. In both rooms there was mildew in the bathrooms. It was such a huge disappointment. We were so tired and didn't feel like continuing to look for a different room. We went to sleep and left before 8 a.m. It was so nasty. When I let the hotel know about how unimpressed we were they only offered a 15% return. We were in the room for a total of 7 hours and paid $130.98. It will not happen again because I refuse to give that hotel chain another dime. They lost our business.
