Just Had The Most Lovely Week At The Norfolk Hotel

Just had the most lovely week at the Norfolk hotel in St Helier,Jersey. The room, food, staff & position were great. We had the same waiter on table 30 for most of the week, you would not get better service anywhere, he was magnificent. There was a small but very comfortable pool and area, and all staff attended to our needs quickly and without fuss. By the end of our stay, I felt like I had been coming here for years, all of them always spoke in a warm and freindly way. If I was forced to make a negative comment it would be that the vast majority of the other guests were quite elderly, so we tended to spend our evening's away from the hotel, but that was just bad luck, and not the fault of the hotel. We will not hesitate to go again.

We Were Greeted By Friendly Staff On Our Arrival T

We were greeted by friendly staff on our arrival to the Norfolk Hotel, St Helier, the room was everything we expected and had all the amenities at hand. The man who managed the restaurant was a star. Food choice was varied and lots of it. The entertainment in the bar kept us entertained for 4 nights, fantastic, the pool and the cafe relaxed us in style and we were close to town for shopping. We explored jersey with a hire car arranged by the hotel. We loved our stay and recommend this hotel to anyone who is NOT looking for five star luxury, but is looking to relax/explore and be fed, entertained in style.

Majority Of The Staff Were Really Friendly And Hel

Majority of the staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The food in the restaurant was excellent

giving a varied choice in all 4 courses. Again the waiters and waitresses made the guests feel very welcome. They couldn't do enough for you.

I had a great holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone else.

My Opinion Of Our Stay At The Norfolk Hotel Is Tha

My opinion of our stay at the Norfolk Hotel is that it was disappointing as I disliked the tiny cramped room and choice of food in dining room for our evening meal. I felt this hotel was suited to the over 60's, judging by the many elderly people here. It was close to all the amenities, town centre and there are lovely parks nearby. This hotel had a small but nice swimming pool and a cafe selling various beverages, snacks, drinks and beers. St Helier is Jersey's Capital and therefore is rather busy, there is quite a lot of building work going on spoiling the skyline and Jersey. There was a lovely shopping centre, which was clean and well looked after, there was a bus station nearby and lovely parks including Howard Davis Park, St Luke's Church, Memorial Gardens and Tearoom Conservatory. There were other hotels and restaurants in the centre, with a variation in choice nearby. With lovely beaches, a lovely zoo at Samares Manor House and Gardens and the German Underground Hospital attraction you feel that Jersey is steeped in history. It also has a much warmer climate compared to England.
