Grand Sharm Resort

It was a terrible experience going to this hotel.

It can't be more than 1 star hotel or maybe half star.

Staff were very rude, air conditioning was not working.

security people walk beside your balcony and try to see what you're doing in your room ( VERY RUDE ).

Workers talk about you in front of you in Arabic language in a nasty way.

I hope this hotel will close soon.

Their beach is horrible, you will find people annoying you and disturbing you to sell their services ( massage ect....)

On your check in, they will let you stay in the reception not less than 1 hour although they have empty rooms ( low level of customer service ).

I booked for 2 days but couldn't stay for more than 1 day so i left !

i will never think to go to this place again.

Having it be my first time travelling to Sharm el sheikh, my partner and i booked into this GRAND SHARM RESORT 4* (as stated) ALL INCLUSIVE thinking nothing could possibly go wrong with our trip being in a 4* hotel. How wrong could we be?? the staff at reception were polite even though they had little understanding of english, but the rooms were FILTHY! the sink and bath tub were rusting away, dirty foot prints on the back of the bathroom door, the tables had dirty cup stains and what was even worse was the restaurant. our first night there we decided to have dinner and make it an early night. The next day we got up and made our way to the restaurant for breakfast- the table my partner and i sat at the previous night, was still left dirty with crumbs we'd left there the previous night. The staff in the restaurant were rude, and left us sitting for half an hour before serving us even thought they acknowledged us coming in to the restaurant and sitting down. So after breakfast, we decided to go look for an internet cafe and book ourselves into the HILTON WORLDWIDE RESORTS in Nama Bay. excellent. It was the best choice ever! i would really recommend the HILTON. Definately 9/10 at the Hilton. And for the GRAND SHARM RESORT... i would honestly give it no stars if i had the choice!

i came home this morning from the grand sharm resort and what a con it was. Now Im definetly not a girl whos accustom to 5 star luxury, but what we recieved at this hotel was no where near acceptable. I booked 4 star accomodation but it is actually 2 stars (the hotel was going to be completely renovated into a 4 star in 2008 even though it didnt happen they still upgraded the rating??). The rooms were not habitable and every person who we met were not happy with the room - mine was falling apart, teaming with cockroaches, and was absolutely filthy (food/brown debris all ober the walls) sofa cushions were like something out of a dump and they smelt like it too. The rude staff (even though there were some exceptions) wouldnt change us or even acknowledge me during one 'conversation' as I tried to calmly ask for some help he even walked off. The surroundngs are very shabby -parasols are in shreds, rooms are dirty, pool has black grime that breaks off and floats into the water.

Also another important point to add we didnt meet another holiday maker who hadnt had something or other stolen from their room - perfume, clothes, shoes, underwear!!

Im sure you could stay in worse but I was quite disapointed as I could of booked a 2 star hotel for half the cost.

We definetly made the holiday a great time for ourselves but will definetly not be staying at this hotel ever again as it is not value for money. I just wish I had taken the reviews seriously.

I was at this so called GRAND Sharm Resort in May with my wife and parents, if this was my first time in Egypt I would never set foot in the place again. The whole complex was FILTHY, run down and dangerous. The tiles around the pool area were cracked, broken or missing, the bridge across the pool was falling apart and the umbrellas around the pool were hanging in tatters. The food was just awful, novariation at all, you could not get ice on the complex for your drinks as all the machines were broken. There were dirty plates lying about on stairs to the apartments for days before they were lifted. The rooms were a joke, the toilets were filthy with mould and if you were not careful you would get an electric shock from the light switches, as did my wife and I. Overall a bomd site waiting for an accident to happen. This holiday was booked through Thomas Cook, who are now trying to distance themselves from blame over the state of this Criminal resort

just returned from this hotel it is filthy no entertainment dangerous for children man holes uncovered tiles in pool cracked dirty pools sun brollies usless most of them broken bare electric wireing everywere would not give this free hotel to my worst enemy do not go my travel agent said they had no complaints liar there was at least ten aday when we were there for 2 weeks never seen any area cleaned in our whole stay change hotel if possible would go back to egypt but not this hotel

april 2010 GRAND SHARM RESORT Absolutely disgusting place would never reccomend this hotel to anybody,dirty rooms which included beetles, dirty bath on arrival and it wasnt cleaned the 2 weeks we were there, definatley not 4star all inclusive,no tea or coffee making facilitys in rooms no laundry service and when you put washing at back of balcony it was stolen!food repetative and boring,no evening entertainment at all!the locals try and rip you off with everything and change the prices when they know you are English !swimming pools not cleaned ,very tired surroudings, umberellas in dis repair. looked foward to holiday very very disapointed would never go to Egypt again!!!

Me and my partner recently stayed at this resort and i can honestly say we had a lovely time.On arrival we were allocated a horrible room-dirty smelly brown water and cockroaches,however after complaining to the management we were moved that night to a more acceptable room.It seemed everybody had to go through this process..There were a few burgularies and lots of unhappy all inclusives.However on a good note the weather was stunning and thd area pleasing-a holiday is what you make it afterall....

I Stayed at this hotel about 2 times from april 2008 was that time another name grand sharm Resort and this year in spetember 2009 after changing the name and management to grand sharm resort,each trip was at least 2weeks. the staff really catered to my needs the entire trip,whether it was a late night meal.at this holiday a saw that there are many changing at the resort a big change to better than last year,the hotel manager Mr.Ayman Moursy always was mading time to most of people which spending them holiday at the hotel ,he made also time for me spicialy at my departing day,or midway through my trip, so sit with me for drinks or part of my meal to discuss my stay to make sure all was going well,this is by far the best experience i have.

Been twice and I don't normally do that. well looked after hotel and a great place to chill. Creative Grand Sharm Resort is situated well and has well equiped air condioned rooms and two lovely pools.

Creative Grand Sharm Resort was the best holiday which i enjoyed with my family we will be one more time over tthere.
