Holiday Village Egypt, Red Sea Hotel

14 of us aged between 70 and 10 years of age ,had a weeks stay here and we all gave 1t 8 out of 10,staff ,food ,drink, wine,snacks,ice cream,all good,a little tip if you want to go on a trip itsmuch cheaper to book up outside the complex,500mts to the right of complex is a company called falcon,,great for all the trips.hope this helps.top holiday

we were a bit worried about this holliday at Holiday Village Egypt with having 2 young children and the heat but ive got 2 say we,ll be returning next year the hotel, staff and food were brilliant......

What a brill place, my only mistake we only went for 1 wk . Staff at the Red Sea Holiday Village are so friendly, even the gardeners are polite. The sand buggies are a must and camel. The food was brill, hot and so much to choose from I'll be visiting weight club now. My only moan was the spa people at hotel just dont leave u alone but just say "no money, all inclusive" and believe me it worked.

The Holiday Village Egypt, Red Sea Hotel was good. The Kids club was brilliant. We met great friends, the rooms were great, they had a walk-in wardrobe and huge bathroom. The pool was lovely and the staff were BRILLIANT (very friendly). Any problems we had in the room were sorted quickly and for the money it was a GREAT holiday!!!

We were not expecting to enjoy this holiday at the Red Sea Hotel as much as we all did. This holiday was excellent from start to finish nobody wanted to go home the staff were amazing really friendly helpful and hard working they all working 15 hours a day for very little money per month. The food was good, changed the menu dasiy we never got any tummy problems at all the kids clubs were brilliant we have three children and they all enjoy it we would defo recommend this hotel and egypt to anyone we are defo going back next year

Me and my partner arrived at the Red Sea hotel on the 4th sept we are a young couple and worried a bit whether it would be suitable for us as its a childrens based hotel but by far it was amazing for all ages.

ON ARRIVAL. we arrived at the hotel in sharm on a thurs its the busiest arrival day over a 1000 people in just 1 hour it was 10pm and trying to get a cases are cases was ok we went to ar coach be prepared there are people who wait by the coach putting your cases on but they will want tipping. Transfer about 7 mins to hotel. in reception you are given a warm welcome and the pool boys sort your cases out to your room which was a life saver as it was 30 degrees late and didn ' t have a clue where are room was but was shown and when we got in room we couldn ' t believe it was lovely. We were in block 14 rm 14325.

ROOM. . we had a lovely view of the sea very clean room couldn ' t fault the room lovely big bed my partner found it uncomfortable at first but he got used to it. A TV with some English channels bbc world news animal planet kids channel movies sports and music and more the bath room well I would loved to have taking it home with me a large toilet (separate) sink with large mirror and hairdryer and a basket of toiletries that are refilled when empty and I massive walk in shower we always tipped are cleaner as he was very good and thorough with his cleaning and gave us clean towels every day.

FOOD. . we only ate in the buffet resurant as didn ' t want to risk going to al e carte and have a bad stomach as we never had a problem at all great choice of food every day all day and fresh always the salad is amazing lovely taste

POOL. . We did not use the main pool as are room was close to the quiet pool and this was nice too but the main pool looked good fun. BEACH. well what can I say we spent most of our days here it was gorgeous its unspoilt you feel like your the only person sat on there its great unlike these commercialized places like Spain where you get people like sardines! The pontoon was great we often in the afternoon would sunbathe up there as it was peaceful and the fish you can see are lovely. Make sure you say hello to bob the camel he ' s funny and will even give you a kiss.

BARS. Sports bar is ok if you like watching sports but is like a great British pub. View bar is ok but could do with some adult entertainment or music. Pool bar is good but where they have the entertainment at nite where it ' s outside it gets very hot

Beach bar nice and clean and people nice. Lobby bar we spent most of our time here in the evening and it was great my friend as he called me essam made us feel like a king and queen always got us a seat and constantly waiting for us to nearly finish are drink and bring us another.

SHOPS.. there is no need to go out of the hotel if you don ' t want to there is a bazaar shop which sells gifts a another shop that sells snorkels and that a shop that they call Asda which sells cigarettes postcards gifts chocolate and other little bits a papyrus shop which sell Egyptian pictures jewelers a painting man and please go to him his work is very good and he is 100% hassle free a hand bag shop a clothes shop and a perfume shop very good stuff and a "sand man" all these shops are reasonable priced shops and very good quality however if you decide to go out of hotel you will get hassled be warned and my fianc brought some Armani t-shirts out there paid exactly what he did in hotel and they were no where near the quality of the ones he got in the hotel so just be careful!

TRIPS.. we went on the quad bikes which was a very good experience well worth doing we done it through first choice and paid £30 each it was well worth it though and you could go out side the hotel to book but you take a risk and if you get a chance to buy a DVD of the trip good buy!

ADVICE.: we never suffered from the stomach bug but then we stuck to what we was told we drunk 3-4 bottles of water stuck to eating what we thought was safe and didn ' t pig out and didn ' t dring alcohol during day and didn ' t get silly with sun bathing also we had are jabs before going and many people we spoke to didn ' t have them and suffered with the tummy.

this hotel is great for all ages and we both really recommend it and we will be returning next year hope you have as nice holiday as we did.

A reasonable holiday at the Holiday Village Egypt was had but improvements are needed before we would consider returning. The main area for improved communications lies with the travel agents in the first instance as it has not in my opinion been promoted or "sold" correctly.

Hotel was clean, rooms were huge and well maintained. People very kind and extremely hard working. Food was varied and well presented. Nice to be able to eat in the al-a-carte restaurants, made a nice change and the service was excellent. General finish of the rooms was a little rough. Looked as if it had been finished a little too quickly. Staff were helpful. Generally I would recommend the hotel for all except disabled (no lift). We had a wonderful holiday and we would go back again.

Overall it was a fantastic relaxing holiday at the Red Sea Hotel, Holiday Village Egypt. I would recommend that if you have kids to take them along to the club times and activities, our girl was there all the time and she doesn't normally go to things like that.

The only thing I would say is that if you're going for things to do you're not going to find it unless you like water sports.

Good for sun bathing, drinking, relaxing, and meeting new people, I would say its more for the familiy holiday than singles or couples.

Love Egypt, people are respectful and only workers are allowed in the are Sharm so quite safe. Take your life in your hands if you get a taxi! Shops around if you don`t want to go into Naama Bay and nightclubs Macdonalds Domino pizza Starbucks (very nice) and a Hard Rock Cafe soon. I did not want to come home
