Mauricia Hotel

Mauricia Hotel is in a perfect location, near the touristic centre of the island (2 min walking ether by the sea either by the street) quite clean and exotic . prefer general eating in the hotel.

I and my husband stayed at le mauricia hotel in sept 2004 for our honeymoon. The hotel is out of this world and has a lovely romantic feel. It is situated in Grand Baie which is lively and has some lovely restaurants (we only stayed half bored which meant we had the freedom to eat out for lunch and go out for drinks which is well worth it as it is very inexpensive to do so). The staff at the hotel were all great and we were made to feel welcome straight away with our complimentary drinks and hot perfumed towels. The rooms are also spotless and are decorated daily with flower petals and sprayed with essential oils. While there we visited other hotels and noticed that ours was far superior to a lot of them and also that a lot of them were in the middle of nowhere whereas the centre of grand baie was only a two minute walk for us. I would love to go back to this hotel again and would choose to do so if or when we visit Mauritius again.
