Aleca Villa and Pool

My wife and I, together with her brother, booked the Aleca Villa in Dassia with a view to a quiet and relaxing holiday on a relatively independent basis. We were not disappointed. At the airport the Olympic representative dealt with our arrival efficiently, the car was picked up, all relevant written information was provided including directions (which in the event I didn't need as I sourced this elsewhere before departure) Arriving at the Villa we were delighted. It is a pretty little place in a delightful quiet and peaceful spot. Everything worked, the pool area was excellent and the pool itself absolutely spotless and safe.

My only criticism is that as my brother-in-law is much older than my wife and I it would have been helpful to have known in advance how steep the hill was between the Dassia main road and the Villa. While this was not a particular problem for us it was for him which meant regular little trips in the car or taxis when we had expected to be able to walk. However, this was not a major problem and took very little if anything from our enjoyment of the holiday.

The Villa was cleaned and bedding changed every other day and it was a delight to know that even when we had regular trips around and about the island, the Villa was there for us to go back to.

I would recommend this Villa to anybody who wanted a relaxing 'independent' holiday in a quiet location yet within easy reach of all the interests on offer in the immediate area and throughout Corfu. This was especially enjoyable knowing that all the facilities available at the Villa were entirely ours for the duration of the holiday, in our case two weeks!
