Elizabeth Apartments

It was the best hotel my daughter ever been to.She said to me when she got back "mommy i loved that can we go back" I would recommed the elizabeth apartments.Great staff,Clean rooms.Its just an amazing hotel.Just 5 minutes away from the beach and kids love it.In roda its the best sun u can get.If any people have kids go to the beach.We even booked for next year to go there.Hope all you other people go there.Its a small hotel and the owners 1 is austrailan and other is british.Nobody but english people is allowed in its just amazing.If you were to choose a hotel in roda deffinitly elizbeth apartments.When we went to the pool there were plenty of sun loungers.Theres even a jackoosie in the corner.Pool always has lots of room for other people to sit around the pool.Theres only two floors.Theres air condition and balcony.You can have twin beds if you like.When i slept there if you have a baby you can ask for a bed for them.It is abit pricey in roda but its ok.

Arrived with friends in the middle of the night met by Costa who did not appear to even be interested and did not even ask for proof of who we were, shown to our apartment. As very tired after journey went straight to bed. However when we saw next morning what we were expected to put up with it was dreadful i.e. small communal area approx 12ft x 10ft, 3 hard wooden chairs and table, cooker from the dark ages which took 20 minutes to make a slice of toast, kettle which was a health hazard, very minimal cooking utensils, 1 grubby saucepan and frying pan, various mugs which I would say were left by previous holiday makers. It was clear they did not want you to cook but to use their cafe. The only place to sit other than the wooden chairs were cheap plastic ones out on the patio. The bedrooms were adequate but still very dingy. We complained to the First Choice rep. on the first day and asked to be moved but were informed next day that there were no vacancies in Corfu to suit our requirements. They then made an offer of a trip in compensation however this trip was cancelled, an offer of a minimal amount was then made which we refused. Later when we asked if we could keep the room until after 12 noon as our flight was not until the evening we were informed that this was not possible but in a very un-interested attitude said a shower etc was available but we were not shown it we asked if we could leave our luggage and were told to put it under some stairs in the complex which I feel was not very secure. We decided to rent a room in another complex which turned out to be lovely with very friendly people the exact opposite of what we had left. Frankly I am surprised that First Choice use the Elizabeth Apartments I certainly will not!

We have been to quite a lot of places over the years but have never felt more at home than we did when we stayed at the Elizabeth Apartments. The staff were brilliant. Septemeber was our 2nd visit and we've already booked to go back next Sept. We cannot wait. See you all next year.

Would go to Roda again but never to stay in the Elizabeth Apartments. This family run place seemed only to be interested in making money. It's a shame they didn't clean the apartments the same way they looked after the grounds. we have stayed in other apartments in Corfu and apartments may have been basic but they were spotless and the people that maintained the apartments were lovely. The towels and sheets were not changed on a regular basis (twice in 14 days although they didn't actually change them until the 13th day). Don't waste your hard earned money staying in a place like this. Use their pool, but stay somewhere else.

Arrived at 4am and was met by Costas. He was cheerful, polite and couldn't have been more welcoming, even at that crazy hour. The room was extremely clean and although it was basic for self catering, you didn't need anything else for your stay. The only drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't operating on that first night, due to such a late arrival time but that was rectified in the morning when I paid the local charge for it.

The staff were superb, they made you feel comfortable and extremely welcome and you would be very hard pushed to find a better service elsewhere. All the food we ate at the pool bar was lovely and there was a pretty good variety to choose from. The cost of the food and the drink was very reasonable too.

The pool was fantastic and although it was open for non-residents to use too, it was never too crowded and there were always sunbeds available.

The distance from the apartment to the main resort centre of Roda was within an easy walk and when we visited the town, it was never riotous although quite busy.

This was the first time I'd been abroad on my own without another adult with me and I took my 13 year old daughter with me. We had a fantastic time. The First Choice rep called Alex was brilliant and she visited the apartments regularly.

I'd definitely recommend the apartments to anyone looking for a relaxing family oriented holiday and I'd be more than happy to return in the future.

It was my first time at Elizabeth Apartments this year, I loved it!

Nikos Dimetri and Costas were 3 of the nicest people I've ever met.

The town's a lovely place and the view from the beach looking at Albania is lovely!

In the day me and my family spent it by the pool sunbathing or swimming then about 7 we went to get ready to go out for a meal. There are loads of restaurants to choose from they all have lovely food but if you leave it till late to eat it takes a long time to get served, so get there early as u can. After we ate our meal we headed for a bar.

There are loads of bars to choose from to. After about 1 we'd head back to the Kookuburu (the bar at the apts)the bar stays open as late as you want. They have Sky Sports News on so you never fall behind on your sports news, which is good. I must add that they have Sky Sports everywere and show nearly all the football matches so don't start worrying, thinking you won't be able to find anywere.

By the way Elizabeth Apartments were so nice I'll be going back next year.

Elizabeth Apartments fantastic place for a low cost family holiday. North Corfu is a very nice area. But not for the Club 18-30 larger lout thanks you. The Greeks are so friendly and honest. The Elizabeth Apartments are just in the right spot of Roda, 200m from the sea front set down a lane. So you will get a good nights sleep. Just to show how good the Elizabeth Apartments are over 50% of the guests are the same guests year after year, They just keep going back, as we do. So book it and find out for yourself
