Lassi, Venia Studios & Apartments

Sept 2010 saw us going back to Irene & Nikos at Venia studios for the 5th time in 6 years. We stay in either number 4 or 5, which is a double bed studio. It's always clean, has air conditioning and a safe. Fantastic situation, wonderful views, sunsets from the balcony at 8pm. Our hosts could not be more friendly, and Nikos' black grapes are so sweet and his wine is lovely, with a slight kick! A clean and picturesque beach within 5 mins walk in front of the Hotel Mediteranee, which has sunbeds and brollies for hire.

If you go to Lassi I would recommend you call in to Ossies bar which is on the main road opposite the dolphin supermarket - wonderful food cooked by the owner Tony, and the best night time views from the terrace overlooking the lights of Lixouri across the water.

We will return again.

Our studio was on the first floor of the Venia Studios & Apartments with wonderful veiws of the sea,the clean sandy beach was only 3mins walk.The studio was spotless,comfortable and excellent value for money.Nicos&Irene who own the studio's were very helpful and kind,they brought us a bottle of their homegrown wine.Overall i would recommend Venia studio's very highly!

The Venia Studios & Apartments are clean, comfortable and fully equipped kitchen. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, the beach is a 3 minute walk, and the restaurants are 5 minutes away. Very peaceful and tranquil, no night noise at all. Can recommend these apartments whole heartedly. The best we have stayed in in Greece for a long time.

The Venia Studios & Apartments in Kefalonia are central to the beach, restaurants, supermarket and bars. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is a good bus service to the capital, Argostoli, and there is an excellent ferry service to Lixouri, and it's a short bus ride from the airport.

There is no swimming pool on the Venia complex, but there is one nearby that the residents may use.

It was a relaxing and peaceful holiday, with a good choice of restaurants, ranging from Chinese, pizza and Greek dishes. Prices seem to be on par with English prices, but overall it was good value for money.

The Venia Studios & Apartments are a little out of the way, behind the hotel Mediterranean, which is down a steep hill from the main Lassi road. They were very clean and spacious, and the sea views were spectacular. The only problem we found with the apartment was in one of the bedrooms, there was an emergency fire exit sign that was lit 24 hours a day, making it hard to sleep, we overcame this by leaving the wardrobe door open to block the glare.
