Dimitris Apartments Kos Town

We have been going to Kos for twelve years, staying at various hotels/apartments, but have found The Dimitris perfect for our holidays. We normally go in May and October when the temperature is not to high(80-90). Push bikes are the usual way to discover Kos because it is very flat.

The Dimitris is not very far from Kos Town, so if you want let your hair down it isnt far to walk back, although there are plenty of taxis which are very reasonable. Recommended places to eat and drink are, The Village, a traditional Greek taverna which serves great dishes.

You must try The Old River fish taverna owned by the brilliant Yoseph, one of the most friendliest people you could wish to meet. Also, most people visit Shenanigans bar for a great night, try their boomerang steak . If all you want a drink and good modern music try The Blues Brothers bar next to the fountain, the name says it all. If the town is not your thing, there are plenty of tavernas and bars in the main road near The Dimitris. But why not have a good meal and a drink at The Dimitris. They have music by request, you dont have to wait for a drink, have a sing-song at the pool bar, and it isnt far to walk to your room! Well Recommended.
